Sagitario Playa

An excellent hotel near a range of bars and restaurants (and a beach) in Cala blanca. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious, and the pool facilities perfect for the number of people present (with part in shade at all times of the day). The staff are very friendly and happy to help. The food buffet had a good selection of interesting options that varied each morning and evening. We used a car to get around but there was a bus stop near the hotel.

We were happy with all aspects of the hotel, so no complaints.

Very nice hotel and very good breakfast options. Location also good, there was a very nice beach close by.

The rooms were spacious

The property is not for young couples or children as it is not fitted for so. The activities and the food are for the older folks. Therefore not recommended for young couples or families with children.

The location, the pool, the services

Nothing, everything was great

Breakfast 6. some products not very good quality (refined olive oil, milk, butter, orange juice...not good products).

Breakfast and dinner were delicious with some of main dish changing daily. Staffs working diligently with smiles. Check in and out was fast.

Dinner not included drinks. Had to pay for even water. However breakfast has all drinks including coffee juice milk, etc. Fridge and air conditioning works with room keys in your room. So you will have cold beverages next morning. The beach near the hotel is not so good. Stinks with rotten seaweed.

Excellent selection for breakfast. Nice bar and all staff were very professional, helpful and friendly - always helping where they could. The location between the cove/beach and the supermarket with a number of pubs and restaurants nearby was perfect. Liked that the car could be parked nearby for free.

Nothing needs to be improved from our experience!

Very nice hotel 4 min walk from Cala Blanca where there are shops and restaurants too. Bear in mind that in low season this area is very quiet and even the shops are closed. There was one bar open though that was nice (Jenny’s) If you go there you must try the croquetas! I’m sure in summer this area will be much more busy and fun. It was perfect for us as we had a car to go around and wanted to relax. The hotel is lovely. It has a spa that you can use in the afternoon/evening and the facilities of the hotel are very nice. Our room had a nice balcony and bath. Room was also quite big. I must mention all the kind and lovely staff of the hotel with a special mention to waiters Gustavo and Sergio and the young man cooking the food. Amazing customer service! And very very nice food :) We will definitely be back!

We liked all of it! But to mention things that could improve to be even better:-The lights on the corredor were quite bright so having sensor lights in the night would be a good point to consider for the future. -Being able to have a packed take away breakfast if you have to leave early in the morning. We had to leave the hotel at 6am and we could have had a cold breakfast at 5:30am but we were not hungry so early, so having the option to take something packed would have been good (maybe a piece of fruit, a small bread with ham and cheese and a croissant or something similar?) But as I said we absolutely loved the hotel and all the staff! Hope to be back soon.

Room is not bed, not new, but have comfortable bed.

Didin't like the deserts , not variable of deserts, every evening lemon yogurt, some vipping cream, and cake. Only 3, 4choise. Didn't like they don't have any kids menu, only chips.. My 4 years old almost didin't eat. I saw another kids aswell eat just some chips and that's it. Never been on 4 stars hotel with so low choice. Be aware if you wana go with small kids till 6 years old in to the pool. because hotel doesn't let go to swim in indoor outdoor pool. Just from 6 years old. I didin't saw this info in booking com. We book this hotel on April Because they have a Indoor heating pool. But they didn't want let us in. But my husband say for the staff like our doughter wana go, and they give us expectations. Thanks for them. My husband go with a doughter in indoor pool and take her swimmin ring, when we go out spa lady saw, and start very rood angry talk with us, like you can't go with a swimm ring, so we say sorry, we don't know that, next time we know it, then she angry arguing more about that and even ask our room number and call to the reception and told about us,like we bring little girl swimming ring, we broke a spa ruls, say for them we need to listen rools. But we don't know that,we don't found info in a room spa book where is a ruls, and price..nothing about swim ring. Terible expirience. I even didn't wana stay in this hotel. That lady need to learn how to speak with a people. Because after that i feel like I did something very bad, like kill someone. Never go back in this hotel.

Breakfast and dinner were amazing, with lots of options and well made food. The waiters were always quick to take dirty plates off our tables and very kind. The room was all in all comfortable and clean.

I would suggest installing mosquito nets on the balcony windows/doors, at least at the first floor. It was still quite warm outside, but not everyone likes to sleep under the AC and would prefer to have the windows open instead.

Freshly squeezed juice only served on sat and Sunday. In a 4 star we would expect fresh juice every day . Seems penny pinching and would rather you costed in fresh juice into rhe hotel cost.

We had a fantastic, the food is just amazing tasty and full of flavours with a massive choices.

Dinner and the cleanliness

Fantastic Breakfast, with plenty of options, omelette, sandwich eggs etc cooked to order.Dinner was the same, plenty of options and fish, meats cooked for you at the time.

It was all good during my stay, nothing to complain about.

The pool looked nice, room needs a few fittings replaced to keep up with the refurb, ie new air con control and new hairdryer in bathroom.Breakfast was lovely, buffet continental or English.

Comfortable hotel close to restaurants and beaches and shops so plenty to do. The hotel was quiet and relaxing, not overcrowded like some. The staff were wonderful. Entertainment every night, lovely sized pool and no fights for sunloungers!! great food. Everything you need for a perfect stay! We will definitely return.
