Pros +
- Very clean and comfortable room. Bathroom furnishings attractive and modern, although the tub-with-shower-head combo was a bit awkward to use. Quiet neighborhood, 7-10 minute walk from Bastogne's central square. Friendly staff.
- Breakfast and location
- Breakfast was outstanding. Central location was --- well --- central. The bed was amazingly comfortable.
Cons -
- Disorganized. Proprietor couldn't find our reservation, then seemed unsure how to check us in to the "villa." Eventually he insisted on leading us to the "villa" by car. This detached hotel/villa arrangement seems new, so maybe they'll figure it out.
- Room was smallish, bathroom needs updating, a standing shower instead of a tub with shower curtain would be nice. Narrow stairs to get to room could be a problem for older or larger customers.
- Our room was warm - but I believe the heat in most building in this area of Europe is on at this time (late October) - as Canadians we are finding all of our hotels a bit warmer.Machine for water in the lobby wasn’t working. Restaurant staff gave us free bottles though!

The positive comments by others are all confirmed, we had a great stay. The generosity of the hosts and staff, the wonderful breakfast, and the location right in the center of Bastogne, WITH the fantastic restaurant, make this an absolute topper for accommodation. We strolled around town to visit the war-museums, and we also did a fantastic autumn hike in the fields around Bastogne, beautiful and impressive to think about the history of this place. The hotel, offers a warm and positive return after such impressive experiences.
Our room was amazing - everything was updated and clean. There was a jet bath in the room and everything was so clean I felt comfortable having a bath after as rainy day in Bastogne.Location was great for visiting the bois Jacques and the airborne museum. We had dinner at the Leo Station and it was good. We were able to make a same day reservation.

The location was in the heart of Bruge and withing walking distance to so much entertainment and food. Staff were more than accommodating and very kind. The room itself was exactly what I needed for that point of my trip, very comfortable, quiet, and adorable. I wouldn't change a thing.
The shower was great but splashes a lot of water on the floor. Nothing a towel couldn't fix but I didn't want to leave the box blank.
I had no option for breakfast. It was either the full blown thing or nothing. It was a hassle just to get coffee.
When I made the reservation well in advance of the trip I reserved two rooms that ended up being in the annex with no lift. Staff said this was explained on booking.com. It was not that I saw. Had this been clear at time of booking I would have gone somewhere else.
Great location. Great food. Excellent room
The guest agent was very friendly and helpful. The room was on the third floor and because it is an older building; no elevator. The beds were comfortable with a 2 x 1 setup. I did request extra pillows as there is only one per bed and I need more support than just one. The air conditioner worked great and the remote worked perfectly. Nice water pressure in the tub/shower
No USB connections and the there is only one outlet by the tv and one on the far side of the room so charging is not ideal. There was another person answering the phone when the guest agent wasn't available and he wasn't friendly or helpful at all.
Good amount of space and very comfortable.
Shower with only low flexible head and no curtain/wall was very difficult/awkward to use, and impossible to keep floor dry.
Location and room was nicely set up- we were offered a welcome drink when we arrived which was nice. We just parked on the street nearby. It was nice having a restarurant right downstairs.
We specifically picked this hotel because they had AC and were right downtown in the main square. The AC didn't work and our room was extremely hot all night (the front desk did bring us fans but it was still really hot).
Room was large and clean. Bathroom was huge. Breakfast was very good.
As an American traveling to Europe, I'm not accustomed to the duvet type of bedding. Proved much to warm for me, and theres no other option since there's no top sheet.
The hotel put us up in the annex building and was able to provide us for the requests we made for an easy accessible room for people with limited mobility. Both rooms were pretty big and the ground floor room had an easy walk in shower. For some reason the booking through booking.com didn't clearly indicated how to tell the venue that there were 2 people staying per room and that could have led to an extra costs, but the receptionist waived that cost for us as they are aware that it's not the most clear thing to do on booking.com. A nice gesture.Free wifi
Breakfast was a bit pricy, but buffet style with a lot of options, so you can probably get your money's worth in food and coffee. The entrance to the buffet is a bit cramped as we had to exit the same way out so I guess when it gets busy you can get a little traffic jam going, but there weren't too many people having breakfast at the same time as us, so it wasn't a big problem. The coffee machines could have some indication of what is what for non French speaking guests, because it would become a bit of an experiment to figure out what the options are if you don't understand French. I guess the staff can also probably help out with that, we didn't give that a try, so maybe that is the way they solve that? Some of the bars had live music that we could still hear a while into the night, but that isn't really under control of the hotel. At least you don't have to go very far to find places to eat and/or drink.
Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast at reasonable price
The entire staff was extremely helpful. Great location right on the square- with restruaunt right next door. They also have free parking behind the hotel- lots of room. Good size room- clean and comfortable.
Just getting up and down the stairs in the adjoining building. Main building had elevator- building next door does not.
Location was very good close to restaurants and shops. Room was big especially by European standards!
No coffee or hot water pot to make coffee or tea. No English tv channels.
Good
Rooms in the 2nd building are quite old and not comfortable.
I love its coziness, the fact that parking is free (behind the hotel), the beds, great walk-in shower, and the lovely rooms, and that it’s part of Bastogne square, the center of town.
Small things: no USB-A ports in the rooms and the shower floor is SUPER slippery. I had to be very careful and wished for some sort of anti-slip mat.
The central building rooms were very good as was the breakfast BUT the annex rooms were very bad , dirty and very dated, stairs only no lift also the supposed locked front door which guests needed a key code for was broken allowing anyone to walk in and they did
Rooms were very large and very comfortable. Buffet breakfast was excellent.Location was perfect.Staff very friendly and helpful.
TV channels very limited.Rooms didn’t have the air conditioning on because of the time of year, which made the rooms very warm.
