Location was good

The people at the front desk were horrible and rude. Not friendly in the slightest. Elevator was broken, did not even offer to help with bags and we only had small carryons. Tried to ask about parking, they were dismissive. I left something there and it was not recovered… I offered to come back the next day to get it they said it was not found. The excuse was that they were super busy and the elevator was broken, which makes no sense. When we were there it was dead. Would not stay again.

The room was comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent - easy walk to Vernon restaurants and a short drive to Giverny. Having garage parking is a plus.

Having garage parking is nice, but it is a bit challenging exiting it (especially if you have a SUV).

Small but comfortable room, perfect for our one night stay to see Monet's Home and Garden. On the morning of our departure, we were delighted to see an early morning market setup just down the street from the hotel. What a treat! The hotel was able to provide a secure parking spot for our rental car. Everything was perfect!

The hotel is beautiful and they were able to accommodate a last minute request. My father fell ill on a family trip with a river cruise and was admitted to the nearby hospital. That part of the experience was not great, of course, but the hotel was easy walking distance to the hospital and many other conveniences. Although there was no air conditioning, the hotel was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was sensitive to our situation and I would definitely return under better circumstances.

I cannot think of anything that wasn't really great at Hotel Normandy. Had I booked the hotel under better circumstances instead of its convenience to the hospital, it would have been an absolutely wonderful experience.

The toilet was separate from the the sink and shower. We had to walk. through the room to get to the sink

Great location. Had secure parking for my vehicle. Bed and room were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed a nice drink and snack from the hotel restaurant. Clean, neat, functional bath, shower, charging outlets, desk. Was a nice stay.

I sure enjoy a/c, and the hotel does not have it. That said, it was warm but quite bearable with the hotel-provided fan. No refrigerator in the room. Everything else was nice.

Would not stay again.

Parking was a problem, breakfast was disappointing for the price. Coffee was cold. Only whole fruits no cut up fruit. Eggs were stone cold! No AC

Nice overnight stay in Vernon. Parking was underground and convenient. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious! Great stopover for our time in Normandy!

We loved the location in the heart of Vernon close to town center and river seine. Very cosy feeling and clean. Staff was extremely welcoming. Breakfast was delicious.

Location is nice right in center of Vernon and they had paid parking below the hotel. Barbara at the front desk was particularly kind to us and assisted with dinner recommendations

The building was lovely and location good for visiting Giverny in the morning.

No tea or coffee facilities in the room. No fridge in the rooms. Hairdryer from the 70s. Early check in cost extra even when rooms appeared to be ready and available.

The staff were gorgeous and loved their jobs.

The bed felt at the wrong angle in room 102. It felt like it should have been north south. But the room was beautifully clean and well decorated.

Very good location

Room was not clean; the carpet was extremely dirty and you could see dirt on the walls. There was no shower on the bath, just the hand held one at the base of the bath. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. Peeling paint in the bathroom, really not taken care.

Breakfast was excellent. Delicious taste, lots of variety, healthy choices, friendly and helpful staff.

I have a hard time operating the Nespresso machines. Don't understand how they work.

Very central hotel. Staff very helpful. Good breakfast. Would have liked a kettle in the bedroom.
