Castelbrac Hotel & Spa

Our stay at Castelbrac was absolutely wonderful. The location overlooking the sea is spectacular, and the hotel itself is full of character and charm. Our room was beautifully decorated, quiet, and exceptionally comfortable, with a view that made it hard to leave.The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help — their attention to detail really made a difference. Everything about our stay felt elegant and relaxed.We loved every moment and would return without hesitation. A truly special place in Dinard!

Location. Room

At times they seemed understaffed for a five star property. For example one person was responsible for the garage and moving bags and so at checkout was very slow.

Lovely view, romantic and breathtaking. Comfy bed and clean room and bathroom. Location is close town and ferry to St. Malo. Although we preferred the much calmer town of Dinard. The swimming pool is a bonus but it is VERY small.

While the location and privacy are lovely and the view is indelible, the price was quite high for the few services and the small swimming pool. One night, we sat on the balcony having tea and asked for something sweet to eat. The waiter had to dig up something from the fridge that was kind of mediocre. It was surprising for what they advertise as a full-service place.

They need to rethink breakfast, having to order from their selection, the night before.. I don't mind a breakfast shift system... In the end I walked into town to get Croussians, jam and butter.. Also parking needs explaining...so that guest under stand what to do rather than park bring in cases then realise there is underground parking

Great location overlooking bay and St. Malo across the water, near everything, and had steps to the Clair de Lune walkway. Fun to read of the property's history. Staff was very good.

Small rooms, curtains (or nothing) for privacy in shower, decor spartan 1950s and in no way belle epoque. Were it not for the location, this would not be a 5-star hotel. Do not stay in room 7 -- your "view" is solely out the bathroom window.

The hotel was in an excellent location, it was clean and welcoming , the staff were always polite , friendly and helpful.

I didn’t like the breakfast, it was made up of 3 set menus, which were made up mainly of carbs , when choosing a fruit salad option it consisted of 4 strawberries. The mini bar in the room contained no milk and when asked for breakfast tea was told there was only 1 teabag left.

This hotel is extraordinary. The view is unbeatable and the whole property is magical -- incredible room and beautiful terrace, pool, harbor walk. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and made everything easy, including navigating the narrow, stone-lined ramp down to the parking in an unfamiliar rental car!

Amazing location right on the water front. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating.

Amazing and quirky hotel with interesting history and fabulous view over the bay between St Malo and Dinard. Terrific and classy renovation done just before the pandemic. Def worth the trip.

Well... it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Service wasn’t as good as it should be for the cost. Too reactive and not particularly engagingSome aspects of the room were very disappointing: towel radiator didn’t work, one sink was blocked, Wi-Fi was intermittent and it was almost impossible to get English speaking tv reception

Breakfast excellent, room comfortable, e-bikes great. Best bit was the staff though - all of them were excellent

Room was a little on the small side and would’ve been nice to have a bath in the bathroom!

Great location. Fabulous room with a wrap around terrace.. delicious dinner in the restaurant but it’s a tasting menu which we probably wouldn’t have chosen. Staff excellent
