Hotel Casablanca

beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. I had a room with a fabulous ocean view. The hotel restaurant is also very good. Staff are very helpful.

The check-in needs to be more efficient. If there are two parties in line ahead of you checking in, be prepared to wait half an hour. My room had no facilities for hanging clothes, and no drawers, just some minimal shelving.

Room was very spacious and comfortable. Location near the beach was excellent. Staff was kind and helpful.

I LOVE Hotel Casablanca!!! This is the first time I stayed here and I definitely want to stay here again when I return to Almuñecar.1) The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable. It was decorated in a nice modern style. The mattress seemed brand new and made sleeping-in easy.2) The location is unbeatable. It is across the street from the beach. There are many, many restaurants and shops close by and everything in Almuñecar is only a short walk away. Great location.3) The staff at the hotel is exceptional. Every person that I encountered was outstanding.  They are extremely helpful, accommodating, friendly, and kind. It was a pleasure to stay at Hotel Casablanca and I would not think to stay anywhere else in Almuñecar. I highly recommend this hotel. 5 stars.

Location and design of the rooms. Also the restaurant Emiliano is amazing

The AC was not working very well however ir was not so hot. Also room needs some Maintenance and only one small Water bottle only for 2 people the whole stay

The hotel is wonderful. One thing I wish would be to take more environmental steps that they try to conserve water by suggesting clients hang their towels to do less laundry and to use shampoo and conditioner and soap dispensers so less plastic is used on water bottles

Clean, location, and affordable price for the time of the year

Not so friendly staff. They were not able to process our payment through Booking, so we ended up paying cash.

We loved our stay. The location is right by the sea. Very comfortable and clean rooms, great decor, gracious staff. All good!

Hotel is an amazing location, staff are brilliant and friendly. Particularly Pablo who checked me in and was working all weekend. Very friendly and lovely guy

The central location, views from the balcony were very good, you could even see parrots from the higher floors in the botanical garden. The beach is a 1 minute walk away as are many restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious though the shower head could be upgraded.

The staff were not particularly helpful in assisting us with car parking options. We were told underground parking were in the centre of the town even though there was a much closer one. The street parking was paid even on a Sunday and as is often the case the card payment option was not working so coins were the only way to pay. We asked the staff if we could pay for two euros with a card in exchange for coins but they said this was not possible and no alternative solution was provided by them. What annoyed me was that no urgency was given to the situation either. They told us to use ATMs but the only available ones are "Euronet" scam ones which charge you minimum 7 euro to withdraw even a tenner and the machine only accepts coins so you'd need to split up that as well. Overall our arrival was off to a bad start. The quality of the rooms and the views from the balcony however were better than advertised so we had an enjoyable stay overall.

Good situation with good staff. Breakfast choice was good.

The location is lovely, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I liked the moorish inspired decor in the communal areas and the wall tiles.

I tried the breakfast on my first morning, but I have had better for the money. I would have preferred self selection of fruit, yoghurt, cheese, croissants etc as I have had in other hotels, only requesting cooked items from a server, if desired. The coffee was good, but my toasted croissant was barely toasted, the fruit selection not for me. I understand for other people it might have been fine, but this required too much communication first thing and I prefer to select what I want.

The close proximity to everything. The restaurant provided excellent service for both breakfast and evening meal. A good choice and will certainly stay there again.

If anything, the bathroom was a bit small.

Excellent location with parking available near the hotel. Staff very helpful, rooms comfortable and clean. Very good value for money. Would certainly book the hotel when we visit the area again.

Breakfast was very good, but it would be helpful if a multi-lingual menu was available to show the many options available. The staff were very helpful with ordering but visitors with poor Spanish may not understand all the options available.

We loved our room with a balcony and a sea view. Pablo and all the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Location location location!!!

NOISEY place but got used to it. Discounting builders work as unavoidable but you are above 3 cafes so guess you better siesta at siesta time! Noisy even Sunday night near Midnight but hey we got used to it even the screeching parrots opposite in Jardine. All good with right attitude. We dont sweat the small stuff?NO molester most days cos we like to try to be green and save towels and housekeeping.

Beautiful Hotel in prime position in stunning Almunecar gorgeous room with balcony overlooking the sea view . Breakfast great value drink in hotel very reasonable and staff couldn’t do enough for will see you again !

We had coffee and croissants for breakfast, very nice. As there are no coffee making facilities in the room, my husband went to the restaurant and brought to coffees back on a tray, we sat on our balcony drinking them and enjoying the view.

Great location for sightseeing, as it was winter, the beach wasn´t of much interest to us. Nice room, a bit on the small side, but well appointed. Close to the castle, peñones, roman salt works, bird zoo, restaurants etc. Pleasant stay.

Parking was on street, but easy and free in winter. I imagine very difficult in the summer. Bed a little on the short side, and room somewhat small, but for us fine. EV charger at Mercadona worked well, 25 cents per kWh, 2 hours free parking if you buy 20 euros worth of goods.
