Pros +
- Great hotel, great breakfast for 5 Euro if you order at the arrival not via booking.
- The palace is quite beautiful, obviously it is old rooms, but it's good because it keeps its original charm Our room had a different bathroom of the one we reserved on the website, but we were happy with our room. It was spacious, good AC and the shower water pressure was good as well. It had a fridge with fresh water and the staff were super nice. We had a good parking spot and it is super central. We booked it on the day and we loved our stay!
- Great location and very friendly staff (with minimal English if that's an issue). Lovely old building, full of character. Coria is a lovely little place and worth a visit. Room was a good size with a big bathroom and had aircon, although somewhat dated.
Cons -
- The bells from the Cathedral start yelling at 6 am every 30 min. I arrived at 1 am and was woken up at 6 am… Gavw me huge headache. Rooms are not sound prooved.
- Nothing to mention.
- Facilities in the room are definitely NOT 4* - no kettle or tea/coffee, no toiletries or vanity kit of any kind, tiny worn out towels and had to ask for bidet towel. Noisy fridge which start clanking for no apparent reason one morning.

The location, within the walled part of the city, was fantastic. The room was clean enough, comfortable and we liked the view from our window. The hotel is housed in an old palatial residence (built in the 17th century) and this provides a unique charm to the property.
Our room was not in the main part of the hotel, so we did not have access to the lift. There were quite a few stairs to climb to get to our room and carting our suitcases up these was risky and not a pleasant experience. The floor in the hallway area leading to the bedroom had a weird "soft" feeling underfoot which was a little disconcerting. Due to the fact that there was a religious procession taking place on the night of our arrival, parking around the hotel was not allowed and we had to park 30 mins (walking) away from the address - not the Hotel's fault, but an inconvenience nonetheless. The Bar, café and restaurant were closed throughout our stay, so we were not able to enjoy its services. The staff member who checked us in was quite brusque and not very helpful. This was just this person on this particular night, though. The rest of the staff were very pleasant and attentive.
Amazing amazing views and super comfortable room! Staff was very understanding and collaborative
A nice site, a bar and beside a restaurant with separate menu, but even at a saturday (in november) rarely visitedThe wine per glass was very fine and not expensive at all.
Very friendly staff in the bar/restaurant but the tempura of vegetables in the menu had quiet a good taste, wasn't thick but was overdone, everything else than Al Dente and to oily so I got digestion problems in the night. The waiter after my remark agreed that the tempura was overdone and didn't cover this dish.
The hotel is inside the walls of Coria, near the church and with a great view next to it. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. There is free parking nearby and coffee places and restaurants nearby.
The internet was a bit slow for work.
Spacious rooms.Friendly staff.Fabulous location
Pretty much liked everything.
Excellent location, beautiful building, great value for money
Our room had a gorgeous view of the sunset. Breakfast was wonderful and a good start to our day.
The wifi connection was poor and could use improvement.
Breakfast was very, but not very good, let alone exceptional. However, at 5EUR it was an exceptional value! The hotel setting is fantastic, an old, refurbished Bishop's Palace, but one must understand the flip side of the coin, not a newly built modern building. It is not managed by a large corporation, and this gives it a certain hominess. And ioyt is a wonderful location in Coria. Finally, had dinner at their restaurant, and both service and food quality were suprisingly good, and again a great value.
Well, as I said, not the mots modern facilities, dark corridors (spooky), and an unpleasant bathroom odor.
Coria is a great town. Great base for getting up into the mountains and then be able to socialise at night. The location is brilliant - is Plaza De Cathedral in the heart of the history. Bed was large and comfortable. Room quiet & the staff perfectly pleasant.
Unfortunately the bar/restaurant attached to the Palacio and by a delightful viewpoint wasnt open on arrival day. I also waited to hand my key in before I went touristing for the day, but despite ringing the bell twice & waiting ten minutes saw noone. At all. So the key stayed with me.
Hotel is located in a nice historic old building in town centre. Situated within walking distance of nice tapas bars.
Great location but extremely narrow access streets with the car - you need to be a bold driver!
Location
Decor quite tired
Beautiful view of the church just outside the window.
The staff was exceptional. The lady at the reception in the evening was so helpful and kind.
Good location great staff
The building is exceptional, the location is amazing, the rooms are big and very comfortable.
Not much, probably nothing.
Lugar tranquilo y confortable para disfrutar de Coria. Es un lugar diferente y con un encanto personal.
Dinner at the restaurant was very good, both food and service
