- We brought my MIL away for a couple of days for her 84th birthday. We had two teens with us, my husband myself. The hotel was perfect for eveyone, pool, gym, breakfast and dinner then on both nights was excellent. Dinner was not included in the price as we had planned to eat elsewhere but we arrived on Monday evening tired so ate in the hotel. The food was so good we ended up eating there agian the second night after a busy day exploring the surroundings. the rooms were big, airy and very clean. My MIL was allocated an assessible room on the ground floor without us requesting it and this was a lovely touch. She also had a great view of Ben Bulben. The staff could nto have been nicer thoughout our stay. they were friendly, courteous and very helpful. We will definintely stay there again.

Since we are a light sleeper, on monday morning the bins collection at 5am made a noise, while in the midnight at 2am, there was a noise under our room at level 2. The pillows could be more firm.
room was spotless and very comfortable breakfast was excellent good quality produce staff were very helpful and pleasent
Leisure complex & evening meal delicious
Glasses of Red wine expensive
Beautiful,clean,great atmosphere,friendly staff,dinner was gorgeous
Breakfast was dissapointing, maybe we just arrived at the busy hour but hot buffet was almost empty when we arrived, took a while to eat as we had to wait for everything to be brought out from kitchen and then let people that were there before us eat first. Also there was one last dry piece of slice cheese left,no fresh ham or salami and 2 small bread roll left in a basket and end of bread.as we arent picky i decided to have a yogurt which i had to scooped out the bowl but American lady that made same choice as me was left there waiting for a while until someone replace that too. This isn’t meant to be nasty review just something to help to improve as we were expecting much more after an amazing dinner ,lovely spa treat and great sleep, not mentionening extremely friendly and kind receptionist.Im still giving 10/10 and cant wait to return as me and my family had an amazing time
I enjoyed the overall stay at this hotel. I had a very comfortable room, and good food was served for both my evening meal and breakfast.
A nice clean, large room. Everyone was helpful from reception, waiting staff and cleaners.
As so busy, on occasion plates of food removed before finished. This was particularly at breakfast.
Food, staff were excellent. Pool and spa treatments were excellent too
Room was colder than I like but had to leave room key in to bring it above the default of 15 degrees. The heating in the hotel foyer and bar and restaurant was not on so was cold. My wife had to get a jumper. I saw others having to do the same. Unacceptable for a hotel these days, particularly one I paid a lot of money to stay at. Also once had a refrigerator in the room but no longer there. No coffee machine in room , only a kettle and tea bags. Seems to be trying to save money by trimming off the edges everywhere. Which shows. Pity as the food and staff are excellent.
Facilities & location were n8ce.
Staff who questioned why my kids weren't wearing swimming caps despite being cleared at pool reception. Also, the wait on food at dinner time in the restaurant was very long.
Location good. Comfortable and friendly staff.
Food was average.
Super location, staff were fun and attentive, really enjoyed the leisure facilities.
Clean, well maintained, big bedrooms, adjoining room with kids
Location required a taxi for night out with kids in Sligo town, but we knew that before booking. The pool had local swimming lessons on both times we used it so a little bit cramped
The Spa was exceptional the staff were excellent Rachel and Shanice . The treatment we received were unreal .
The Hotel. children running up and down corridors until late night and and started again early morning. Staff cleaning and banging outside door from early really not a hotel id stay in again, due to this, staff were aware of this, I went out to make phone call , where the elevators were, staff were bringing down drinks to the children directed by the mum to put on floor , for you to get out of the elevator, you had to step over crisps and toys wooden blocks . This we could ignored but the running up and down the corridors when people were trying to rest after surgical appointments was not acceptable, and they were not unsupervised. Staff should have stopped this no consideration for other guests . Parents seemed to be drinking in bar and some in lobby while children ran around everywhere. Im guessing it was mid term or break time in the north or england .
Facilities were good in general. breakfast and bar was good. Leisure club/pool very good
No hot water in shower/bath
Breakfast. Pool. Foyer area.
The sofa bed. Dinner was just okay.
Great location, nice breakfast and lovely clean pool. Would definitely stay again :)
Minor issue- Shower was a little cold one evening while the boiler was being used a lot.
Fantastic location , very clean , very friendly staff
We arrived and I had booked the Queen room with a wide, open sea view, as shown in the picture. When we entered the room, what we got is shown in the attached photo: a view of the parking lot and just a small glimpse of the sea. I asked the reception and showed them my booking, and they said they were not aware of what was displayed online. They were very kind, helpful. They upgraded us to a King room. It still didn’t have a panoramic view, but it was much better than the first one. After five minutes, they called again to ask if we were okay or if we would like an even better sea view. We didn’t want to change, but we appreciated the offer.
The list is long, but the most important part is that my husband got food poisoning from the breakfast (specifically from the eggs). Let me begin.1. We went to the spa to use the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. It was not clean. Terrible. It did not feel like a proper spa environment—it felt more like, “let’s swim in the pool and then go to the sauna.” Nobody used towels under themselves, and nobody checked the facilities. The steam room stank, and there was no shower head to clean the seats—disgusting. For the jacuzzi, I asked the staff member how often it was cleaned. She was surprised by my question. I explained that we are women and more prone to infections, so I wanted to know how they maintain hygiene. She then asked if I had any infection… By the way, I am an aquacultural engineer, so you can understand why I questioned the water quality after seeing the sauna and steam room conditions.2. This is a family hotel with a lot of kids. If you are a couple, I recommend to stay away.3. We have traveled all over Ireland. Everywhere else, people are kind, cheerful, and polite, including hotel guests. Here, there was no sense of quality or kindness—just a lot of ignorance.4. And this is the worst part. At breakfast, the smoked salmon and fried eggs tasted strange to me, so I stopped eating. My husband doesn’t have a sensitive palate, and he is an American football player—he ate four eggs. None of us ate the smoked salmon. We hit the road at 09:00. Around 15:00, he started feeling unwell. He had been driving all day, so we thought he was just tired. By 16:00, when we arrived at our hotel in Dublin, he began to feel cold, then started shaking, running a fever, and experienced diarrhea and vomiting. Guess what? He didn’t eat anything else after breakfast—eggs were the only thing he ate that I didn’t. He has been in bed since then. Thankfully, no hospital was needed because I had precautionary medicine with me.
