    • Very nice breakfast with dining room. Also another room with tables and drink cooler. Great place to have a drink and play cards.
    • The location
    • Friendly, quiet hotel ideal for a stop on the way down to Italy. Parking in the courtyard if you're early enough, and a great local restaurant 5 minutes away. One for the future.

    Cons -

    • Bed was a little hard for my preference.
    • The noise, slamming doors, vacuuming at 6am.
    • The room had a bit of damp feeling and perhaps another pillow would have been nice.

For a 1 night trip to the area it was okay. Nice staff and good breakfast. The room was a bit dated, but spacious.

The room had a bit of damp feeling and perhaps another pillow would have been nice.

Fantastic breakfast - loved all the German food while we were there. Great location for the Wine University and there was a couple of lovely places to eat at nearby with great wine! I loved the room you could use as a communal area with the drinks honesty box.

I had a big case to get up the stairs (but it's my fault for bringing an unwieldy case! WiFi was a little intermittent in the room but great in the communal area!

Great customer care. Quaint area and cute hotel. Breakfast was yummy and had lots of options. Free parking, but some was down the road (less than a block). Rooms had air conditioning!!!

Beds were a bit too firm for my liking. Like most of Germany, the hotel is not very disability-friendly.

Very close to where we needed to be for a conference but the location was also beautiful! Breakfast was great - lots of choice and there was a nice area to relax in in the evening. The hosts were very friendly and patient with my terrible German.

It was a little bit dated but it was extremely clean.

    Late arrival

Comfortable and clean room. I was there only one night and I feel it costs exactly what it offers. It was also quit and I felt nice in the room.

I prefer a bit warmer blankets considering the fact that this winter everybody are trying to save some energy and do not heat the rooms enough. The stuff was very nice, but also looked very complicated to solve some simple problems.

Lady on reception was very kind and responsive. Rooms are clean and well furnished. The location is also great.

Friendly and helpful desk employees and clean room. Clean and large bathroom. Breakfast was okay, not exceptional, but a bit pricy. Coffee in abundance. A selfservice bar available in the main building.

Very noisy room (room 32), with people, from what I saw employees, slamming the frontdoor just beneath us in the morning from 7.00 hrs every few instances. Room was on a busy and noisy street too. One roller shutter wasn't working, which could have shut the street noise out.

The staff is very friendly and the location is easily accessible by car or public transport. The train station is just a few minutes away, there's a Rewe with a bakery in the vicinity.

The beds are really uncomfortable as the two single mattresses we had are very soft and extremely bouncy. Even sitting on the edge of the bed felt uncomfortable, imagine sleeping.Unfortunately, that was not the worst. Our room had an incredibly bad smell of sweat, humidity and mold in it. Imagine a football locker room after a match where all players wore sweat drenched which were lying in a plastic bag for a week while still wet. The smell got onto all our clothes and when we got home we had to wash everything, even the clean clothes and put out our bag to air for two days. It wasn't smelly in the bathroom, just in the room and in the hallway in front of the room. Also, the WiFi is pretty bad unless you are in the area of the reception. I can't recommend this place to anyone and it's not worth 112e a night for me
