Easy to locate. You can walk from to hotel to Anitkabir. And visit the main place of Ankara.

Is an elegant old hotel. The temperature control looks broken (at least in the room I was)

STAY AWAY!! They gave us the wrong room, denied having the room we booked all together, stalled us 2 hours and charged us 4600 extra to give us a new room.

The staff were really helpfull

The first night I was on the 6th floor room was quite but the air con did nothing to cool the room and the pillows were hardand lumpy. I had to ask for soft pillows. When my mum arrived we realized that the bed was very noisy when two people sleep in I had to ask reception to change my room the second room had the same problem with the bed the third one on the third floor was comfortable and quite but as we were closer to the road it was very noisy. The first morning there was not much put out for breakfast there was a plate covered with 3 bits of cheese and some cucumber and tomatoes and a boiled egg I was shocked by this. I asked for a mug for coffee I was told they don't have one but there was two in our room so I took them and from. Day two they put out breakfast properly so that fixed the issue

The location was close to the station, and the breakfast was good.

The walls are not solid and could hear the TV's from both sides. I did complain to reception, and appears they acted on it, but didn't make any difference.

The hotel is great. Good location, amazing food with lots of things to choose from for breakfast.

You need to book in advance to go the pool, which is closed in the mornings.

The rooms smelled like if someone was smoking in another room when turning on the AC.

Great hotel. Breakfast really good and the spa was lovely. Close to the railway station and plenty of restaurants and things to do in the local area.

I had a beautiful experience, even if not all staff can speak English we talked through the translator and they were all kind and helpful.I liked the breakfast it had a lot of variety in the buffet and the hotel is in a really helpful position, the metro is near and also there are the station and bus stops, There are also a lot of different restaurants in the area so you have plenty of choices

A reasonable price for an ok hotel

It was unfortunate that our room overlooked a derelict building. The weather was still warm but the hotel had switched to winter heating so our room was too hot. The hotel was just a little to far on the tired side

Hotel to avoid! I had a reservation for a room with two beds and breakfast. For the first time in a hotel, I couldn't sleep on one of the beds, because it had a very old and deteriorated mattress with stains, so much so that you could feel the rough covering through the sheet! (There wasn't even a mattress protector). We had to sleep in the other bed, sleeping horribly... The receptionist was very unpleasant, he didn't even greet us upon arrival. When I said I had a reservation, he simply said: "Passports?" Both he and the spa employee tried in every way to prevent us from using the pool and sauna, saying first that it was full, then that it was closed, then that we had to reserve!! The truth is that we saw on the surveillance screen that there were only 2 people in the pool! Finally, breakfast was by far the worst we ate in a 3-week trip to Turkey (the little bread there was was old, the coffee was horrible, old fruit...). We just didn't leave the hotel because we were very tired after a long trip. Run away...

There are some good and bad things to say I will start with good Excellent location - very near to major train station and metro Reception staffs was really great- helped with my travel and even arranged some food for me even I was checking out very early in the morning Helped me to get a taxi on time to reach airport Rooms are spacious with all the basic facilities If you are looking for a quick stay for one night , wanted to reach major train station or metro or even airport in the morning- this would be a good option Not really recommended for long stay

Really not feel like a 4 star hotel Not valued for the money we spend Denied our access to the pool with some simple excuses that pool was under cleaning , which the staff can do in the time when the pool is closed I have read some reviews from other people saying the same issue with the pool - kind request for the management that , people book the rooms in hotel with swimming pool to use it when they need really spoiled my last day in turkey .Carpets in the room really need some attention

The hotel is in great condition, with lots of amenities, the breakfast is delightful, and in general, the property is amazing and even cheap for how luxurious it seems. But above all, it was the WONDERFUL STAFF that would give it my 10/10. They helped with everything, and after a rough day sightseeing in the sun, or a long flight, is everything you can hope for.

There’s not a single thing I didn’t like, I will be repeating my experience as soon as I have the opportunity.

We like our hotel room. It's clean and cosy. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We were quite tired after a long day of traveling and decided to order food with the hotel, the pasta was really good and price is also very reasonable. You can walk to the train station from the hotel via the underground tunnel where the entry is just across the street from the hotel. It's a comfortable 5 min walk to the train station.

Amazing location. I loved the breakfast buffet with so many options. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is close to the train station (10 min walk), the bus station (15 minutes by car or metro), a metro station is like 2 or 3 minutes away by foot and, of course, Anitkabir is very close; my room actually had an amazing view of the mausoleum. Many stores and some restaurants 5-10 minutes from the hotel. Many but not all of the hotel employees spoke English to some degree.

Quite frankly, the only reason I don't give it 10 stars is because the room had a slight but noticeable cigarette smell even if I had selected the non-smoking room option. Hotel workers insisted it was a smoke-free room, yet it smelled to cigarette.

Staff very helpful greta location for the metro and YHT station. Really lovely breakfast lovely staff. Let us leave our cases. Very professional hotel.

Location was great for our needs. It was close to the train and bus stations. Staff was friendly and assistive.

Wanted smoke free room but was assigned a smoking room. Possibly a language barrier issue.
