This hotel is located at the beach. You can watch sunset in the evening as this hotel is on the beach. The breakfast has lot of options. This hotel does not look like a 5 star hotel.

The manager is rude and is not respectful. I booked half-board however they asked me to pay for dinner. The hotel looks is not 5 star should be listed as 4 star. I got the 2 vouchers for the restaurant named SILA, however they cancelled the reservation.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The shower and tub were amazing.

The staff behaved as if they were stressed and overwhelmed but the resort didn't seem full. They gave our cabana (which was not close to our bungalow at all) to someone else on Day 1 so we had to move to another one. They had confusing and weird policies about accessing clean, dry beach towels. We had a reservation at the main restaurant where we waited over an hour, watched the staff seat someone else at the next available table and then were extremely disappointed in the food. The quality of our dishes was poor and the pacing was awful. We did enjoy the breakfast buffet offerings however.

The room was Amazing. Wrap around balcony view. Able to watch the sunrise from bed. The bed was King size and actually very comfortable. The lady who checked me in was beautifully sweet and accommodating. The staff was warm and friendly.

The beach behind the hotel is good. Their buffet restaurant offers very good food, and Maria who works there is simply marvelous and caring. The apartment was good. It was a good experience all in all.

For reasons I can't explain they are not fond of providing new beach towels when the ones we have got are wet. They simply take them away.Their towels were oldish.That's not a 5-star hotel, which can be a bit deceitful. The hotel is a bit far away from everything else.

You should definitely work with her if you are planning to get married. The beach setting was stunning, peaceful, private, and perfect for our vows. Our room was spacious, clean, and had an amazing sea view, making it feel truly special. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, great for unwinding before and after the ceremony. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely supportive, they treated us like family. Everything was smooth, beautiful, and full of heart. We’ll always remember this place as part of our story.

the staff was exceptional! very accommodating, friendly and warm! The spa was so beautiful and the employees were wonderful! the room was spacious and right on the water.

My wife and I were there for 7 wonderful days. The staff was fantastic making sure to handle any and all needs big or small. the cuisine whether for breakfast or at any of the restaurants was outstanding. My wife's birthday was on one of the days and the restaurant did their best to make sure her celebration was a personal one that she will remember.

The aircraft flying overhead was a bit noisy for my wife but not a bother to me at all. The restaurants in the immediate area was not particularly good, but we took an evening trip to Malia (21 minutes away) and the neighboring city and the food and atmosphere there was fantastic. Well worth the drive.

Great place for people that like to spend their day on the beach. Excellent food, friendly service.

Rooms are a bit tight and need some updating.. Overall rating would be at the lower end of the 5-star category.

The location and room, with a private pool on the beach, is as close to paradise as you can expect. It's a truly stunning environment. The options for breakfast and dinner are exceptional, and the staff are polite, friendly and attentive.

I was very, very pleased with my trip, so any improvements would be very nit-picky. The wifi was sometimes a little unreliable, but not enough to be a major negative.

Hotel is old and tired and in desperate need of refurb. We did 10 days at another hotel in kokini hani and 4 days here. Massive difference in standard and facilities. Would recommend for families as no amenities for children and no entertainment. They messed up our booking, we arrived late in the evening and tried to charge us an additional 450euros for our rooms. With 3 children in very hot weather, arguing with reception was the last thing the we needed. We had to threaten to leave at 11.30pm at night to get them to finally back down and accept the amount we had already paid via booking.comPlus was breakfast was good and the air con was fab. The staff were amazing! We flew in late and we're very tired. The staff found us food to take back to our room so we didn't have to look for an open restaurant. The food recommendations were welcomed and very good. We were excited to eat local! Overall it was an exceptional experience.

Its an absolutely beautiful place with nice staff and the Bungalows are amazing!

A couple corners were cut from time to time. Charging for a soda at dinner seemed a bit much with all the money being spent, etc. But otherwise, a truly amazing stay.

Staff, food, and rooms were all wonderful! I felt very happy and comfortable here. The staff were so warm, friendly, and helpful. Vicky at the lunch restaurant was especially great and guest relations went out of their way to help make our anniversary more special. The property is beautiful and spa so relaxing. Highly recommend!

The pool was super cold which I'm sure would be nice in July (I went in April)

Weather, staff and food were amazing

Knossos Beach staff are out of this world, very special, caring and a welcome smile for every moment. Lovely sandy beach, excellent food, best beds and showers. Special mention to the dynamic duo in Guest Services and all the restaurants and bars’ staff. Exceptional!

The location is challenging g so close to Heraklion airport. OK to see the planes going over daytime but through the night is very disruptive for sleep. Bring ear plugs!

Even though there was a dress code for both restaurants there were still men (and women ) shirtless in each of them during the day even though there are 2 beach bars - it just lowered the tone a little.

Room was a 10/10. Being able to wake up and step into a pool, whilst also on the beach front just never got old - it was sensational. The room was good enough to assuage most other concerns. Much of the staff were excellent, particularly those in the buffet, and Manos at front desk was very helpful. The environments in general were superb - the buffet restaurant overlooking the beach, the room, the bars - first class.

At times, there were issues with front desk. I had to ask 3 times to get a price on adding an additional guest which ended up costing 200 Euros for essentially just a few extra meals / drinks. In the bar, perhaps it was busy, but actually getting an order took far too long. On my first morning, I woke up to a cockroach inside the room which seemed dead but then proved to be VERY active. It was the only one I saw, and wasn't a big deal, and I guess to be expected for the climate. BUT - 80 Euros, for 1 bag of washing, that was only completed after 50 hours, is really unacceptable. I had been travelling already for a number of days, so wanted some fresh clothes. I guess this is not a service used often. But I could have flown back to the UK, washed them, and returned to Crete in less time than it took. And 80 Euros is just really, really appaling as a cost. I strongly encourage the property to either adjust this or consider not offering the service at all. It's a strong way for a guest to feel quite exploited.
