Pros +
- Plenty of parking, nice and clean hotel. Comfortable beds. It was nice to have a kettle/coffee machine in the room.Breakfast was fantastic. Staff helpful and friendly.
- We loved the location and the building.
- Great location and friendly staff
Cons -
- The toilet paper holder was placed at a very odd position, making it hard to reach. The shower cell didn't have a door or curtain, so the floor was soaked. No squeegee provided, so had to use both floor towels. Water temperature fluctuated.
- We were first given a very small room that really wasn't nice. The window was really dirty and the blind broken. The main issue was that the lift backed onto the room and it was extremely noisy and you could physically feel when it was operating. We asked to move straight away but the hotel was full. Upon asking later they had a cancellation and allowed us to move rooms. However the new room was still close to the lift and could still be heard. Staff are aware of the issue. Signs next to the lift request not to use after midnight, however I feel these are ignored and people are certainly using the lifts from 5am. Beds are extremely soft.

The location is quiet and surrounding by green field. It is nearby the residential area, as well as some supermarkets. The breakfast is decent yet not a lot of options but enough to fill up for an energetic morning.
I didn't pay attention the room has no air-co when I made the booking. But it was not too warm at night and a fan is already provided and stored in the wardrobe. One minus point for the bathroom, the douche is open without any door or cover. Thus all the water splash all over and half of the bedroom got wet.
Location was beautiful food really gd staff very helpful and attentive
Location was pretty, a lot of nature which was nice to look at.The hotel itself looks nice from the outside however the moment you step inside the hotel has a different atmosphere then you would expect of a Klooster / Abbey
The hotels atmosphere tried to be chique / modern, however the moment you step past the lobby it all falls short. The hallways feel like dormitories without any form of decorations or atmosphere, the walls are covered in squashed and dead bugs. The room felt old and musty, smelling of fermented carpets. The bed was very old and worn down, pillows are made of old plastic, with lumps giving you neck pain after even a few short minutes. The blankets are also made of plastic, and the mattress topping, you guessed it, also made of plastic, making your 25+ degrees stay in the summer, even sweatier. Sadly enough with no avail of the missing air-conditioning.The amenities are missing, not even a shampoo or conditioner, which if you ask for the reception claims ' this is not standard in the room ''The shower/bathroom layout was very voyeuristic not giving you any privacy in terms of sound isolation, the shower was swapping between 20/38/60 degrees every few seconds.Breakfast at 17.50 per person per night was extremely bare-bones, some bread, rolls, and muesli, some simple eggs and bacon, few fruits that had mold growing on it.Staff was overall alright however not very accommodating, Minor oddity, there were about 10 mentions on signs about 'preventing theft of bikecarriers' which is a first for me to ever hear about, so be wary if you bring bikecarriers on your car, do not leave em hanging.First and last time Fletcher hotels for us.Payed close to 400 euros for 2 nights, extremely not worth it.
We loved that we could rent e-bikes at the hotel. The garden was beautiful with a short walk. The location was good for our purposes (visiting family).
We had a room next to the elevator so we could hear everyone going up and down. The sign near the elevator asked people to take the stairs after 11pm which most people did.The bar was not open when we arrived. It also closed pretty early. Breakfast was way too expensive. The bathrooms were a bit dated.I accidentally booked an extra night and when we checked out we were charged for that extra night for two rooms which was very disappointing. I understand that there is a cancellation policy but we expected some lenience as returning visitors. And we spend a lot of money on two, sometimes three rooms (when we had guests) and at the bar during that week.
-Beautiful location.-Good breakfast.-Decent WIFI.
-Room was very warm, definitely needs AC.-The rooms look a little bit dated but it matches the monastery vibe so it's OK.
Nice converted older building with history. Room was ok, nothing special. Has normal heater but no Air Con. Need to leave the window open for cool. Not horrible but had some flys come in. Breakfast was very nice but upgrade your scrambled eggs. Boiled eggs were good
No. air con
Huge conference hotel. Efficient and good large room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Ideal for our needs which was a stop on a long drive.
The breakfast is very good such as the variety of the breads, the quality of the meat, the freshness of the boiled eggs….There is a bad one: the scramble eggs were made with boxed eggs and too salty and crumpy…
Made better scrambled eggs, use better toilet papers (those are rough)
ancient hystorical bulding. cosy brasserie
it's a labyrinth.
Clean, quiet, include breakfast and free parking.
Beautiful family run guest house.Great beer.Amazing food, massive portions!Lovely view.Lovely breakfast.Staff were all friendly and helpful even tho manic on a Sunday.
Couldn’t find fault.
Excellent value; spacious, comfortable rooms with kettle & coffee machine, choice of pillows, lots of information about the local area. Excellent WiFi, friendly reception & excellent surroundings.
Good value, 24 Hours sport, cozy and spacious
Picture looks nicer than the room itself
My parents stayed here from England coming to visit family. They had a very early flight and therefore wanted to check in early, even though the hotel was fully booked the night before, the lovely lady at reception was able to get them into a room early with only a short wait (20 mins). Very kind staff, lovely location with beautiful grounds, bikes you could hire outside, lovely bar and restaurant inside. Overall great stay. Room was slightly on the smaller side but we didn't book one of the larger rooms, beds where comfortable and lovely walk in shower
Very spacious family room, a lot better than many other hotels, very comfortable beds and tasty breakfast.Seems Fletcher understands that families need hotels too.
It was quiet and we slept very well. The walk around the hotel was really nice. Lovely woods, and also with the odd statue. Very good dinner in the restaurant. The prok was cooked to perfection.
The room was not cosy. Breakfast was OK, but my lady could not find the water tap for a glass of water. The quality of the matrass was a bit below expectations. We didn't like that there was no bath, only a shower.
Too expensive
The shared room was not cleaned after previous users. The staff constantly turned off the heating and it was cold in the room and bathroom.
