Bilkent Hotel and Conference Center

Without an internet connection, I was unable to communicate with my colleagues. I asked the receptionist for help, but with no luck. I felt completely isolated and had difficulty getting any work done.

Location and pool

Very small showers

The breakfast is OK but do not expect the rich Turkish breakfast.

I have specifically asked for a digital copy of the invoice. Although I have been told that I am going to receive it by email, I received nothing (already check the spam). Thanks god I still keep the hard copy. The sliding doors of shower tray was not working well. The facilities are aging.

I liked the pool area and the breakfast is amazing staff very helpful. The hotel itself a bit old but it’s OK, you feel you living in the 90s ?

 Very green

The staff were all friendly and polite, although one morning there were a number of dirty tables at breakfast and 4 or 5 of the young waiters were stood around talking

The hotel is becoming DATED and is badly in need of some money being spent on it to update the interior fittings

Nice rooms. Good staff. Clean.

Need a car or take a taxi to get anywhere.Breakfast is ok but not great

TERRIBLE SERVICE

I ordered non-smoking room. Ehen I have arrived at midnight, hotel told me that they only have a smoking room which I did not accept. They offered me a deluxe room and made me pay the difference. Of course I could not argue on it, because it was midnight and because I had to sleep right away.Non smoking room is not a special request and YOU have to provide that room if you accepted reservation for it, otherwise you will have to upgrade for free. I requested the reimbursement and we will see where this goes. Don't waste your time here, just move your reservation to POINT hotel which is very close and gives 5 star service

overpriced, old, no facilities

The facilities at the hotel was good.

The aircon cannot be set to a lower temperature, called the concierge but they did not attend to the call.

room was large.

it was so outdated. the bedding was so uncomfortable… for some reason, my bedding smelled like men’s aftershave! I was so concerned about that thinking wasn’t the bedding changed. spoke to my colleague who stayed in a different room at the same time, said the same thing! if that was a way of adding refreshing scent, please dont. and the bedding was so rough. it was like sleeping wrapped in a worn out cotton towel. my shower water won’t go down after a shower, even the next night. hotel might have been great back in the day- but it’s so outdated now.

Room was made properly between nights.

Dirty (cigaret smell everywhere, old carpets), noisy (wedding took place in the hotel, loud music after 1 AM), disorganised (the hotel tried to make me pay for minibar consumptions I didn't have, first beer and chocolate, then randomly nuts...)

Quiet, cozy and clean room. Tasty breakfasts, nice space around. Good localisation if you want to stay in Ankara and rest after long day.

Nice breakfast. Room was fine and bed comfortable.

The hotel smelled from smoke all over. Including the non smoker room I got.

Was good because of location in our particular case. Will not stay again if not required.

Breakfast, service at breakfast, quality of food. Meals were of average quality as well.

Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet, relaxing location. Very good breakfast, and very nice restaurant.

For me all was good. if you want to travel by public transportation may be another location might be more practical.

Location provides a nice view of Ankara and breakfast was nice

Wifi and room telephone didnt work the evening we checked in and only fixed the day after. There were 1 shower and 1 bathtub in the room, but shower was too small.

Cosy Hotel. Clean comfortable and good staff

rooms are excellent

Great beds, fantastic breakfast and very helpful staff! Also heating was great in winter, not too overheated which is sometimes the case! Spacious rooms and corridors! 5 minutes taxi to Bilkent mall with good eating and drinking options. Nice pub at the hotel too. Pool looked great for the summer months.

The hotel is ok but seemed old fashioned, the staff was very nice and friendly

The hotel in booking pictures is different from the reality, the pool was super dirty, no tables near the pool for meals.

They have a nice Spa area and nice breakfast.

When I arrived I didn't feel welcomed at all. Most of the staff didn't speak english and just ignored me. Also the water tap in the room didn't really work. For such a hotel I was very disappointed that this was not checked before and that the staff were very careless.
