- Breakfast was good, the bar staff and reception were excellent. We didnt feel hurried
- Excellent service..very spacious and comfortable room...great restaurant and breakfast
Cons -
- It was quite warm in the room at times
- the rooms were family rooms and felt too large - ready for wheeling in sets of bunkbeds. There werent sufficient towels for 2 occupants. The front of house restaurant men, but not the women, werent very efficient and couldnt answer our questions, never mind find our booking. Our sons room had what looked like blood stains on the floor. It was dissappointing
- No air con..and windows only barely open ..room a little stuffy but not a major problem

We arrived down for Breakfeast at 10.20 on Sunday . Breakfeast was served until 11am on Sunday. We had to wait for table . Got one at 10.35. At that stage most of the Breakfeast food self service dishes were empty . No brown bread no sausages no puddings no tomatoes . No side plates available to put our toast on .We had to ask for everything. And a few items were replaced in servicing dishes.
I don’t like wasting food and understand the hotel do not want to be throwing out food. But they know how many guest that they have staying over and there should have been more food available without we having to ask for it.Its either self service or not.
Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and cook food was nice ly heated. Location was excellent, particularly close to the beach.
Couldn't fault our hotel stay.
Breakfast was well varied an comprehensive, but oh, the size of the melon pieces in the fruit salad! They were huge! Cut smaller please? Used coffee cup not cleared from room by housekeeping. Bedside light not working. Grab handle in bath getting a bit loose. Not dangerously so - yet! Drain plug in bath not closing properly. Had to leave tap running in. Or would have been quickly left with just the bubbles! Still, I enjoyed my stay and will return.
The view was a panorama of the bins in the back yard,! However appreciate some rooms have to overlook there.i wasn't there for the view so it did.t bother me.
Friendly staff nothing was too much for them food excellent location beautiful
Everything, Pillows, bed, blankets, luxury quality. I especially liked the breakfast: fresh and delicious, with a wide selection. I recommend it to everyone.
Staff are so friendly. We had a huge room . It was well decorated and comfortable.
Not aesthetically attractive from the outside. The duvet was too hot .
Property was good
I make a complaint about a male exposing himself in the Lobby/ reception area Sunday morning around 10.30 reported to reception asking to check on cameras and deal with incident report to Garda but nothing was done about it.
Scenery.
There was not enough staff on At reception. No one answering the phone at reception as you could see they were to busy.No menu or nothing to scan to see what room service you could have.Had to go down and get a menu and I was pushed for time!Lots of dirty laundry bags scattered around on corridors up to the room.
Hotel was modern clean big comfortable rooms lots of hot water. Staff were warm friendly and helpful. Excellent food choice, breakfast was very good.
Clean, staff friendly, food was good
Lovely hotel great food lovely staff spotless room great size rooms location
The beds are really comfortable but the pillows are very high and to hard not comfortable
Staff in the bar, (young bar man) was really really nice and an excellent waiter. Food was lovely, in particular the breakfast. Hotel in general was exceptionally clean. Price was great !! We will return again this year Thank you
Loved the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, The breakfast was good
The bedroom was far to hot, no heating seemed to be on, there was a fan in the wardrobe but had to remove the cover as the blade would not rotate, the bathroom was far to small, the door could not be fully opened as it hit off the toilet. Dinner in the bar on the first evening chaotic, it was not busy but staff need basic training. no problem in charging 34.00 for a bottle of wine with no opening or taste option of the wine by the waitress. The waitress was lovely however. It also took 30 mins to find the correct bottle we ordered. we were hoping to have dinner there on the second night with a friend but decided to go somewhere else (Key west in ballina with had amazing food, service at a reasonable price). The manger did come over and said here was no charge for the wine which was nice but we just wanted the bottle we ordered. We also gave him the feedback which we mentioned here.
Staff friendly and hotel was very clean
Bed was slightly uncomfortable
Great location, lovely food and lovely staff
If I was to be ultra critical, I’d say the bar area was too warm and the snooker room had no chalk for the cues. Small details but otherwise lovely
It was really spacious, the rooms were lovely and big. The staff were gentle and kind. Low key. Not in your face. The food was good. Break fast was lovely.
Gorgeous huge room with tea and coffee facilitiesToiletriesComfy bed and pillows Alll Staff friendly and helpful Food was delicious and not too expensive
Nothing really might be a bit far into town and beach
