Ibis Wavre Brussels East

It's a transit hotel for busses with tourists so the breakfast was a chaotic experience to say the least.

Room functional OK, heating OK.

Access very difficult through residential area with very, very narrow streets! GPS did not know easiest access along Do It Y-Center BRICO. No (or well hidden) signs guiding to IBIS Hotel!TV Remote / TV Guide simply of no use, Channels numbered without names unable to display daily program, no intuitive using of the remote - just gave up trying.

Breakfast was excellent, the staff were so helpful and friendly and they all spoke excellent English. The location is very close to the town, lots of restaurants and bars.

Carpet is no longer the most hygienic flooring option.The bath towels were of average quality.

The staff is very cooperative. They helped us find a taxi as we were not able to do it. We were with kids and it was night, so their help in arranging transport was really helpful for us.

Upgraded from a family room to 2 interlocking rooms so lots of space and comfortable beds. Decent breakfast with lots of variety. We needed to see a doctor whilst we were there and reception sorted this all out for us and managed to get an appointment on a Sunday within 2 hrs - this was brilliant as we are from the UK and my daughter caught tonsillitis!

Not a great choice of places to eat within walking distance.

Fantastic staff, everything clean. Special mention to the young woman working in the evening, very kind and helpful and always service with a smile even when having to handle multiple things at once!

It was excellently located (to Walibi Belgium theme park) which was ideal.The hotel and room was exceptionally clean and the girl on reception (didn’t get her name) was very helpful and welcoming, a credit to your staff.The beds were comfy. The room had working air conditioning and great Wi-Fi so the kids were happy! ☺️The cleaning staff had made up the room when we went out for the day, even folding and placing our clothes neatly away. ??

Good location and polite staff

No aircon in the rooms (or that worked properly), very hot. Pillows poor and only 1 provided per person. Very basic

It’s close to Walibi and Aqualibi which is the main purpose of our family trip. There are also close restaurants nearby.

I booked a family room for a family of 4 people. When we arrived they said there’s no available family room which is not my problem because I booked a family room a few months ago. They offered two rooms saying it was connected but to my disappointment it was just beside each other not connected so we end up separated because I have two small children and they cannot sleep on their own in another room. But because I don’t want to destroy my mood on that trip then ok I just write it on the reviews.

Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean room and bathroom, free car parking.We spent 2 nights at IBIS Wavre to enjoy Walibi amusement park. 20min walking from hotel. Room was great for family of 4 in one room to sleep well and take a relaxing shower after the entire day in Walibi.

Little store and food super expensive. Water is more expensive than in the amusement park nearby. Eat a frozen heated pizza for the price of a handmade one.

It was clean

Where to begin… we arrived to the hotel at 5PM, and even though the check in can start from 4pm, we had to wait 20 mins until the registrator was running around looking for cleaners to make sure our rooms are ready. We then received the keys to our rooms. Not just to separate floors, but separate wings of the hotel, which have separate elevators… and we explicitly asked for nearby rooms in our booking, as we travel with kids. Ok, we were unhappy, but its just for a nght, we thought, we’ll have a bed and clean towels. Or so we thouht. Apparently, in this hotel, you get one towel per person. So good look cleaning your face and privates with the same one. Also. The batroom floor is raised, so I sprained my ankle quite bad when stepping out into the room. Also, please note, that even thouhh you will pay quite high price for a hotel in the middle of nowhere, with single towel and no kettle in the room, you will also have to pay 19 euros for a breakfast of bread and coffee.

Typical Ibis experience: everything nice and clean, not the most luxury, but you can not say anything bad either.Free and uncomplicated parking situation, which i liked.

One of the lamps was kinda lose.

family suite was good size and had 2 twim beds for the kids.

The beds were very uncomfortable. It was a 3 inch pad on top of the box spring.

Everything was just fine for what we needed, a night stay with the kids. Friendly staff, clean and well organised room

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, clean. It was my kid's birthday and we were surprised with a small birthday gift.

Room has a decent size and the beds were very comfortable.They sell a few snack options and drinks which can be handy.Staff was very nice and welcoming.It is conveniently located if you are planning to go to walibi or the Hergé Museum.

Booked room was sold out and my travel companion and I had to sleep in the same bed.No apologies or compensation

The hotel is a typical Ibis Hotel. They are the same all over the places. Nice, clean rooms, well trained staff.

Our room was facing some neighboring depot... I don't know what it was but all the time you could hear a background "white" noise.

It was an excellent location for what we wanted.Our beds were made, and new towels left when we returned to the hotel

Tea and coffee facilities weren't in our room tho when we asked for a coffee when we went down we were told to just help ourselves from the breakfast bar. A restaurant may be a food idea too
