Pros +
- Main Street Hotel was exceptional in every way. The hotel's operator / hostess, Elodie, was a marvelous! She was extremely welcoming and helpful in helping us schedule our activities and even booked our dinner at an exceptional restaurant, just a short walk away from the hotel. The hotel has a welcoming front room / sitting area to enjoy a game of chess, relax with a book, or enjoy a cocktail. Elodie offered us a welcome cocktail and provided an tour of the establishment, which included an honor refrigerator / bar with chilled wine, champagne, and a brilliant selection of Belgian beers. We requested the two single room, and too was exceptional - large, with plenty of room for our bags and to move around; the bed were actually separate single beds; the en suite bathroom was also large and nicely appointed with a large sink, large shower with a rainfall shower, and high end towels. Breakfast was another area that far exceeded our expectations. Elodie put out a full continental breakfast spread with everything you could ask for - a variety of meats, cheeses, cold cereals, yogurts with multiple toppings, fresh fruit juices, milks, etc. - along with preparing to order just about any hot breakfast dish you may want. There was public, on street parking just across from the hotel that was only 2-eruo/day and always had multiple spaces available. Elodie made us feel at home and we were saddened that we didn't stay longer. We will definitely return on our next trip to Ypres.

Great central location in beautiful Ypres, Elodie was an exceptional hostess. Quirky well appointed rooms with luxuriously spacious bathrooms. Breakfast was exceptional!
The property was beautifully decorated with each room having its individual style. The mini bar in every room was complementary which is a rarity and was fully stocked. There was in addition an honesty bar by the breakfast room which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was sensational. Both cooked and buffet style. Elodie the owner was on hand to ensure all of her guests had the best time.
There is nothing not to like. This is a first class hotel.
Great location, great room with perfect atmosphere, super service from Elodie, great breakfast
All was perfect!
Beautiful, quirky, and exceptionally clean. Food was unbelievable, and Elodie, our hostess, even more so!
Nothing!
Excellent location central Ypres.Great safe parking. The host Elodie was very nice and helpful.Breakfast was fantastic 10/10Lovely little boutique hotel.
The owner, Elodie, met us upon arrival and accommodated our special requests. She truly made us feel welcome and a valued client. The hotel was so quaint and inviting, from the period decor to the flowers to the individual butter cups at breakfast. The rooms were very clean and had everything, at no extra cost!
The only complaint, and it was not under the control of the hotel was the church bell that rang on the hour. Thankfully it stopped at 21:00h and did not start again until 07:00h.
Quirky, fun, stylish surroundings, faultlessly hosted by Elodie, we couldn’t recommend this hotel more. An absolute joy!
The roast black pudding with apple and onions for breakfast was soooooo good, I regret not having it two days running.
Main St Hotel is charming and in a great location. Elodie is a welcoming and helpful host. The breakfast is wonderful, Belgian waffles a must!
The hostess and the Hotel were fantastic and the breakfast was just unbelievable the decor in the hotel was amazing this is the best hotel we have stayed in during our five visits to the area we even had an issue with our car fob and the hostess had sorted for us
Very beautiful luxurious room. Was travelling solo yet seemed to end up in the honeymoon suite with a double bath. Just a fabulous room, complimentary mini bar to boot. Definitely a place to come to again, my wife would be most impressed! Lovely breakfast and coffee too.
Nought
It is a wonderful hotel with a wonderful warm reception upon arrival. It has a very good location and is easy to park. And the breakfast was superpub. Great location if you want to visit Ieper.
The most beautiful boutique hotel run by the equally beautiful Elodie who is the most sincere and loveliest host you could ask for. The breakfast is outstanding and worth a visit just for that!! Each room is special and individual and a very high standard!! We will definitely be back if we come to Ypres again!
Nothing - it is perfect!!
Elodie is a wonderful host, the care and attention to detail at the hotel is amazing. The room was a good size and the bathroom was as big as the bedroom! Breakfast was very good.
Location excellent Secure parking garageElodie excellent host very helpful and informative Room with patio area
Nothing to dislike at all
The most exquisitely decorated, spotlessly clean boutique hotel with the kindest, most accommodating proprietor. Huge shower, large bath (Glory room). Time stops here; everything is unhurried and harmonious. Stunning breakfast. Lots of gluten free options. A truly fabulous experience.
The fact we couldn’t stay longer.
The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. We've stayed in lots of nice hotels but this small boutique hotel in a fantastic location for Ypres might well be my favourite. Elodie couldn't do enough for us and was a fantastic host. Breakfast was excellent, the room spacious with a lovely bathroom including hot tub and our own outside space. The room was designed so nicely and the whole hotel has a lovely relaxing vibe. Highly recommended!
Nothing! A perfect stay - I just wish we could have stayed for longer.
the hotel consisted of 2 or 3 rooms in the garden and the remainder of the rooms was 1 or 2 flights up in the main buidling.. Ours (no 2) was at the end of the garden with a sizable private terras. The room was cosy but not very large. Our host Elodie, was the most hospitable hotel owner we have known, she went out of her way to make us feel at home
The owner, Elodie was very welcoming, friendly and suggested a reasonable and nice bistro to eat for dinner. The hotel was immaculate. The bed room large, with a free mini bar, coffee making facilities, huge comfy bed. The en suite was very well appointed with a large corner bath and separate shower with hand wand and overhead rain shower. Breakfast was superb! A wonderful selection of fresh fruit salad, yoghurts , nuts, cereals, granola, cheeses, cold meats, pastries and cooked to order breakfast (mine was a delicious cheese and vegetable omelette )!Thank you Oledie. We had a truly fabulous stay at your hotel.
Nothing. It was perfect!
