Hotel Krynica Conference & SPA

The rooms and bathrooms were very nice, clean and modernized. Very nice parking situation. Good breakfast.

The reception staff did make some mistakes telling me about opening hours of their facilities. We were staying during New Year’s Eve, so I understand they may have been overwhelmed. The pool area is very nice, but definitely has a vintage feel already. Could use a renovation soon.

Great location, reasonable value for money. Plenty of parking available.Restaurant was not available so cannot comment on the food. Probably good stop with kids, there's a downstairs room with bar and kids area.

Bit old and tired inside. Advertised as free parking but attempted to charge me.Stayed here a few times, it can be noisy, kids running around the corridors, walls are thin so can sometimes hear other guests talking.

Where do we start? Our room was suppose to have a city or mountain view - instead we ended up with no balcony and looking at parking and bins + carpet in the room was filthy.In addition most of the hotel is under construction so scaffolding does not allow to use main path and entry forcing us to walk through dark, long and slippery driveway + we've heard drilling all the time (including our room, "quiet areas"/spa and saunas) + we were surrounded by loud children and barking dogs. Overall the whole stay was very underwhelming and after speaking to reception few times we've been told "there is not much we can do"

Location, good breakfast (high variety), supportive and nice staff, nice view from the balcony. Parking just at the hotel in acceptable price.

Cleanliness of the carpet in the room was poor - stains and its quality was in really weak condition (some guests shared with us thw same opinion). Our access card was blocked 30min before departure (room service helped us to enter the room). Rate price to stay was also too high.

I recommend this hotel, very comfortable, excellent staff, great location and very tasty & fine dining.

As we've been with dog, room was equipped in dogs bowls and dog's bed as well :) Very nice. Very nice staff as well.

Warm meals on breakfast were not really warm, unfortunatelly. Building was during kind of reconstruction, which was not annoing guests, but wasn't looking good.

Amenities

Prices, construction, and lack of communication from personnel. They left us stranded due to boom lift blocking the only way in and out of the parking lot. Also, the parking should be free and not extra charge.

- I found the reception staff unpleasant to interact with most of the time. Neutral at times.- Rooms were older than expected (and thin walls - sometimes noises coming from adjacent rooms were distracting, but it wasn't a big inconvenience.)

Center location

Check in desk inefficient, hotel breaches privacy data collecting more than necessary, rooms are old, swimming pool is small and crowdy. Hint- during the weekend park your car one street below and thus you will save 40 PLN.

Good food (breakfast).

The pool is really small (120 cm), sauna was cold. They have only one small pool, jacuzzi and 3 saunas available - it hardly can be called a 'spa'. They only fixed our heating after a few days (we asked the receptionist a few times a day). The building is rather old and they had an ongoing construction on every floor. The rooms in real life look way older than those presented in the photos. We paid for a room with a view on the mountains and received a view on the parking space. Poor value for this price.

The continental buffet breakfast offered a fair choice of charcuterie, cheese and accompaniments, there is also some hot item’s available. The regular self serve coffee machine etc.

90 steep steps to reach the reception, not suitable for less mobile guests.No hospitality offered, was unable to get a coffee mid afternoon but was told by reception I could get one in the night club. Uncomfortable beds, mattress about three inches thick. This is certainly not the level of service or quality expected of a four star hotel.

There was a "mr world" conference which was very noisy, gym/sauna overcrowded due to this, and the coordinator was pretty rude. This shouldn't discourage you from staying though as not really the fault of the hotel.

Rooms were not so clean. Radiator for towels was very dirty like it wasn't cleaned for weeks.Floor was not so clean either carpet in corners was black from dirtiness and some of the wall electrical plugs were ready to come off (room &corridor )

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice balcony with relaxing view equipped with comfortable chair and tea table. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

The main lift (the second is away from the reception and mostly useful for the spa and fitness area) is small and always busy. The size of the hotel would deserve a second one.I would also introduce one or two hours children-free in the swimming pool and spa area (after 19:00 or 20:00).

Room was very small with no privacy on the balcony while relaxing.....next door kid cries 1m away from youBeds with thin materaces falling appart. Pillows were worse than bad.....

Clean rooms, convinient beds, water pool, playground with trampoline and slide table tennis.Owners are very friendly and ready to help.20 min by walk to the center. 15 min by walk to the lift to Observation Tower (Wieza Widokowa).There are shared fridge and microwave in corridor. Cooking utensils are available. Kettle in the room.You can hear your neighbors, but there were no noisy guests during our stay, although hotel was full.

Would be great to have shared kitchen with tables and kitchen stove.

The pool and an extremely nice pool attendant was nice. Breakfast is good. The cleaning ladies are very nice too.

The elevators are in terrible shape. They take their own routes. You never know whether one will arrive or not, where will stop etc. Disaster. You choose to walk the stair however in my case with a 2 year old, can be challenging.Room entry cards tend to stop working. During 4 days stay happened to us 3 times. We saw several guests trying to enter their rooms and not getting in, to whom we advised to ask at the desk. Older couples were very confused and stressed. It can happen from time to time but srsly it was happening every day to someone at our floor.We came here in 2017 and had fantastic experience however now the metrrace of our bed was just so uncomfortable that at some point I chose to sleep at the couch.
