Sole Mare Seaside Apartments

We only booked this apartment for our last night as it was close enough to book a taxi to the airport, as we'd been touring the island for the past two weeks, in my opinion sole mare seaside apts was as good as any other apartment we'd stayed in over the past two weeks, rooms were clean, greart location, access to a swimming pool and it's right on the beach, Sonia the mangeress was brilliant, she sorted out our taxi and stored our suitcases, I would definitely stay here again

We stayed for a single night, because we needed a place to stay after we arrived very late at the airport. The rooms were clean and we had an air conditioner. The host gave us instructions on how to retrieve the key from the key box.

The location was great and the instructions to find it were perfect. It was clean and comfortable too

Excellent location. Clean and tidy. Lovely friendly hosts.

Good communication. Good facilties.

Noise. The pool is not owned by the property.

Apartment was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean and we had very good communication with host with good instructions for checking in

Area of the property was not any interesting at all. Our room was facing the side road so no views. No aircon in front room

Everything. Lovely, friendly lady to show us around and give us information. The apartment was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. Brilliant location, close to restaurants, shops and opposite the beach.

We liked everything. I would have liked a fixing to hold the shower, other than just to be held by hand but other than that it had everything.

Sole Mare is in the perfect position. So close to the beaches with a wonderful view. Sonia was a great and very helpful with airport transfers as well.

Is almost on the beach, very clean and new, well furnished and equipped.

Everything about this apartment was great.Was very spacious, had off street parking, and across the road from the water.Message Communication with the staff was very clear and had no issue checking in.

Location is one of the best in Gouves, Restaurants and shops right around the corner. Very spacious balcony with comfortable furniture. Host was very kind and caring.

It would have been nice to have a place to hang the shower head, we had to hold it in our hand while showering, not a big issue but would have been nice.

Location. Apartment was clean and tidy. Excellent aircon. Pleasant outside seating area.

What a wonderful seaside apartment in Crete. The room was huge and airy, and the balcony overlooking the sea was just stunning - especially in the evenings to watch the sunset. Had everything we needed, and nice and close to a variety of amenities.

Nothing. We were only there for 2 nights and it was perfect.

A studio apartment right on the sea-side, with good space for us as a couple. A balcony overlooking the sea and a small kitchen area made staying there a pleasure. Right by a number of restaurants, cafes and shops and a short walk from the main street in Gouves.

Very little! A place to hang the shower-head to allow a better shower would help, and we used up the kindly supplied coffee in a couple of days - that is our own fault though!

It was so clean and they thought of everything.

Maybe needs a full length mirror. Curtain needs to close easier.

Good location,very friendly,easy check in. Good facilities just what we needed for a couple of days before leaving Crete.

Great little apartment. Really wish I had booked the full front facing sea view though. I did have a bit of a view of the sea and it was pleasant to sit on the terrace for breakfast. lovely big bed and decent sized apartment. Wi-Fi was good and kitchen was well enough equipped for a short stay. Loved going to the pool area next door. Sonia was great as a host: responsive, friend and helpful.

Close to the airport and buggy car rental so sometimes it was loud during the night.

Sonia is extremely kind, I received all the necessary information with pictures and instructions to enter the room. When I left, I was able to stay longer so that the children could sleep at lunch in the room. The apartment has two rooms on the ground floor, with a side view of the sea. The double bed is very comfortable , a double extendable sofa in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, coffee filter, kettle and Sandwachmaker, we managed excellently and could cook for the children. Bathroom with hot water, hair dryer, shower gel and shampoo.the hotel's swimming pool is clean with warm water, a part with small water where children can play. Playground with slide, house, swing. 10-15 min walk to Aquarium, dinosaur park and theme museum. Heraklion half an hour away by car. There are many restaurants in the area, at the one next door you can serve breakfast for 6 euros, good food and a children's menu. We recommend 2Frends, cheap and very tasty food.
