Everything was wonderful about this hotel

It's a beautiful hotel situated in the heart of Velez-Malaga. Maria, the owner, is lovely and very helpful.

we liked the beautiful old building, the fine big bedroom en suite ,& the lovely old town of Velez

Set down parking only was possible at the hotel .

There was nothing to dislike

Wonderful location and beautiful building centred on a courtyard. Lots of character and very well-run.

Only down side was the cockerels very early in the morning - but obviously this was not the hotel's fault!

Owner was friendly and helpful. Cosy hotel just few blocks from high street. Spacious room with all needed equipment’s / features. Badroom modern - recently renovated.

if you are lucky, you can get a parking place for your vehicle alongside the street. At neighborhood cock was making noise all the time.

I went to stay at the Palacio Blanco with three friends for work. It is honestly the most peaceful tranquil hotel I have ever stayed at. Maria and the staff are fantastic. The rooms are lovely and clean. Valez Malaga is a lovely village and only ten minutes away from Torres del Mar a lovely town. If you want a relaxing few days in a hotel with a fantastic courtyard and plunge pool upstairs this small exclusive boutique hotel is simply perfect. Thanks Maria Scott x

Everything especially the peaceful surroundings.

This is a lovely building that has been sympathetically restored. The inner courtyard is really nice and the owner is a very nice lady.Rooms are quite individual.Roof terrace is also a nice area to sunbathe (although still noisy due to chickens!)

I've stayed here a few times before, but on this occasion found it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. The rooms at the front (nos.3&4) are very close to a road so you do get noise from the occasional car/truck, but worse was the fact that neighbours have chickens that crow loudly, constantly from 3-30am ALL DAY until after 9-00pm making it almost impossible to get any uninterrupted sleep. It's a real shame.I think coffee making facilities in the room might be nice and maybe nicer toiletries could be provided in the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel, we had a very warm welcome from Maria who looked after us and gave us lots of excellent tips for our visits. Delightful!

Very welcoming host Maria. We were the only guests as it was out of season but she still made every effort to ensure our comfort. Lovely roof terrace to relax on after our day of cycling.

It was so beautiful and stylish house, full of the spirit of flamenco. The owner was very, very kind and helpful, breakfast perfect, spacious room with modern and large bathroom. Couldn't wish more.Thank you!

Host, Maria, was exceptional - she was attentive to our needs and had many wonderful suggestions for our adventure! I had the privilege of having coffee with her in the morning - she is a beautiful soul ❤️ Wish we could have spent more time there. I would definitely recommend Hotel Palacio to all!

I liked everything. The architecture of the hotel, the interior, the furniture, the attitude of the personnel and the manager Maria Torres. She is an amazing woman and made me feel like home.

There was nothing bad.

We did not have breakfast as had not realised it was not included. The beds were comfy. Maria very helpful. The sun terrace nice……the pool refreshing.

We would have preferred a room at the back as traffic is loud on the cobbles, and not effective double-glazing. Internet was sporadic for iPad.

New and clean

Nobody can speak or understand english properly. Surely there needs to be 1-2 people that are fluent.I got food poising at the swimming pool bar and when trying to tell them so that they stop serving the prawns nobody understood what I meant. Same for room service, they could not understand the order even though it was said as per the menu. For a 5 star you should at least have a few english speakers around

The whole building is charming, it looks like a little Parador. The pool on the roof is simply fantastic, it's very very small but we loved refreshing there while looking at the wonderful view of Vélez.

Unfortunately our room was in the ground floor and there was some noise as you could hear conversations of the people walking in the street right outside the window (very few people though, as it is a quiet street).

Relaxing overnight stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Beautiful rooms, great style and very clean, all overlooking a central courtyard.Facilities were great, loved the plunge pool on the roof and the "honesty bar" was very well appreciated. Its nice to feel trusted.Maria is a great host and looking forward to a longer stay in the future.Would highly recommend if you're looking for a chilled experience.

Nothing to not like, I couldn't fault Maria on anything.

The hotel was spotless, the rooms and building well maintained. Ideal for the purpose of our visit. The rooftop pool is small but perfect for cooling off in the sun. The honesty bar is very well stocked.

No Wi-Fi in the rooms but an excellent connection in the courtyard area.

Beautiful room , views from the terrace , extremely comfortable beds and superb air conditioning
