Pros +
- Giuseppe was very helpful.
- Nice staff, comfy beds, good gym available 24/7, location quiet which was important for us
- Quiet property and nice beds.
Cons -
- Carpet and walls are disgusting, stained, and worn out and there were even ants and other insects in the room! I booked mainly for the pool and spa but they were both closed the whole time! Breakfast overpriced and mediocre. Nothing in walking distance.
- Outdated rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast cold. As for Italy it was very good but comparing to normal Breakfast options I'd say improvement needed.
- The bathrooms are old, look dirty and the worst water pressure in shower heads. Taking a shower with weak water pressure and water temperature was a nightmare.

Great views from our room! Fantastic, we love the Sicilian sea
Hmm, nothing much to complain about. Bit far from Catania city center but that’s how u can enjoy unblocked ocean views ?
staff very helpful. we were happy to be able to charge our electric car. bedroom for disabled person very comfortable. We had a great stay, thank you
Breakfast was much better (and a greater variety) than most US hotel standard fare. Bar was open for extended periods with a wide variety of drinks available. Rooms were nice. Front desk staff were very helpful.
Halls were not vacuumed. Bar "food" limited. Common area was dated. Pigeons were also patrons of the outside dining area and had to be chased from tables where customers had gone to refill their drinks, etc.
perfect breakfast, nice bar, nice staff
Location. Great bar and very good restaurant.
Charged parking and hallways needed to be vacuumed. Shared balcony. Put up a privacy screen, like on a cruise ship.
Perfect, great staff.. meal selection was great, not crowded and easy to get around.
Maybe the coffee, the machine makes a good coffee but not great.
The hotel was great. For example, many pilots and flight attendants were checking in and out. Great location. Unexpectedly, we had dinner at the hotel the first night. I had linguini and clams and it was the best linguini and clams I had (and I had this dish at 7 different restaurants in Sicily! LOL) The food and restaurant manager were top notch.
Clean room and kind check in counter
Nowhere to go near hotel (by walking)
Great facilities, a lovely pool and close to Catania airport. Just what we needed for the last night of our stay in Sicily. Thank you to Leonardo for checking us in and out so promptly and professionally. Also, thank you to Salvo for drinks and cocktails at the bar.
Food in the hotel was average compared to where else we ate in Sicily.
Pool area was nice. Clean room with comfortable bed.
Dinner was pretty poor. I've eaten better burgers in McDonald's for a fraction of the cost
The deck and the staff in the pool area were nice. In general, the staff were helpful. The hotel is full of art pieces and it is close to the beach. The breakfast was ok, too.
This hotel seemed a little bit old, especially the bathtub equipment and the air conditioner.
It is great location and has good parking. The staff is amazing.
It needs some refurbishment.
I lost one night as did not find ship to areive and coukd not cancel one night
Well maintained and clean hotel. Has a lovely breakfast. Nice area with an ocean view
Restaurant is a bit expensive and not much choice
The hotel needs a big refurbishment, many things falling apart or stained and damaged in the room. Breakfast quality has gone down drastically. Cleaners went through our personal stuff eventhough they were closed in the wardrobe. Rooms were too hot, couldnt sleep due to heat. Acs dont work. Towels were changed but rooms not done up. Was a returning customer for a number of years. Will defined not return.
Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not What You’d Expect from a Sheraton
I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at the Four Points by Sheraton Catania was far from what I would expect from a Marriott-affiliated property.First, be aware that parking is not included—it’s available, but it’s quite expensive. Same goes for breakfast. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected at least one of those to be part of the package. When I first checked into my room, I was immediately met with a swarm of flies and mosquitoes. Within just a few hours, I had to request a new room because it was unbearable. Although the staff moved me, I was already itching from the previous room, and the new one wasn’t much better. The air conditioning barely worked, and it felt stuffy and uncomfortable throughout the night. The pool was closed for the season (which would have been nice to know in advance), and the so-called fitness center was basically just three treadmills jammed into a small space. It’s misleading to call it a gym.All in all, this didn’t feel like a Sheraton at all—more like a worn-out roadside hotel trying to charge luxury prices. I checked out early and wouldn’t stay here again. Definitely not up to Marriott standards.
Breakfast was really good as well as the restaurant for dinner. Staff were super friendly and the hotel is in a beautiful location.
Public transportation is not super accessible, with buses running a couple of times an hour only, so it's best to either have a car (parking is paid) or take a taxi.
