Unfortunately alot of guests are very loud walking through the corridors in the evening.. I think does to the age of most guests they don't realize how loud they are after a few drinks

Very clean & comfortable, staff very professional & friendly. Very good selection of food. Great for parking (in the winter), very good public transport, bus stops outside hotel.

Toasters at breakfast time were unbelievably slow. Entertainment started too late in the evening for us. Children running up & down the corridor late evening a couple of nights (11.30ish)

Nice clean property with very helpful reception staff & superb bar servers. The lovely pool off season is often empty so guests can have a proper workout swim.

Nothing really apart from the Spa is shut Sunday & Monday.

Better choice of food would be nice. Have stayed at this Hotel a few times over the years, this time thought that the food choice could have been a little better.

Near to the east side of Almuñécar - we like walking over to the little coves.

Very spacious rooms, with great balcony views, lovely pool area - the staff all work so hard and are so friendly. My nan has come here many times over the years & this was my first time with her - seeing them reunite with her and treat her so well was incredible and a credit to them all :) truly amazing value for money. The food was exactly what you expect for a buffet - nothing Michelin star but perfectly edible and looked forward to it each day! Lovely little beach bars and chiringuitos nearby too.

The room was spacious, and the king size bed was HUGE and comfortable.The solarium, for the use of guests who booked Deluxe rooms, was particularly welcome. Very clean, comfortable and quiet.The hotel staff were, without exception, helpful, friendly and hard-working.

The scrum at 10 a.m. each morning (when the pool opened) to grab the best located sunbeds. Obviously, it's not the hotel's fault, and in fact, the staff would remove towels from beds if they were put there prior to that time.The buffet meals were okay but it's best to eat breakfast early, otherwise it's incredibly busy, with queues for the coffee machines and toasters. We found it amusing that, in the evening, guests would form an orderly queue for entrance to the dining room at 7.30 p.m.! Best not to eat until later when the feeding frenzy has subsided.

Food all good, pool and hotel good. The bar was good but closed early 11pm. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. All in all a very good weeks stay, I would recommend ?

The bar did not open untill 7pm and the pool bar closed at 6pm, so no bar between 6 to 7 pm. After the entertainment finished the bar closed about 11pm

The breakfast was ok but not the best.The bacon was always undercooked and very greasy. It would appear that a large catering pack was just opened and put in an oven so that only the top was actually cooked.

Nice pool and bar area. The room and associated terrace was fine. Good to have evening entertainment.

Closing the swimming pool area from 14-15 was not good. The dinner buffet was disappointing and did not meet our expectations of a good dinner meal.

Very clean, spacious, made service very good, bar staff very good, dining room staff ok, pool heated and very nice, very close to a lovely beach and chirnguito. The property was very very nice. The price of beers and spirits was exceptional, 2.20€ for a caña is excellent.

Breakfast is a disaster , where do I start? No black tea, considering the amount of English, no black tea, chinease tea is not black tea. I had to go out and buy black tea from mercadona. Toasters were far too slow, there were three toasters to start with then one was taken, it took me at least 20 minutes per day to get toast, one day I gave up because of the queues for toast. Bacon under cooked everyday, practically raw. 4 out of 5 tea cups were dirty! Fried eggs on top of each other so it became heuvos rotos! Fruit was all whole except pineapple, melon only offered in the evening.milk was always empty, sugar mixed up with coffee, lack of options in the evening, very boring plain food, but ok, you are catering for lots of people. I think my only complaint was the food. Next time I wouldn’t have breakfast there, I’d go out and have it. Just so that you are aware I’ve stayed in Helios twice and the food there is amazing, I know there’s no comparison.

Staff were very nice to us and diligent to answer any question or solve any problem. Everything was kept very clean, from rooms to pool area. The buffet supplied food with variety and quality. The fish was always fresh and delicious. The only thing I would have liked better offers was for dessert.

I didn't give this hotel a perfect classification because of its location.The beach across the street (Playa de Pozuello) looks pretty much abandoned by local authorities. The sand was dirty and sometimes the water quality seemed to represent a health hazard, such was the amount of debris and/or oily liquids floating. I would recommend going to Playa del Tesorillo or Playa de Velilla, both of them within a 5-10 minutes walk.In the surrounding there isn't much to do at night, so you end up staying at the hotel. The animation wasn't superb, but most of the times it was entertaining.
