Friendly and helpful staff, pool, views over the Ionian Sea, breakfast buffet, pool bar, free parking.

Parking got crowded but was manageable.

The room was big and had a nice view of the pool and the ocean. The breakfast was great. This is a great option if you would like to relax and stay away from the business of downtown Catania.

There are a few eating options within walking distance, which are reachable through a narrow side street.

We chose this accommodation as we wanted a quiet location convenient to the airport on our last night in Sicily. The pool area and pool bar provided a beautiful and relaxing setting . Did not partake in the breakfast but ate at a very good restaurant on the water a short walk away.Clean and comfortable and spacious rooms but the décor is a bit dated.Parking lot was free but is actually a short walk from accommodation.

It is situated near the sea and not far from the Catania and airport. Personnel are very friendly and healthful

It’s rather old. Very strong soundproofing from other rooms and corridors. The pillows are not comfortable for me. Coffee and breakfast itself are not good.

View and peaceful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent! Lived the room with corner view and comfy bed—I have lower back issues.

Potentially awesome with the sea view they have from the pool area.

I booked a sea view room and the sea was just barely visible on a very far corner from the window. The room is sold as triple room, but is very small. The sofa-bed was terribly uncomfortable, but the main mattress wasn’t much better. Literally just the space for the two beds and walk between them. We paid 240 euros for one night, checking in at 5pm. We returned to our room at 10pm, with a big party going and super loud music that despite windows closed and tick curtains, we could hear as if it was playing in the next room. I don’t get how you can allow this events in a hotel when there is no proper sound insulation. Furthermore, they wanted an extra 100 euros for late checkout (3pm). The hotel could be very nice, but is old and would need some refurbishment. Breakfast was quite weird, no table service and coffee only from a typical machine you can find in a petrol station in the uk, which means really bad coffee. Not having real espresso in such hotel, in sicily, should be almost illegal. Additionally, poor choice of options, plenty of pastries, with too many healthier options.

Large hotel with confusing routes inside.

Beautifully situated on the rocky shoreline, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Catania to enjoy the peace and tranquility, close enough to get into town by train or taxi

Lovely hotel right on the sea. It has its own access to the water and it offers comfortable chairs and beach umbrellas. The hotel also boasts a huge salt water pool. The ambiance is very pleasant, the staff extremely helpful and proactive. The restaurant serves great food, in particular fish.

Nothing. Everything was great

The location is perfectly situated 30 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from the city center of Catania. We traveled all over Sicily for 12 days and spent our last two days at the hotel relaxing. We reserved lounge chairs on the rocks by the sea. It was heavenly. Each seat 15 euros. Well worth the price. Reserve one day in advance with lifeguard on the rocks by chairs. The staff in the hotel were kind and helpful. We ate one dinner in the hotel dining room. It was a little pricey. Tiny portions. The most delicious desserts on the trolley.The pool bar served delicious salads and sandwiches worth the price. The second evening we went to the city of Catania to eat. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was huge. We swam laps. I would love to come back to this hotel. The grounds of the hotel were impeccably clean. It was paradise for me and my two children. We didn’t want to leave.

We loved everything. The hotel may be a bit dated. But that adds to the charm. It was down to earth and maintained up to standards. If you are a spoiled character from the White Lotus nothing will ever be good enough. This place is perfect.

The facility is really good, you have everything you need for a great vacation. The reception staff were really helpful and kind. The pool bar is great and the breakfast also.

All the restaurant staff, especially in the evening, were very rude towards the guests who are not Italians. You can feel the difference in their attitude, and it was very frustrating. We even avoided eating there because of that. Also, the evening menu is not good. Too little options are too specific.

AVOID IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HOLIDAY SPOT

***AVOID- DON'T BE FOOLED THAT IT IS A 4* UNSURE HOW THIS IS A 4 STAR!! ***1) Service- I'm unsure if this is not a thing in Sicily perhaps, but as my partner dropped me to the entrance with the bags so he could park the car, I was evidently struggling with 2 hand luggage's and 2 suitcases and as I got through the swivel doors there were 2 male staff members stood at the reception desk staring in the direction of the doors I was trying to come through. So much for offering a helping hand to a paying customer right?2) Beach sun beds- After speaking with 1 life guide to collect our towels, we made our way down to the beach to go in the water, passing another life guard sat half way down the stairs. We then get situated on 2 beach sun beds and within 5 minutes of getting comfortable we're approached by a 3rd life guard who says the sunbeds on the beach costs $15 per sunbed. The beach is part of the hotel no? And is advertised on booking.com and trip advisor. Outrageous.3) Breakfast- SHOCKINGLY RUBBISH. It's set up like a school party buffet, horrible selection, flies on everything, coffee from a machine, 2 x fried eggs $10, omelette $10. If you are already serving scrambled eggs, why are we paying more for eggs made a different way. We were that unimpressed with the breakfast we opted to get up and out early to buy breakfast outside of the hotel. Disgusting.4) Mini bar- Overpriced tat. Absolute rip offs.5) Room- The ONLY positive I can give the room is that we slept really well every night, but I think it was because we were so busy during the day times that it didn't matter where we slept quite frankly. Although, anytime we opened the window to get some air in, there was a rancid smell in the air.This hotel is 100000% aimed at corporate people and 1 night business trips, DO NOT book this if you are going for a holiday. I hope my review reaches anyone who is looking to book this as a holiday and hopefully stops them.

Good location, parking spot into the area of hotel

Very poor breakfast !!! Each day the same... Very poor choice of vegetables - not fresh lettuce and cherry tomatoes(not always washed well), very poor choice of cheeses and not delicious. I don't recommend to eat lunch - very expensive, just go to restaurants outside. Service is also not match 4 stars (my rating 3 stars only) and I visited very many hotels in Europe so I can appreciate a quality of service of 4 star hotel. Access to the sea to swim is only from 9 AM. And unpleasant surprise is beds on area of sea swimming. After I tried to use beach bed I asked to pay 5 Euro for each beach bed. I want to pay attention that area of access to sea swimming is belongs to hotel so it is extra payment you need to know about it. I pay enough for my room (not cheap) and I think demand to pay extra for beach bed is unacceptable.

The staff at the reception, cleaning staff and staff at breakfast were exceptionally friendly and of great service. Special thanks to Alma at the reception and Margerita at breakfast. Please pass on our gratefulness to the whole team. Thank you very much for making our vacation so comfortable and wonderful.

The property was beautiful though a bit old, but it did give it some charm !

Unfortunately we went during the « winter » season (end April) hence most of the facilities were unavailable (pool, spa…).

Great location with lovely views.Friendly cleaning staff and some helpful receptionists.

Air con didn't work in the room. One of the receptionists was quite rude, and breakfast wasn't replenished, so on busy mornings, most food was gone by 8am.

Very good

breakfasts were monotonous, the same every day. Limited choice, in an Italian hotel I expected Italian cold cuts and cheeses. Staff focused on serving Italian customers. I saw that waiters brought cappuccino to the tables at the guests' request, and we were shown a coffee machine.
