    Cons -

    • can't think of something that is worth mentioning here, we really had a very nice time
    • The spa area was much smaller than expected, with a tiny pool, a small sauna, and a small steam room. Also there were open showers, not much privacy. The hotel itself felt quite old, and the photos make it look newer than it really is. Our biggest regret was dinner at the restaurant: we waited 1.5 hours for our food and did not receive any apology for the delay.
    • The surroundings of the hotel is very dirtyChairs in the restaurant and bars are dirtyBreakfast was very minimalistic, cold boild eggs, fruits were not fresh

    Had it allReally good

Stroppy restaurant staff Barman was brilliant 2x nights running restaurant was under pressure and service suffered badly

Location was good. Cuisine was good.

Bathroom wasn’t clean upon arrival. Everything was grossly overpriced. Pool table surface was ripped. Gym was too small. Bed/pillows weren’t great. AC was limited to “living room” and didn’t reach bedroom. Bright blue light emitted from front of hotel-came in bedroom windows.

Staff was excellent.. would like to compliment Nicholas. He was very helpful. Also thanks to the barman Yusuf... very entertaining guy.

We had booked a private suite and the property confirmed us that the suite was fully air-conditioned. But to our dismay only one room has a air conditioner. It was a sweltering 28 deg C and the suite was very uncomfortable during the night too. Although Nicholas (very grateful to him) gave us an alternate room on both nights but we were 3 adults and could not adjust in one room. Management should focus on refurbishing the room with basic amenities like air conditioning and specially when its under a Radisson Blu banner. No wonder the property had a rating of 7.8 on booking.com when I booked but assumed that being Radisson basics should be right,, but no way

The place is amazing the workers there are super welcoming and helpful we took a sweet which was comfy

Only the master room is without air conditioning but it was manageable

Staff speaks fluent English, big rooms, sauna, hamam and swimming pool! With amenities in the room, overall a good experience. Would book it again.Great place to stay and discover the Ardennes with free parking.

    Great staff and facility access

A bit of an older building so a little run down in places

    9ChristinaPosted on: 4-22-2025

The location was excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant was not good value for the money. Breakfast was not worth €26. While the staff were very friendly but because of the amount of people the repleneshment of the food was very slow. For me there were not enough staff on duty.

Quicker replenishment of the food at breakfast would have been better. Clearance of the tables could be improved.

    Great breakfast

Heating system broken, cannot stop it, it was 30° in the room even with open windows

    6OleksiyPosted on: 4-5-2025

room, hotel - pretty old. Windows are not open in a mode "ventilation". Floor is damaged. Spa - for the hotel +\-, but taking into account amount of people and not too much options what to do in the hotel (apart visiting a city by car as walk path is not suitable)... is small.

we asked on arrival, in the evening in 5 hours and in the morning to bring us cups for coffee/tea. Reception noticed but didn't deliver. I took caps from the restaurant by myself. Room was equipped with coffee machine and water heater, but not option how to drink coffee or tea (((

+ The size and the layout of the suite+ The smell in the hotel+ The pool / sauna / massage / public shower area+ The view from our room+ The parking

    - When we visited over the Christmas period, the restaurant was closed. - Some staff were not in the mood, we felt the "accueil" was not very pleasant - It is a bit outdated

    8IlgaPosted on: 3-13-2025

The staff was friendly. The spa was good and the location easy to reach and to discover the area.

The room was too warm at night. The staff during breakfast barely spoke English or Dutch. The parking was heavily occupied and unorganised. Some of the guests had to park on the side of the road.

    7RenatePosted on: 3-5-2025

Spacious, comfortable room, incl a nice big bathroom with walk in shower and bath. Breakfast has everything you need.

Middle of nowhere, not easy to find the parking. The room and hotel were freezing cold, and the heater was an air conditioner, so if you wanted any warmth, you'd be kept awake by the loud noise all night. Not ideal for light sleepersLamp was broken in bathroom, having to shower in the dark - wasnt fixed even after mentioning it to the reception staff. An old leak damaged the floor, causing the wooden planks to shift, creating gaps and sharp, raised edges that posed a serious risk of injury when walking barefoot. The twin beds were very narrow; even though I'm quite slim, I had to be careful not to roll off while sleeping. An upgrade would be appreciated.Construction on-site was not ideal, especially after a late night, when awoken at 6:30 AM by the sound of drills, saws, and hammering.

Upgraded to a premium. Nice facility

There was some trash uncleaned from previous guests in corners of the room

    7AlexeyPosted on: 2-26-2025

The hotel is quite old, but still well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, wide selection. Located near a forest, better to use a car to go to Spa.

We had a suite, very nice when travel with the kids, but cleaning might be done better. Taps were loose in the bathroom. After first night a cleaning lady took all coffee cups away :)

Everything in terms of service and the room - cleanliness and convenience. Breakfasts were generous and delicious. The dining room is really nice and has a pretty view on the garden. Parking was easy. Proximity to the Thermes was great as we drove there direct on one road from the hotel. Loved the stays we've had with Balmoral - 3 so far.

The lack of being able to book dinner at the hotel - which forced us to go out or order takeaway which isn't easy to eat in the hotel room. Also, the front door steps up are steep and I was nervous to use them so used the slope beside the entrance for the trolleys and wheelchairs. Shallower steps would be less unnerving - especially as there was snow and ice while we were there.

The location relatively close to Spa is decent. Some of the staff are friendly enough (but service was quite poor regardless). The family suite itself was big and would have been great if the hot water had worked. The pool, sauna and steam room are good bonuses. Pool is a bit small for the size of the hotel though so it’s more for a dip, rather than exercise.A reception employee was very helpful in trying to assist us to find a lost item.

Our family suite didn’t have hot water. The night we arrived we tried running a bath for our kids but the water was cold. A technician (who was very nice) came eventually and fixed it but by that time it was too late to bathe them so we thought we’d leave it until the morning instead. Come the morning, the hot water was again not working. I went to reception to tell them and they said they would try to get the technician. The technician never came so we ended up leaving without being able to have a shower/bath once.Check-in: we arrived at 15:00 when our room was meant to be ready. We were told it was not yet ready as ‘sometimes it takes longer’. I wouldn’t mind so much if there had been a ‘sorry’. Ended up checking-in 45 mins late which isn’t ideal with young kids.We liked our room (apart from the hot water issue) but the hotel feels quite dated

Parking is good, free of charge and walk directo to hotel. Premium room is great.
