Riverside Hotel

The location is great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar food was beautiful, my husband and I ate in there. Both of us ordered steaks, and they were both cooked to perfection

All good. We were up there for Sligo Head of the River. Hotel very close to the rowing regatta.

The hotel location is perfect for a stay in Sligo with a fabulous walk all g the river starting right outside the front door. The staff were very friendly and professional and the room was clean and a good size

Riverside Hotel is a great place to stay in Sligo, this was my third time staying there. Its a close walk to everything in the town. Its very comfortable, clean, staff are friendly. When a room is available, this is where I try to stay.

Its expensive, and when breakfast is included, the breakfast doesn't include a nice coffee like a latte, that is extra. There is very limited parking available. Otherwise, its a lovely place to stay, and I'll likely stay there again!

Vending machines in the building stocked all essentials needed, beds were really nice, good shower. The fella with the goatee at the front desk was very personable and helpful when we arrived. Centrally located, so you can walk out and be right in the middle of the town.

Parking is limited so prepare to drive a bit further to stop your car.

Breakfast is wonderful.Quite busy on this trip, but staff were happy and quick to make sure every guest was seated,with tea/coffeeSelection of juices, fruit and croissants are always freshFried breakfast is the best ive ever had from a hotel

Usually i dont have any problems, but this trip i did have 2 very small issues.Noise from adjoining rooms and hallway (constant loud clicking - guessing its the sensor for the hall lights) - but this is in every hotelAnd the room was a little cold, with the heating control batteries being dead so i couldnt turn it up

Excellent value for money, excellent location. Staff very friendly and very helpful with location of room and parking, as I have walking difficulties myself. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Food was lovely, and room spotless

Location, staff genuinely nice and helpful and professional, both at reception and at the bar. Loved the pillow. Room was spotless so was the bathroom and the shower, very nice shower with nice hot water, comfi king size bed.There is the Abbey st car park 300m away and there is a free parking policy in the area from Saturdays 6:30pm until Mondays 8:30am which was convenient for my stay on a weekend.Overall very good value for money, I will defo stay there again next time I come over to Sligo.

The location, staff, facilities and breakfast etc.,were all great

Very very friendly and helpful staff. From the welcome on reception ( lovely man who gave us advice re parking, etc) to staff in the restaurant for dinner and at breakfast. The twin rooms we had overlooking the river were perfect. Spotlessly clean. There was a wedding reception, but we didn’t hear any noise where our rooms were, a good night’s sleep- comfy beds etc. Breakfast was great!

Lots of noise at 3 am in the corridor. Group of guests drunk and fighting with each other.....took staff ages to response and sort out the disturbance.
