STADT HOTEL Iserlohn

The location to Iserlohn town center is a great 2 minutes walk to bars, shops, and restaurants and it has it's own car parking garage at a small cost. The staff speak English and are so nice and obliging. The restaurant meals are superb and not expensive. I would certainly stay there again next time I'm in Germany.

This is not a moan but there is no Aircon in the room we were in, also no coffee, and tea making facility. But just ask one of the staff for a kettle, or a fan and they will get you one, also as many of those small milks as you want, so no big deal just ask. I would recommend taking your own tea bags, and coffee sachets. But a couple of minutes walk is a big supermarket called Kaufland and they have everything you need. Also the famous Asbeck brandy at €13.99 a bottle a fraction of the price that a tourist shops will charge. I hope this helps all you travelers.

Located in the middle of the town with its dedicated pedestrian zone, great selection of shops and eatery's.Included breakfast was superb and the staff extremely helpful. Lots to see, visit and do in the area.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, you had a very good selection at breakfast, very good service, and very clean, nothing too much trouble, my mother was looked after, thanks Also very good location for town centre

My mothers room was super and ideal, nice big bathroom lovely and clean but our room had a view of a brick wall, carpet needed replacing and decorating was needed, but clean and tidy but I think they will be renovating the property in the future

Always come to iserlohn for schutzenfest ex forces. from corunna, like to visit old friends and have afew beers.

The town is a little bear with shops and what they have are all takeaway shops, phone and nails very little else and beggars always wanting money, iserlohn was never like this was vibrant town at nights now not alot goes on and very few restraunts, i am not a kabab person.

The restaurant was very nice, great breakfast

The elevator only goes to the 3rd floor. If you are on the 4th, you have to carry your luggage. No AC and the parking garage just suited for matchbox cars.

Since hotel is on the roadside, there are vehicle sounds that can be heard. The arrangement by hotel was good

Had to really stretch across to switch on/off bed light at the wall. Minimal furniture. Feels like bedrooms need updating.Massive hand basin reduces access to shower. No non slip mat in shower.Weather was extremely hot and no air conditioning, but reception kindly gave me a fan.

The property is old when I arrive there a book to double room for family. I have spoken to them. If they have one room for a family, they said yes, and the price was different.€120 I have paid €200 on Booking.com. They told me I will pay them in the morning and I said okay when I went in the reception in the morning they refused me to pay them direct because they have talking the payment through Booking.com €200 so they refuse to refund the difference without agree at the reception €120 which I have spoken to them, and the owner was from KOSOVA including staff, so they think they’re above the law, which is a shame which I will never go back there and I will leave another review on Google. It’s not about the money is the way they have light and they treat us. Do you think they are in KOSOVA they are not.

Great location. Nice terrace for breakfast. Staff were very friendly.

Very dated in both rooms. Pillows were flat. Shower hose in our room disconnected when at full power. No air con and it was exceptionally hot the weekend we stayed. We asked for interconnecting rooms but this wasn’t provided although it wasn’t too much of an issue but I would have liked to know before arrival. My sons room looked very outdated and had old stains on the headboard.

Oustanding, helpfull & very friendly staff all hours of the day & night, fantastic location, very clean,super nice bar ,can't wait to go back

The hotel is in a good location and there are some good restaurants close by.

It was pretty warm weather when we stayed at this hotel which doesn't have air-conditioning. So it was a pretty poor nights sleep.I had pre-paid this hotel through Booking.com but the hotel said next morning they had not recieved the payment. Therefore I was obliged to pay again. Not at all what I was expecting.

The Property is only a few minutes from the Station, the rooms are spacious, the bed was comfortable. Anouk was an amazing member of staff, she went on above and beyond her role, by trying to figure out why our rooms TV was not working, she got a whole new remote control to try and get the TV, toswitch to live channels. So Vielen Dank Anouk :) The Frühstück service was excellent too, plenty of variety, and super friendly Breakfast service staff.

Lack of additional Pillows, as only one Pillow per person, and no extra in reserve was not nice, but not the end of the world. And understanding the Hotel was Booked up, as it was Pentecost weekend. And the TV not working, was frustrating, but again not the end of the world again.

Breakfast was good

Double bed was 2 mattresses. Uncomfortable gap in between
