Hotel Sant Ignasi

We booked a spa massage under the trees in the forest, it was magical. The staff was so friendly! Also, the padel court was nice, was a nice fun way to spend the afternoon.

Breakfast was nice, just felt it was a little bit limited; also wished the lunch/dinner menu had more options.

The grounds were gorgeous. The staff was amazing. Our five days on the property was perfect. Although we didn’t have dinner at the restaurant on site, breakfast in the morning was wonderful. We loved our stay!

We loved it and will be back. Beautiful property and gardens, good location, nice pool, great breakfasts, pleasant restaurant.

A few "even better if" observations to address: No gym, no snacks or smoothies around the pool, same menu every night at the restaurant (and for both lunch and dinner, with no pool menu), way too many flies and mosquitoes, weak area for yoga/exercise outside. A few extra touches like a welcome drink or better snacks would complement the otherwise excellent service and property to make Santa Ignasi a truly wonderful hotel. They could easily make the experience even better (and also make 10%-20% more revenue from each guest). Also a bit strange that they have a slogan in English...There are already too many non-Spanish high-end properties on Menorca that feel like they are simply Paris/Berlin/London by-the-cala (e.g., the horrible Fontenille properties), so "The Original Menorca" should embrace its history and heritage a bit more.

Loved everything about this property!! The moment you check in you don’t have to worry about a thing. The pool is extremely nice lots of sun beds to choose from. Breakfast was a 10 every morning. The setting is perfect, just outside of the busy city but not too far about a 10 minute drive ! All I can say is STAY HERE! Also the staff was extremely nice and always helpful.

A lot of noice in from reception - did not sleep very well because of that. Had to change room and it was a bit better

Bar / restaurant area shuts quite early for the evening restaurant to be set up, would be nice to have as being rural there aren’t other options close

The hotel has recently been renovated and it is so beautiful, artistic and has a sense of serenity. They now offer free yoga classes twice a week which was amazing to do in the dabbled sunlight in the morning. The breakfast is great, there’s a buffet of pastries, fruit, yoghurt and tomato toast, and you can order a main e.g scrambled eggs and avocado, or sobrasada with cheese and honey on toast. It’s nice to be in a quiet area with close reach of the Cuitadella. We rented a car and this meant we could embrace being in the countryside but also still explore the island. Free parking at the hotel. The hotel staff are so helpful and will take the time to answer any question and help plan your activities.

The location was great for reaching many of the destinations on the islands.

Unfortunately the hotel was full of flies both in the room and near the pool area. There were so many in the pool area on certain days that we decided not to go at all which felt like a shame.

Beautiful property, very chic. Staff wonderful. Yoga with Ana was a highlight.

This hotel is beautifully curated. From the gardens, to the outside dining and pool area. It is the perfect balance of luxurious, and natural. Very elegant. A really romantic get away … we will be back!

As you are in the calm of countryside, there is Ofcourse natural insects that come with this. Perhaps a natural anti - fly solution is possible to stop the mosquitos. But I believe this is only an issue in September. The rooms also need a little acoustic & light protection from the hallways during the night.

Absolutely first class, attention to detail everywhere. Spotless rooms, fantastic pool and outstanding food.

The peaceful environment, the amazing garden. The room was very cute, with a breathless view on sunset ! The staff was super friendly.

The breakfast could be improved with salty local food in the buffet, such as cheese and charcuteries, and butter.

What a fabulous hotel! A lot of attention to detail and a very caring staff. The property is beautiful and cozy. Even though the pool bar wasn’t open full day, when it was we had the most delicious snacks in our sunbeds.

The only small thing is that breakfast isn’t a full buffet, you choose one of the main (warm) options and need to pay extra for additional itens, but you still get a delicious breakfast anyway.

There are no words to describe how incredible this rural hotel is. The attention by the staff (especially, Cristina), the beauty of the area, the stylish design of the suite - everything is just pure perfection. If you stay here, a dinner at the restaurant is a must!

Everything was perfect

Very nice, peaceful, rural hotel. Ample parking. Attentive staff. Smooth check in. Room had been upgraded. Spotlessly clean. Liked the style. Lovely pool.

We dined at the outdoor restaurant the first night - food was fine but the flies spoilt our experience - hence dined in Ciutadella the second night. Less flies at breakfast. One of the most boring omelettes I have ever had - they need to offer to add cheese/ham/peppers/tomato/onion/anything or all of the above.
