ibis Styles Evry Cathédrale

Great experience at this ibis Styles. The rooms were comfortable and exactly what I needed, but the highlight was the reception team. Trancia was absolutely wonderful—she greeted me with a warm welcome and showed great initiative in making sure my stay was perfect. Her customer service is top-notch. I will definitely be back!

More breakfast buffet options would be excellent!

No green staff at all for breakfast, no vegetables. No fish.

Although not in the heart of Paris, location of hotel is less than 200m from the RER station. It is also close to the mall and supermarket (Carrefour).

A little far from the city.

Incredibly bad experienceOne hour before arrival at the hotel I was called by the reception of Ibis Evry that there was a water leak in my room and they booked a room in a 4* hotel for me, 20 minutes drive. I asked them to send me a whatsapp message with the details which I received only 5 minutes before arrival at Ibis. Since I was already near, I decided to go to Ibis Evry and asked them to show my room with the water leak. They refused and admitted it was a lie since they made an over booking. They refused to call another guest to go to another hotel and I was forced to leave. Once arrived at the so called 4* hotel it appeared to be another lie, it was officially a 3* hotel but I must say it was a real creapy hotel. It was confirmed by the same guy at Ibis Evry after whatsapp contact with him, this was another lie. I never had such a bad experience of not being taken serious. Never again Ibis Evry!!! Be warned!!!

The shower pressure was poor.

The whole place was very run down and needs refurbishment.The staff were unfriendly and absent.The food was abysmal. The breakfast offering was extremely poor, with little variety and low quality. I also had lunch there, a burger, the bun was like mush and the burger dry, the fries had clearly been cooked some time before and then reheated.The location, although not the fault of the hotel, is not in a nice area and felt dangerous after dark.

The location suited us and It was v clean and beds and towels changed every day. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Ps great shower and breakfast was absolutely delicious.

We found this hotel to be exceptional because everything from the welcome, cleanliness and decor in the room, evening meal in the restaurant, breakfast and checking out was spot on. Great value and would definitely book again if stopping over or staying near Paris.

The parking is not free for customers

Some of the staff were very friendly, breakfast was ok if very basic. Nice seating area in the foyer.

I have stayed in many different Ibis hotels over the years and I was shocked at the lack of standard usually found in Ibis hotels. Tired rooms, terrible food in the restaurant, worse than a school canteen. Rats playing in the outdoor patio. And worst of all Ibis took 200€ extra from my account when I paid for my room, without asking me. When I queried this amount I was told it was a deposit in case I ate in the restaurant. I did eat in the restaurant dinner and breakfast and I had drinks and I paid for each thing I bought in cash. Never in my life have I paid a deposit on food or drink that I hadn't used in any Ibis hotel anywhere in Europe. Also I am a member of Ibis club, and this does not show any trust in members. To be treated like a child (withholding my money for several days without my consent!) is really not a good impression to give.

We like the stuff from breakfast, they were joyful and very nice and welcoming with some nice music on.We like the quick check-in and check-out process.

Room was too dark, some of the lamps did not workIt was difficult to access and put the heater on from the wallElevator was always busy, we waited long to be able to squeeze in because it was always full!!

Disappointing

The room was hot without any ac control. The room was noisy as walls are paper thin.

Friendly staff and check/in was easy and welcoming. Comfortable beds.Great little restaurant too.

The room was a bit warm and we couldn’t adjust the temperature or open the window.

Room and hotel was lovely

firstly the man who checked me in was lovelylater on in the night there was another man on reception for night staff, so i asked the man in reception if they sell drinks and i had a very stern “no” and walks off, he then follows me to the main door as i go outside for a cigarette and LOCKS ME OUTSIDE! 5-10 mins later he finally lets me in trying to argue with me saying i don’t have a room in the hotel, he then really wound me up so i took my girlfriend a glass of water to the room, TOLD HIM i was going back outside for a cigarette, he then locks the door and did not let me back in, i was banging the hotel main doors for 10-15 mins and shouting, still nothing, baring in mind i can see myself on the camera in the doorway…..another 10 mins go by so i had to wake my girlfriend up at 3am to let me back in, then funnily enough guess who walks out to see who’s coming in…… THE MAN WHO LOCKED ME OUTVERY DISAPPOINTED ruined my night near paris and very annoyed at getting locked out of a hotel that i’d payed for, TERRIBLE SERVICE

The room needs to be cleaner ( there was a pillow with a cigarette smell, some breadcrumbs under the table , the toilette, and the bathtub don't have a very fresh smell).The ventilation ducts are a bit loud to sleep.The price does not match the service very much.Sometimes, I had to press the elevator button many times.

Clean and very kind personels.Near RER station, only 50 m.Big shopping center near by.20 min to Paris by car.

The area, many suspect persons after dark. Have seen many rats running around the hotel.
