Location, plenty of little pubs nearby

First night disco/party went on till 2am, noise was so loud even on second floor

Lovely friendly staff and a warm, quiet room with excellent facilities and an extremely comfortable bed. Really good breakfast

As with all hotels it is very bad value for a single traveller

The food was nice. Lovely Voya toiletries in the bathroom.

The hotel was soulless. The rooms lacked any type of inviting restfulness. Pillows were dreadful. When I checked in I asked the receptionist (young male) about parking facilities twice, if they were free, he categorically said no, the public car park was nothing to do with the hotel & I had to pay for overnight parking. When my friend arrived a couple of hours later she was told all she had to do was input her car registration on the keypad at the reception desk. When I went downstairs for dinner later I again asked the young man at reception & he then said, oh yes, just key in your registration number on the keypad at the reception desk. Extremely frustrating!!!

    The rooms were very good

I didn't like the bar set up. Our group was asked to give up our tables for diners, even though there was a huge restaurant area nearby. I felt we were treated unfairly.

Nice people, great location. Walking distance to the town.

Parking was confusing. Need to be clearer about validation etc

    10DebbiePosted on: 1-24-2026

Central, everything was within walking distance. Staff really nice and helpful. Easy to check in and out. Check out 12am . Lovely breakfast.

Parking . No free onsite parking. Around €20 overnight in the carpark beside hotel. But if you buy breakfast at hotel they will validate it so definitely worth staying for breakfast.

    Staff were all 10/10

Just found the bed too hard and would have loved a fridge in the room

    9SineadPosted on: 1-21-2026

Friendly staff , great food, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean

    7PaulaPosted on: 1-20-2026

See aboveThe breakfast was not good, very dry

    Location and building

Cold rooms. Asked for electric radiator which did not overly help. Centralised heating not on frequently enough. Also party hotel so very noisy until 12 noon. Gym opening hours not known properly by reception staff

    8WeinfeldPosted on: 1-18-2026

    Big comfy room

Bathroom functional and clean but in need of refurb with some cracked tiles and panelling coming away from the bathFood in restaurant was good but there were lots of large groups of families with children running feral around it for the duration.

    7MassimoPosted on: 1-17-2026

    Good

Pool opens only 830 over the weekend. I was able to use it

    8AnthonyPosted on: 1-12-2026

The hotel had a slightly old fashioned charm, which we really liked. The staff were warm and hospitable. We thought breakfast was great. We ate twice in the restaurant and once in the steakbar, all meals were really, really good.

Would have preferred a walk in shower.

    8FitzPosted on: 1-10-2026

    Nice

Breakfast in the hotel and Kellys was dirt and over priced

    8ConorPosted on: 1-10-2026

Second time we’ve stayed here. The bar, leisure centre and rooms are always clean and nice. Very obliging with a room issue which was solved very quick.

Not a huge issue but we booked one of the couples rooms and late that evening we noticed there was an awful smell coming from the shower. They hadn’t got a couples room left so they upgraded us to a junior suite which was beautiful so very obliging. One thing I thought was strange. Every table in the bar seemed to be reserved but only for food there was numerous tables with reserves signs on them but nobody ever appeared. If we wanted a drink we were told we could sit up the back. Not a huge issue just found it a bit odd that unless you were having food you couldn’t get a nice table.

    10JeanPosted on: 1-9-2026

Clean , comfy, most of staff were brilliant

One of the waiters in the bar/restaurant was a bit snotty

    5AinePosted on: 1-8-2026

Breakfast was ok. There wasn’t the Athenry granola as shown on the menu. There could have been more gluten free options

We had to wait a long time to be served our food in the evening at dinner, almost an hour I’d say. The kitchen was closed when some of us went to order dessert. Our room was too warm and had an awful view
