Badiaccia Village Camping

The location is simply amazing, with a beautiful lake view that adds so much charm.The cottages were well-structured, clean, and surrounded by well-maintained premises.There were plenty of amenities and very good facilities for both adults and kids.The on-site restaurant was quite good and convenient.The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke English well, which made communication easy.Supermarkets were located nearby, which was a big plus.

These are relatively common issues in a camping-style setup, but still worth mentioning for future improvement:There was a leak under the washbasin that unfortunately caused water to seep into the adjacent bedroom.The toilet flush didn’t function properly and needed attention.The Wi-Fi connection was very weak, and given that mobile reception is also poor in the area, staying connected was difficult.

Fab staff, nice caravan, pool was excellent, the kids LOVED the slides, I loved the spa section, different depths, was lovely and quiet at certain points in the day. Restaurant was great, handy shop, good gelato, beautiful lake (to look at) great kids play areas, felt safe, close to train station and free shuttle from station

It was a little noisy being close to the railway line (all hours-although we did get used to it) and our caravan backed onto a cycle path so we had noise from there very early morning. The evening entertainment was loud and late but we could tune out to that. Lake was very inviting to swim in, the beach was more mud than sand.

Incredible stay, the mobile home had ample storage and very well designed. the little terrace is a nice bonus. The setting of the camping grounds on the lake is stunning and all the facilities- multiple playground, indoor play area, baby toilets and kids pool and baby dance make it super family friendly

main swimming pool wasn't operating, only the kids pool which is shallow and not heated.maintenance of the cabins on outside was below par, had to sweep cobwebs off the porch on arrival.the store had some groceries but to get to a proper supermarket is too far too walk, you have to get a shuttle or taxikitchen had no cloth, scrubber, dishwashing liquid, t towel so had to buy these items which I would think should come as part of what is offered.cabins were very small for a family of 6.compared to europa camping village we stayed at in venice this facility was well below par compared to that facility.the facility has potential to be a lot better

The location is decently located. The mobile home, while certainly not 'supreme', was neat, and the fitness center offers a variety of equipment to allow for a nice workout. The upper playground is okay and offers some fun slides for the little ones.

Despite being announced as „open until 10pm, carryout until midnight“, the restaurant was unwilling to take my family’s order at 9:45. We ended up going to bed hungry that night and packed our bags the next day. Taking into account that the lackluster animation program does not start until 9:30ish, this kind of treatment came as an even bigger surprise. Apparently, the campsite comes with different time zones for its guests.The lower playground, frankly, is a health hazard. Do not go there. While some of the items have been shut down, others – including a wooden house that might once have invited children to climb up its 'roof' – are so run down I‘m surprised no incidents took place during our stay.The service was okay until the end of peak season. Afterwards, things went south noticeably. An item at our facility that had been broken since our arrival would not be fixed until we asked for it a second time. Similarly, hygiene became an issue towards the end of August. For instance, the children’s bathrooms, which used to be quite nice in the beginning, could only be used in the mornings towards the end of our stay.Oh, about the lake: This is in no way the staff‘s fault, but if you look forward to taking a nice dip in the clear water (as advertised), that‘s not going to happen. There simply isn’t enough water and the 'beach' had reached about four times its original width upon our arrival.

Leaving the place and going somewhere else

Lac is dry, the camping is dirty, the mobilhomes are old and need work done, people are not very kind, the food is the worst you can eat in the whole of Italy. Just don't go to this place.
