nice location, easy parking, friendly staff

something wrong with the toilet in my room, it smelled. Also the water in the basin did not empty. Nothing that impacted my sexpereince to much though

Spacious, rather clean, quiet.

Can't control heating, bedsheets were too short, pillows were old, way too big and full of big crumbly chunks of foam, tap was fidgetty, the floor was plastic and the corridor smelled a lot like plastic. A huge TV was plated in the floor right in front of the bed, felt a bit likebeing in a Black Mirror episode. Breakfast was decent but very little choice in charcuterie (only bacon), in eggs (only dry scrumbled eggs) and only croissants, no decent frsh bread or any other viennoiserie or cake. They put a lot of effort into seeming "different", but for the price (180 per night) it definetly didn't exceed bare minum and didn't cover sme basics.

The hotel was modern and clean and the staff was friendly. The location was perfect.

The bed is next to the table and the table is not covered by soft materials. It is easy for a child to hurt the head. Not friendly to child in this case. The cleaning woman did not put new tissues when it was finished on the hands washing place.

One To Avoid

One to avoid. Bedroom: Dark, many tripping hazards, huge (unmovable) TV blocks the window, bed really uncomfortable, bathroom light switches itself off after 2 minutes (like in the middle of a shower!), the toilet flush was faulty, the black toilet and basin showed dirt and stains (not good), the minibar not restocked with soft drinks, sockets for charging devices 3-4 metres from the bed. Restaurant: Four hours to complete dinner, tiny portions. Reception: no bottled water available to take to the room. Lift: buttons to select the floor almost invisible. Common areas: need cleaning. Overall: the ‘carbon’ theme dominates and makes the hotel dark and gloomy. Verdict: The hotel needs a complete rethink and a redesign.

Friendly receptionist on night shift. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was decent.

Noisy kids running in the halls at night. No instructions on how to turn on the lights in the room (it was pitch black when the door opened and I had to use my phone torchlight). Showerhead did not work, could only route water to the hand held hose. Airco takes an hour to work (its very silent and hard to detect an effect, initially).

Staff were excellent, location great, decor and facilities excellent

Nothing to dislike, one observation, the power outlet in my room was under the desk around a metre from the bed. Luckily I have an extended phone charger but as many people like to read e devices or have their devices charging next to them. It would be good to move the power outlet and or maybe change to a pop up power outlet just behind the bed.

Location, comfy beds, interesting design of room, nice breakfast (and being able to make fresh orange juice a nice bonus). Friendly staff.

1. Room soooo dark, even with all the lights on2. Things a bit tired. Switch by the bed didn’t work. Drapery hanging off hooks. Stains on flooring. Appears generally clean however3. Restaurant closed during our stay4. Loud music during breakfast (food was very good ) was jarring 5. Very hot in bedroom even with turning down temp to lowest.

I stayed few times. Very nice breakfast and inviting glas of champagne was very positive.

Rooms are often dirty with damaged furniture. Last visit few days ago forgot my swimming shorts. I asked if it was found and the answer was negative.

There were many traces of limescale in the bathroom on the bath and tap and the drain did not drain properly. There were many stains on the floor which probably may not come off.

Room is cold, no one clean the room. Some old bear bootles sfay in the room when we arive.
