Ibersol Almuñecar Beach & Spa Hotel

the spa, the breakfast, the lobby, the lovely staff. the daily activities, the balcony, the location including that is surround of excellent restaurants, bars, and beaches and 5 minutes from the center, 2 minutes from the park and about 5-7 minutes from yhe castle all walking.

It’s a beach town. The hotel is old and needs improvements, but the views are so worth it.

Hotel is rundown, AC was not that great either.. the room was hot!!

We were upgraded to a suite, which was beautiful. Great place, great pool, great location! Great breakfast! The guy who managed the breakfast area was a very hard-working professional.

The air conditioning should be a lot colder.

The AC did not cool the room. If this had been summer it would have been unbearable. It’s a small thing but the bartenders at the nightly events did not know how to make a manhattan.

The kids loved the indoor play which is very conveniently placed near the restaurant, with football set up and trampoline. Indoor pool also good for this time of year (windy!).

Kids club at this time of year is basic but good to have it for three hours a day.

Would be nice to have the bar in the lobby open later. The entertainment room with bar was not great if you just wanted to have a nightcap

the sound from the room next door was all in our room every cough every laugh until 4 am in the morning, we couldnt sleep, the walls are probably thin as paperBreakfast was very crowded and noisy and taste was poor

Great location, large room, powerful shower & large bath. Variety of breakfast, friendly staff, pool & jacuzzi water temperature perfect.

It's a family hotel so entertainment is for them.

Was surprised you had to pay extra to use the Spa. We had a lovely sea view but it was noisy at night.

Both dinner and breakfast were very rich, varied and excellent. The hotel lobby is huge and very nice. We found free parking in the street jus next to the hotel. I have only nice words to say about the hotel. We stayed there in November 2024 with our 8-year old son, who also enjoyed the gaming room.

The only thing I would change are the tiles in the restaurant :DBut that's really not important anyway.

Great staff and location, rooms were spacious with nice balcony (sea view - 3rd floor). All beds were huge and reasonably comfortable. The main hall looked great, though it needs a touch of renovation (just like the rooms themselves). The Spa was alright, maybe not exactly worth the money requested - but, overall, is enjoyable. Breakfast was good and very good restaurants were nearby. The parking garage was good and spacious.

The hotel looks a bit old, rooms are missing kettles or some other extras that are generally normal for 4* hotel (like bath robes, slippers, or free towels for the Spa (2eur isn't much, but should've been a part of the Spa pricing in my opinion)).

Everything was really good , rooms were large , clean and comfortable . Public areas were also clean and comfortable. Staff were all excellent, friendly and helpful and really got into the spirit of the Halloween festivities. A good range of activities were available and both the indoor and outdoor pools were clean .Buffet meals were very good with a good choice of food for everyone. Hotel was in a good location very close to the beach and within easy reach of the town and the castle.

There was nothing to dislike .

The toilet would not fill with water. We informed reception, they said it would be fixed immediately, it wasn't. We only stayed one night but could basically not use the toilet in our room.

I requested help due to my disability, regarding parking and room location. Not much help, parking was difficult and remote. The food was very average with a poor choice and variation of food. We ordered a glass of wine with our dinner and the white wine looked and tasted like water, and the rose was shocking. The outdoor bar area was very small and cramped and not suitable for large numbers. Bland pool area. The entrance into the hotel had awkward doors almost impossible to get large suitcases through without getting trapped in the doors. Will not be going back or will not recommend Four star not!!!

The staff at check-in was very helpfull and nice.

The noice level in the breakfast room was way above the acceptable level! All children make a lot of nice but also the personnel makes a lot of noice when cleaning the tables etc. Acustic pannels needs to be installed in the sealing and on the walls etc.

We treated ourselves and booked a suite. fantastic!

Food could have been better. Salad table was good, but the freshly cooked pork I had was very tough, and pancakes were like leather
