    Pros +

    • I booked a room in this place because of its convenience to enjoy skiing basically from the door and because of the possibility to enjoy the spa facilities. The room with the balcony had nice views on the mountain and the slopes. The check-in process went smoothly, and, although they had limited knowledge of English at the reception, the receptionist was very friendly and we managed to communicate anyway.
    • The spa was nice and some of the staff were really nice and helpful (especially in the restaurant- the reception staff a bit too busy to have time to talk)
    • The rooms are very modern and clean. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was excellent, wide selection of vegetables/fruits/meat/ styles of eggs and more.

    Cons -

    • The indoor swimming pool is rather nice, but is not exactly a quite relaxing place.
    • The room was quite basic for the price - bland and a bit tired deco, there was no lounge (a Lounge exists but it was closed), very small choice of beer for the size of hotel, only vanilla ice cream available - no other flavours. The hotel has much more potential … and a beautiful view but we would return simply for the view. It could be so much more comfortable.
    • The outside jacuzzi didn’t really look like the one from the pictures, but it still gave us nice experience, so it is fine

nice view from hotel room, very good swimming pool with indoor and great outdoor whirlpool, rich breakfast, restaurant with good cuisine, nice staff

the quality of the extra bed was not very good - suitable only for a smaller child

I loved this hotel. The staff were lovely, the food was amazing and the room was very comfortable. The entire hotel was super clean and, as a family, we had great use of the pool facilities. The free shuttle bus also made it very easy to pop into town and back.

    Nothing!

The food was lovely, so were the restaurant staff. The pool was good and we had a nice view from our room.

Very poor Wi-Fi, hardly ever available in the evenings. I wold expect a bigger room for three people and the TV was really small. Also the playground outside definitely needs improving, it was really disappointing.

The hotel staff were fantastic, very friendly and welcoming, from the receptionists, to the restaurant team and especially the cleaning staff (who were particularly helpful). The food was very good, with a wide choice of breakfast foods and excellent dinner in the restaurant. As we came to visit the mountain areas around Krynica, the location of the hotel is amazing, with some excellent (and challenging!) walks on the doorstep.

The hotel was let down - significantly - by the swimming pool/sauna area. We found it very strange that male staff always had to open/close the lockers for us, including entering the female changing rooms unannounced, which is obviously inappropriate with women/children changing. Apparently this is because guests can't be trusted to return locker keys! The main male changing room door was missing, meaning that the changing area was 'open' to those walking past in the corridor (as I found out to my embarrassment!). We were also disappointed to find that the ice machine (a key part of the sauna/steam room area) was not working, and hadn't done so for a number of years, despite still featuring on the website. One of the two showers (in the communal area) was also not working and we found a nail sticking up from one of the wooden floor-boards in the sauna (all reported to staff, but nothing changed during our time)Our main concern was that a number of male guests (on separate days) undressed to use the communal showers, in full view of those using the sauna. When we mentioned this to the male staff, we were met with a rude reply, along the lines that it's better to use saunas naked! Whilst this might be true, it's not acceptable for guests to shower naked in an open/communal area, potentially in front of women/children.Overall, we were very disappointed by the 'basen' area and this marred our stay at what would otherwise be an excellent hotel/location.

Tha facilities, the staff, the spa and the food were fantastic.

Nice quiet location with a good restaurant

Not within easy walking distance of the town center

Sauna culture is not good, people entering sauna with swimming suits on and even with slippers. Comon. No drinking water stand near sauna. No cold water pool for cooling.

The beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly,

The hotel but it did not meet expectations, it needs a bit of TLC and maintenance in places, also I would say that some of the cleaning is not up to 4 star standard. The hotel is more geared to families than a relaxing weekend away as the pool and spa (sauna, jacuzzi and steam room) are all in one location, not exactly a place to relax with kids everywhere and music playing. Only one of the showers in the spa works, the water fountain is out of action and on steam room was not working at the end of our stay (lack of maintenance). For a 4 star hotel the breakfast is very average.

    Good food and nice room

Very dirty swimming pool especially small one for children. Dark small things in it

We really enjoyed the swimming pool, massages and the restaurant. The staff at SPA (both swimming pool & massages) is amazing and the waiters in the restaurant are just..exceptional! We have never met this type of service before. The restaurant staff deserves 100/10. Especially the lady who brought pizza and salad (pizza was so delicious with garlic sauce) and the man who served us in very friendly and welcome manner - joking with us during our dinner. Without these two individuals the overall experience would be have been much worse.

The room was not one of the best for sure. The bathrobes were old and without logo (other guests had this), no slippers (but there were at SPA), no tea bags, sugar, spoons (but there were tea cups and kettle) and what was more frustrating - dirty bed sheet (blood spots and hair)
