Radisson Blu Hotel, Mount Erciyes

Right on the slopes and such a lovely place to enjoy nature and the vibes from the many many seating areas and restaurants. The views are incredible, the spa amazing and the best rentals inside wonderful.The staff was super nice and accommodating.

Loved the hotel and service. Lift prices were very affordable. Staff in the ski rental/lockers area within the hotel were excellent. We felt very comfortable as Westerners in this wonderful resort. The cuisine at the Raddison was superb, and the chef and staff were high quality and delivered with pride. Mt. Erciyes is an exciting and affordable intermediate mountain with great powder and great people.

A small criticism is a limited choice of food outside the resort and the high tax on alcohol. However, at Mt. Erciyes, you are living at high altitude so limited intake of alcohol is a plus.

However, we must mention some staff who we believe helped and advised and did many things over and above what was required. So we would like to congratulate the following people. Guest Relations, Anastasia Reception desk,Ali and TarifHakan, Main supervisor in the main restaurant.

Housekeeping.We took our room on the Monday afternoon with no issues, however the following day, I went skiing and my wife went to the gym, on her return to the room she noticed that some items that we had bought with us to give as presents were gone. My wife instantly went to find the chambermaid and asked where the items were, and she had taken them and put in the cleaners room for herself, after my wife spoke to the chambermaid she gave the items back.However, this is not the chambermaid fault. It is the management and training of the staff to understand rules and procedures and standards.Ie with things such as how many times a week the bed needs to be changed,the room cleaned. This should be carried out by the cleaning staff daily, not when asked by my wife.We only saw the supervisor once, and this was the day before we were leaving.Restaurant and Bar.To start with, prior to our holiday, I contacted the hotel about menus and prices of which we were sent these on 20th Dec and was told that these are the menus and prices for the season.In the ski and lounge bar where we ate every evening and most lunchtimes there was a lunch and evening menu for these occasions. The evening menu and drinks were higher than what we had been sent prior to visiting.The veal steak on both menus were different prices, but it was exactly the same items served. So be careful with all prices because it was very expensive for the quality and standard served. Food and drinks served here were more expensive than most ski resorts we have been to in Austria, Switzerland, and France.In this restaurant people at lunchtime were walking in with wearing there ski boots, and many people bringing there skis into the restaurant too, this was dangerous and the kit should be left outside in the appropriate areas. Again, if guests were told the rules, then this would not happen.In the main restaurant we only had breakfast because we had only booked  B & B.

Perfect location for an isolated ski trip on the footstep of the Mt Erciyes ski runs. The bed was also super comfy and shower heat and pressure great after a day of skiing!

The location isn't close to any other restaurants or anything for the evening, so you are pretty restricted to the rather expensive in-house restaurant options - this was fine for only a couple of nights but maybe not if we stayed longer

The hotel is a resort - it has all the facilities of a resort & can ski direct off the hotel. Eg, There is a “house” carpet which you can ski from the resort at no cost, there are lifts within +-80m. Pool with outside area, sauna, steam, amazing lounge with view & apres ski. Hotel is well looked after & new. Food was delicious, with many options. The staff are attentive, friendly, helpful and overall add to the experience.

Don’t get a room with inter-leading door.

We had a disappointing experience with a staff member, we were asking what the cakes in the patisserie were, and the employee kept saying we have to pay for it, we can't get it for free, even though we knew that and just wanted to know what they were. He then directed us to free cookies instead, assuming we cannot afford the cake (it is quite expensive to stay in the hotel so it was a bit shocking for them to think this).The hotel is also extremely dry, to the point that the stay was extremely unpleasant. Nose bleeds, post nasal drip the entire stay. We had to buy a bowl and boil water to help humidify the air, and we had to sleep with the window opened in -6°c weather in order to get some sort of humidity in. We mentioned it multiple times and the one manager said it is a problem with the system, while everyone else said they felt the same. One employee even said to me 'unfortunately, same' when I complained about the extreme dryness. For so much money, you'd expect them to have some plans in place so their guests don't get sick.

Had an incredible time at Radisson Erciyes, the staff were so kind and attentive, making us feel so comfortable, the best service ever. The hot pool was fantastic, and the food was absolutely amazing – the perfect way to end a day of skiing. Can’t wait to return!

