The Ankara Hotel

The size of the room is big , clean , The hotel is integrated into a train station hub, surrounded by numerous restaurants

The internet is bad , I've extended my stay at the same hotel more than 4 times through Booking.com, and each time the price was different with significant discrepancies

This is a real, new, modern, useful, clean and professionally run hotel that simply could not have better location than it has. It is located within a new and modern multi-purpose building located in the heart of Ankara and in the same building there is a train station, including for the high speed trains for different directions, Sivas, Istanbul, Konya/Karaman. Metro station is within absolute walking distance as well as some rent a car agencies. The cleanliness is at the high level, breakfast is very good and varied, the staff is polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beds as well. A good nigh rest is assured. There is no need to look anything beside this accommodation for your visit to Ankara. My honest recommendations.

The only detail that I did not like was the particular location of my room. It was the last in the row with a window looking directly toward the restaurant and that situation has created a sense of the lack of privacy.

Good location, we had wonderful food in a Ege restaurant 10min walk, modern building, large room, large bathroom, at night very quiet.

Internet is unusable. How is it possible to build a great hotel and not provide an internet? In modern times everything is on internet.

Great location. I am a railway fan, and it is always interesting for me to stay close to the station so I can observe railway operations, which I did at the Ankara Hotel. Breakfast was also very good - with a terrace overlooking the tracks in the station.

The temperature in the room could not be adjusted to a comfortable level. While the thermostat read: "20 deg", it was definatly not 20; more likely 30 deg or more. The hotel technician came to my room and said the system was working normally. Clearly, it was not. Please, have a look at the cooling systems in the rooms and make sure they meet the needs of your guests, during the hot Ankara summer.

The hotel is conveniently located within the train station, providing easy access to public transportation. I booked a standard room for three nights, as it was the only option available at the time. However, prior to my stay, other room types became available and prices dropped significantly. Unfortunately, my booking was non-refundable, so I couldn’t benefit from the improved availability or lower rates.The room was clean, and most of the room service was friendly and welcoming. While the location is convenient and I plan to visit Ankara frequently in the coming months, this experience has left me uncertain about returning to this hotel.

I requested a late check-out until 1:30 PM, but was only allowed to stay until 12:30 PM. No upgrade options were offered, even after room availability improved. Additionally, basic amenities such as toothbrushes, paper tissues, and shaving kits were not provided in the room and had to be requested separately.The reception staff were uncooperative and rigid in their approach. The view from the standard room was disappointing, overlooking a closed yard and train tracks—an expected drawback given the hotel’s location.

The room was spacious with nice bed and pillows. Location is perfect if you plan to get around using the train. The hotel is the same building as Ankara Train Station. It can be quite difficult to get taxi uber at night to the city.

The Wifi signal was very bad in our room.

Location. It's right next to the "high speed" train station and car hire. It's also walking distance to major tourist attractions or a short metro to Kizilay, where there's plenty of eateries.

Grey towels; stayed both before and after roadtrip to Cappadocia and encountered the same staff at reception - he seemed to be more senior than the others; just thought he was a bit arrogant, a smile would have beennice. English speakers may struggle.

- Good location, directly in the building of the train station- Modern- Clean- Thoughtful and professional staff

- We couldn't figure out how to start the air condition. The display only said "Central" so maybe the A/C is controlled by the reception desk. After a long exhausting trip we were to tired to ask and just accepted to sleep in a pretty hot room.- The fake Turkish security checks! As the hotel is part of the train station building, there is a security check like in a Turkish airport: When you enter the hotel you have to put your luggage in an Xray machine, take everything out of your pockets and pass a detector gate. When the detector beeps - nothing happens. Turkish security staff just looks at you like they don't know what to do. So there is no real security, just annoyment for the hotel guests.

Everything was perfect, from the staff to the room that was very comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The parking was also included, which was really nice as we’ve travelled but motorcycle.

Bad personal in hotel , you can’t order food outside hotel, I don’t understand why I need eat in hotel ??? I want order what the problem ???? Reception also angry guys .. no smile and talk bad … my friend was in this hotel last October and service was more than good . Now hotel down .????

In the city center, near the metro and railway station.Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable hotel in general. I appreciate Turkic hospitality.

Hotel is situated in high speed railway.station. Excellent location for start your trips in Ankara. There is a lobby bar and restaurant. It is very modern hotel. Very clean. Room are big. In the room you have everything that you need for your stay. Also, you have a free water, coffee and tea in the room. There is also a mini bar.

A one night stay close to the train for an early start to Istanbul. Comfortable hotel and room. Staff helpful with car drop off.
