Murphy's Hotel

The staff were so nice and the food was really good and reasonably priced

It was in a quaint little town which was closed to Galway and Sligo. It's not far away from the Wild Atlantic coast which is what was completed starting at Galway.

Staff were lovely. Great food

Shower was warm not hot

Breakfast was nice good options nd staff helpful location is good

Reception was friendly and efficient and the room, though basic, was what I needed. I couldn't make the 8am breakfast ( too late for lots of travellers) but was made a nice sandwich instead.

We booked and paid for breakfast and then told there was an issue in the kitchen which was a lie, as when we came down it was closed to revarnish the floor, a booking should not have been taken for breakfast if it wasn't available

Please refund my money for goods offered but not received,1 small double bed in the room which was like a rock,

The food we had in the evening was excellent.Breakfast was food.Sunday evening had a local band playing Irish music who were very good.Excellent value for money.

Guinness at the hotel is not as good as local pubs.

Breakfast excellent as advertised, served hot and plenty of service was excellent and friendly.

Heating system not overly hot in room but otherwise excellent.

Comfortable, warm, lovely staff, great breakfast. The town has everything you need. Great location for mountains and walking.

Ideal location

We arrived at 7:45 pm 3 adults and 2 children We were greeted by the dining room staff who showed us to the general direction of our room .. I had requested 2 double beds and one single we had 2 small children with us .. there was only one double bed& one single bed in the room .. we went down stairs for food & we were told it was now closed & the staff were walking away they kindly told us there was a chipper & an Indian nearby .. we had to ask one of our relatives to keep the 2children as clearly we all could not fit in the family room ..

I was goingbto Funeral my best friend for over 40 years I my flight was in Early my wife maild could.have a early book in time you said you would try then I emailed I was told they would try let me book in around 11.40 it was a god send I got into my hotel room.i went to sleep for 5 hours I have been very upset all week ,when I was booking out you got a young girl younger then my Daughter to say I owed 20 Euro for an Early book in I was going to my best Friend's funeral Sean Brennan it was very badly done My brothers Son is getting married in April vinwas going to recommend you to my family ,I have stayed with you many times when my friend chased been poorly it ended up with me feeling like oliver twist when he asked for more Soup ,it was a realy bad Experience 20bEuroscos nothing and the reason you asked for the money u said was the way you had to make the room ready ,you were half full there were plenty off rooms and if you asked me for 20 euros when I booked i would have paid no problem ,like I said when I got there I had a tealy bad few days emotional and to be able to jump into bed and get a sleep was a god send and realy helped me

Clean very comfortable rooms.Great breakfast.

No sitting area, no place for drink after hours,but it is December,our stay was for a big event in tow n.

We were met at reception by Paul he was a lovely man and made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable and the food was excellent.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Tobercurry full of local charm, we stayed 2 nights, had breakfast, ate dinner and had a few drinks too. Paul and his staff were top notch, looking after everything you could need. Great atmosphere for watching Rugby game and music afterwards on Saturday night.

This is a clean, comfortable, very affordable hotel in the heart of Tubbercurry. We were served a lovely breakfast too. Very good value for money.

It was cold in the dining room...need better heating perhaps? Could do with some hooks in the bathroom.

Loud loud room, dining ridiculous. What we were served was not how it was described at all. Overpriced, over rated. Booking.com should be ashamed that they contracted this room and restaurant.
