Friendly staff, beautiful location, excellent breakfast

the room is very basic. No coffee facilities. The only street where you can park for free is a very steep street.

To those who is going to get there: the hotel has no parking, which was promised. During the weekend it was a real problem. Shower was working with a very strange way. Suddenly could turn to be very hot. So you should be on alert all the time.

Location great and exceptionally clean hotel. Staff nice. The lovely lady who did breakfast, she was warm and kind. Breakfast a good buffet. Lovely garden overlooking the lake.

Room 3 the shower goes from warm to then scolding hot and makes a funny noise. 4 flights of stairs. Rooms quite clinical and functional no charm.

Great location and very welcoming and hospitable staff. The buffet breakfast was excellent with fresh sweet and savoury options and the restaurant had excellent views across the lake. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Nice communal lounge and rooftop areas to enjoy the views. Overall, very satisfied.

No lift to hotel rooms located the third floor which may be an issue for anyone with a pram or access issues (or heavy suitcases). Decor was a little outdated all in good condition.

The hotel was in the heart of the historic centre. It offered beautiful views of the medieval centre and from the rooftop terrace, spectacular views of the lake. The piazzas were quiet n the morning but were lively in the late afternoon and evening when people gathered for drinks and food. Never too noisy though. The hotel restaurant was fantastic. Gorgeous meal with lots of local specialties. The buffet breakfast offerings were varied and so delicious. The hotel is in a perfect location with easy access by walking to the beach and the ferry. It was a perfect weekend getaway. I would come back in a heart beat.

We liked the location of the hotel which is on the main road of the city. There are stores and restaurants nearby. It's a walking distance to the lake. The room was clean and despite it being on the main road, the windows are double glazed so you don't hear noises.The hotel has a good restaurant with a view overlooking the lake and most times it's fully booked so reservation is recommended.

I am more of a savoury fan so I didn't have many options to choose from at breakfast.

Nice old fashion hotel in the middle of old town. Very good breakfast.

Well positioned and comfortable (second) room. Excellent restaurant, with great terrace table, probably best to book.

Our 2 night room had been given to others in error by the hotel. First room had poorly functioning a/c and had a poor night.Complained but was made to feel as if it was our fault, though resolved with good second room

rooms look more outdated than the pictures show, breakfast was ok but we were missing fresh egg dishes (the ones presented were cold), no elevator (it will be a horrible climb if you have a big suitcase)

Nice room with a view. Comfortable bed and good shower.

It said there was parking but there isn’t. You can either park in the car park at a price or park outside the town gate if you can get a space which ate few and far between. We got the parking app and used the car park.If you park for free outside the town gate it’s quite a walk up to the hotel.No one permanently on the front desk . No lift up to the hotel so not suitable for elderly or disabled.

This was a charming small hotel within walking distance to the restaurants.Beautiful views of the lake.

Stairs might be bothersome to carry luggage upstairs

This little castel has all you need: great view, restaurants and shops. The hotel has a restaurant downstairs that offers a terrace and a wide breakfast buffet. The employees are very friendly and take good care of the guests.try to get a room with see view!

parking is only nearby and the hotel rooms are in the second floor with no elevator but when doesn’t have a huge suitcase, it’s just fine since the stair way is wide and comfortable.

The steep stairs, which weren’t mentioned. Parking could be explained better. It should be mentioned in the description that there is no elevator. A light wasn’t working in the bathroom. As we entered the room, it smelled musty.

Great location and view from the room. Staff was super nice. You do have to enter from the restaurant initially, which was a little awkward while carrying bags and everything. But a nice stay all around.

Clean. Comfortable bed. Nice view of the lake. Quiet yet we are close to shops and restaurants. Free parking is just outside of the gate.

Our room is on the third floor with no elevator but not a big deal for us.

Great views of the lake from our room.Also from the terrace where we had our breakfast which was very good.

We found the four staircases up to our room a bit hard going in the heat but it is in the nature of an old building like this that you won't have a lift.
