Hotel Dila

The room was clean and comfortable. The check in however was poor. We waited at least 20 minutes for someone to arrive. We tried contacting them through email and rang the bell at the front door. When someone did arrive they didn't apologize or offer any reason why they left us waiting for so long.

Basic but large room with three singles. Everything was gleaming clean. Staff were warm and welcoming despite arriving at 3AM. Exceptional helpful. The weather was cold at night and the room was warm. En suite had a great shower and lots of hot water. Soap towels etc were plentiful. Had a fridge but no kettle, but we knew this before we arrived and brought one. The lift was great for my mum as we were on the third floor. Close to cafes and restaurants, not far from the town centre. Velez is gorgeous. A good blend of old and new.

No breakfast at the hotel, which wasn't a problem. Location perfect. Room very clean, and ideal for our requirements.

It was a great tourist class hotel. Easy access to public transportation. Close to markets and eateries.

Could have used more pillows on the bed, but that's just a personal preference. The water pressure was so strong that it sprayed onto the floor and had to use my extra towel to clean up the mess. But none of these are actual problems.

Good location and decent size room.

There was a smoke smell in the room. Pillows really uncomfortable.

There was no parking available. The street was very busy and noisy, and there were no quality restaurants near by.

Perfect location, great restaurant across the street. Hotel is spotless and the staff very friendly. Great value for money. It's basic accommodation, but excellent standard.

Parking is hard to find, thought I had reserved parking with the hotel but apparently not. After driving around in circles twice, we finally found a space around the corner.

it’s in a great location. we had a room at the front with a little balcony. quite noisy at night but that’s to be expected in the middle of a big town. very clean. good bed. we would stay again definitely

The hotel is located in a good place in the small town. Close to supermarkets and main plaza. The room was very clean and smell fresh upon arrival. The TV channels were good!

Unfortunately we don't like the pillows. The long traditional Spanish pillow. Would be good to have the individual pillows to help with back support during reading.

Exceptionalyl clean hotel very pleasant smell. Location good on street parking nearby.Room modern but basic.

Spend one night. Arrived so late, it was 1 AM. The check-in was fast, the receptionist was so friendly ( it was 1AM !!!!) the room was so clean and comfortable. We loved that small terrace above the street. Check ot early morning and the same receptionist was fresh and friendly with a smile on her face! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

No drinking glasses

The proprietor and his cleaning staff were very nice and friendly/helpful The Hotel was spotless, each bedroom had its own colour variation, our bedroom had a Juliet balcony overlooking the roundabout fountain with far reaching views on a clear day. Local to cafe bars and restaurants.

We knew when we booked that the hotel did not do breakfast dinner or evening meal, I am assuming by doing this the proprietor can reduce his costs which are very reasonable, However the owner as leaflets for local fast food so I am assuming it would be okay to eat within your bedroom area

Location, while central, is right at a busy roundabout/intersection....and so - given that our room was at the front of the hotel - it was a little loud at night.

Slow internet, no food or bar available

My room was fresh and clean. It had a fridge and air-conditioning. I liked the location and the short-stay parking was really helpful. The staff were friendly and efficient.

The room I stayed in had a ceiling light but not a lamp so it was a bit stark at night.The vending machine had some instructions about types of coins to use (I think) but this was only in Spanish.

The room was very clean which made me feel safe with all covid measures being taken. The property itself was also very clean and with signs and hand gel readily available.

There was construction going on, in the future a heads up would be greatly appreciated. That way the guest can plan and not be surprised by a noisy morning.

Staff was very helpful.
