Centrally located, small hotel family owed and operated, outstanding service

Parking cumbersome, like most town in Italy, no elevator

Great location, comfortable rooms, very quiet at night when we were there at the beginning of Nov

The hotel is very well located, close to many attractions in the region and in a nice and silent pedestrian street.

The hotel property owners were the smiliest and most accommodating people. The location is in the heart of the old town of Castiglione del Lago so <30 second access to bars/restaurants. Breakfast was a real highlight, amazing selection of italian pastries and sandwiches with fresh coffee served. Driving up to the hotel you go through the old gates of Castiglione which was a squeeze but the hosts were there to help and accordingly sort our parking. A hotel with old world Italian charm.

The owners: charming, helpful, going out of their way to make you feel good.The location: right in the middle of town and within walking distance to the beautiful castle.

The stairs to 3rd floor complicated me because of my personal situation.

The room was well maintained and super clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was also very nice with good restaurants around. The view from the walls was beautiful!

The street parking was outside the walls, so carrying all our luggage was a bit difficult.

the hospitality is great, I value the personal treatmemt, and the owners did all they could to make me feel confortable (even opening breakfast at 6:45 fo me) you feel like home. good wifi, compleate breakfast, good location with good restaurants at working distance, so, I strongly recomment to book in here, although you need to walk a litlle from the car, it's worth it, and beatiful, so good and relaxim time :-)

Hotel La Torre is within the walls of the hilltown of Castiglione del Lago, so you get to enjoy the vibe of the old town. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. They showed us where we could park our car for free within a short walk from the hotel. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The nearby lake has wonderful walking/running paths and parks. We enjoyed a delicious seafood lunch in nearby Passignano; also worth checking out.

Everything was perfect.

It was charming and clean. The location was perfectly centered within the city near lots of restaurants, bars, and stores. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful our entire stay. They made us feel very welcome and made great conversation. They are wonderful people. Included breakfast of pastries and sandwiches was great as well. Easily the single best hotel experience I have had in my life.

Breakfast is all assorted bread butter and jam. Everything is limited

No running water the cold water faucet was broken and was not fixed in 4 nights. I spent two nights in a different hotel and used this hotel because they would not cancel my reservation

La Torre is a charming, well located, family run hotel. The owners are very kind and helpful, and I would definitely stay here again
