    Pros +

    • The hotel is in a perfect location for walking the promenades in either direction. We had a little balcony overlooking the water, which was a wonderful place to relax after good walks.
    • the rooms was very nicely lit. the location was wonderful. breakfast was also quite good.
    • We had a lovely stay at Hotel de Vallee. The seafront rooms have a magical view, breakfast is great - lots of delicious Bordier products! - and the staff really friendly, professional and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the hotel bar. It is a perfect location to enjoy the seafront and Dinard town.

    Cons -

    • The hallways were dark and not as attractive as the outside of the building or insides of the rooms.
    • One of our party had a cold shower - but we were the first booking after the hotel reopened so this I'm sure will be easily fixed. Room on the small side but more than compensated by the beautiful view. Bar on the expensive side.
    • The wall plugs were behind the bed and hidden on the desk… had to move the bed forward to plug my charger. The shower and its pressure reducer are bad and make almost impossible to shower and not flood the whole bathroom.

    Good breakfast, view and beds.

Nice breakfast, staff and location. The room was a bit dated, but the bed was clean and comfy. Would book again.

The room especially the bathroom was a bit dated.

Location and views were excellent. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant meal was fabulous.

Long walk from the bus drop off as the tourist bureau stop was closed inexplicably.

    Location food clean

When we left waitress alone with no receptionist had to help move car that had blocked us in. Not able to get final as no receptionist had arrived by the time we left at 0845. Waitress , young girl with glasses fantastic. Merci. No receptionist to settle bill very poor

Good value breakfast, great view from room 301, very nice dinner , excellent location at garbourside and 5 mins walk from centre, lovely outside terrace for drinks or breakfast,

Some staff were not helpful, waitress who was not helpful, and the wines are all exceptionally expensive.

Such a stunning location ? Food in restaurant was superb.

Room was lovely but small, would have appreciated more tea/coffee.

    8JeremyPosted on: 8-6-2024

Great location and view over to Saint Malo, waking up to the sound of waves outside was just magical. Staff were very friendly and professional. Room were clean with nice en-suite, double bed was big and comfortable.

The family room was a bit small for 4 - the children's beds were a small pull out affair and really for the money I would have expected two regular sized single beds.

Very close to amenities and the town

We were lucky with parking and managed to get in one of the five allocated spaces otherwise parking would be difficult. No available hanging facility for clothing

Perfectly located traditional hotel with a stunning view of the harbour. The staff could not have been more charming. Superior room with sea view just perfect

    8MarkPosted on: 6-25-2024

Lovely location and we will be back.

Unfortunately our main course of fish was not cooked completely and was cold .but was replaced immediately.

    9NickPosted on: 6-23-2024

Room situation was great - dual aspect with beautiful views. Food was very good.

Parking was a little limited but staff very helpful in arranging parking. Price was a little high but everything else made up for it.

Lovely location. Attractive reception rooms. Very nice helpful staff and delicious dinner. Good wine list.

Very small bath towel. Quite a basic mattress.

    9RichardPosted on: 1-15-2024

Very nice location next to the harbour, walking distance to the center, nice hotel, good kitchen (for dinner), very friendly staff.