The hotel is absolutely wonderful, and exceeded all our expectations! Great heated pool, delicious breakfasts, clean, spacious, and very comfortable rooms. We especially liked the ski lockers and ski rent. The ski lockers are heated, so your boots and ski clothes are always dry. We only rented skis and sticks and they were great. A special pleasure is that the ski lifts are next to the hotel, and if you want to get to a further lift, the hotel provides a free shuttle service

The food in the restaurant is not always tasty and the main pool was quite cold. These are the only things I could think of from the disadvantages

From the description of the room it was not clear that it is in a separate building and to reach slopes you need to cross the road.

The hotel has nice amenities at an excellent loctation. However, it is super hot and the temperature cannot be regulated. Nice hotel but not enjoyable given the heat and unacceptable value for money.

We were suffering at constant 28 degrees and could not sleep at night, despite leaving the windows open. Nice hotel but not enjoyable given the heat. Unacceptable given the high price.

A cozy lounge for evening gatherings, delicious cocktails, excellent varied breakfasts and very tasty food in the restaurant.

It would be nice to have a shop on site with a variety of sweets for children.

Clean and cozy Rooms

I had an unpleasant experience with an employee at the reception named Mr. Alpar. He was rude and disrespectful, interrupting me while I spoke and dismissive of my concerns. The staffs should be more kind.

Main building design and facilities ok but totally overpriced..

This Radisson hotel’s business is built up on scam and fraud and supported by booking.com.. I you check hotel webpage there are super nice statements about ski in-ski out, sauna, pools etc, and this information is repeated in booking.com website, but in reality if you book standard room in this hotel, you will be accomodated in another hotel , other side of 4 line highway with no pedestrian crossing, so there you cannot ski in or out, your breakfast is total crap, you can only access sauna and pool in main building if you surviwe higway crossing , what is especially bad after sauna or pool in cold weather ..To get accomodation in main building you must pay extra for room, breakfast etc, what we finally did to move into real hotel! Unbelivable scam from Radisson and booking.com.. These buildings must be promoted as two different hotels , one with 2 stars and another maybe 4 stars with different sales strategy..! Second big problem is staff.. in restaurant there are lot of man , looking like special forces soldiers working as waiters, and they are so unfriendly and not able to remember simplest orders, that it was like joke in our group ( 4 adults and two childs) , food is quite bad (despite of prices what are the highest I have seen in Turkey) and atmosphere is like : why you came here and disturb us at all..!!

Great access to slopes. Really nice breakfast. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Main pool was a bit too cold and there aren’t enough chairs in the pool area. Small indoor/outdoor pool and sauna were great!

Good ski resort with all in one facilities

Staying at the annex building (across the hotel main building) which was not equipped with all hotel’s facilities, requires shuttle for mobility and not easy to be reached on foot

Location and friendly staff

Electrical fault in rooms left us without electricity for the better part of the last night. This also affected the air conditioning which left the room uncomfortable and eventually cold in sub-zero temperatures. We did give the hotel the opportunity to change our rooms but that was not forthcoming. Very disappointed when the electricity went off at 1:30am after we were guaranteed it was repaired the night before with no need to change rooms.

Beautiful, clean hotel with the nicest staff. Loved every bit of staying here.The ski instructors were extremely friendly and cooperative.

The staff overall was very helpful and big shoutout for the ski rental company (not belonging to the hotel itself) because they were absolutely amazing for the 4 days. Location is perfect if you are planning to ski and if weather condition are also on your side.

The hotel's description on Booking.com listed amenities such as a hammam, hairdresser, manicure, and pedicure services and on top of that, the spa - sauna and steam room are separated between by gender but I came over here to spend time with my boyfriend and enjoy our time together but obviously it did happen - as well it was not mentioned in the facilities description. However, upon my arrival and during my stay, I was informed that none of these services were actually available at the hotel.Please note that after our complaint they fixed the booking page accordingly to services that they are actually available to the facility. This discrepancy between the advertised services and the actual offerings significantly impacted my expectations and overall experience and review. The misleading information in the hotel description led to a disappointing stay.Hotel is blaming booking for misleading and booking is blaming hotel, but the end of the story is that we paid 1069€ for nothing, we were not offered a compensation if not a plate of fruits and the possibility to go to the main city (30’minutes of car away) in the other main hotel, to get those services which is clearly not a solution good enough for us since we chose the hotel over others for location and services. At the same time, needs to mention as well, as good will my friends, for the same issue received a 15% off from booking as Good will for the issue caused and I was left with nothing.

Good location and slope and ski rental on the property. I hurt my ankle in ski and the staff was very helpful and nice.

There was problems with misleading information about the property on Booking.com that wasn’t true when we arrived at the hotel, like hairdressers, manicure, no Turkish bath and sauna is separate from gender. The menu in restaurant can become very repetitive after a couple of days.
