Sunset Beach Resort for Entertainment

The distance from the beach is excellent . Very close 10steps you are on the beach from the cabanas .

The cleanliness and maintenance of the water park (water and slides) . This needs immediate attention

Demanding a 1,000 riyal deposit even without a receipt..! The lighting inside the rooms is insufficient, men are not allowed to enter and use the aqua park

Facilities, access to town, helpful staff

Room maintenance could be a bit better however the staff is very attentive to cleanliness

Nice location, nice reception, and privacy of the beach which is available 24 hours.

Every time we return back to the resort by our car we go through investigations until they open the gate. I think there should be a system for that such as using the cabana door access to enter or any other way, however the security were too polite.

Location and facility was good but not value for money. The pools was normal and no proper facilities available. The breakfast was totally disaster and highly not recommended with breakfast because it was not buffet and very limited option and limited serving breakfast offered.

The reception employee requested 1000 SAR as an insurance to be returned back when check out , this has never happened to me in any other resorts neither hotel specifically for a short term stay !! I surprised when I found this that the aqua park is only limited to Females during every Friday , that was not notified earlier before I do the booking .Why do we need to get a gate permit from reception when we have the room card ?!

It was shining clean and the room was by the sea. Very good view.

There were mosquitoes in the patio. I think they need to do something to fight mosquitoes. We couldn't stay outside at night.The food was acceptable as taste but really not good for the price.

The bedding, the mattress, the pillows were so bad and not confort at all and made my back pain!and the noise of the AC was also bad.

Food being offered at restaurants was good.

The rating mentioned is 5 stars but at best it is a 3 star property.Out dated furniture and small rooms.There were ants on our doors entrance.I paid for 2 nights but checked out after 1 night itself.The place need serious renovation!

the rooms are very olds, overall furniture are below the standard. poor lights, the rooms need renovation and put lights. they are totally uncomfortable. the beds are horrible

The location, the ambiance and the cabana by the beach is good. The private beach is clean and the water is clear as well.

There was no guide to the services available for guests in the place, we did not know where was the bowling center, the spa, the restaurants. There was no clear signage or even a booklet listing the services and locations for each facility.

Location , rooms are renovated , much better than last visit. Clean resort

No food delivery allowed via hunger station and careem and inside food is super costly.

The beach view outside my veranda/cabana. The Pearl Spa— lovely, lovely lady’s-only pool (indoor and out—though outside is not heated), jacuzzi,workout rooms and the best hot stone/deep tissue massage with their Balinese therapist.

1. Lack of welcoming and friendly staff. They just stared at me when I arrived. No “Marhaba” ?2. Lack of professionalism. The front desk came looking for me at the restaurant and interrupted my dinner with a visiting friend (whom they originally allow entrance — “ this is a privately owned property”) and insisted payment. (I had paid prior via Booking.com)3. False advertising: this is not a “resort”! but rather a dreary, dark cabana on a lovely piece of property… but no real amenities of a “resort”. Cant order coffee until 8 am… no food can be ordered between 11:30 and 12 noon … there are these non-hospitable rules for so many things… can’t get more than 2 bottles of water. (I had to raise a fuzz to get 4!). the shower was stuck (and evidently a known issue)

Ambience

Wasnt aware that Water sport park was closed till we arrived there, massive disappoinment. Also late night room service, house keeping missing, no one to guide through the resort.
