    • Amazing property with exceptional food and staff
    • Beautiful resort close to the airport and ferry. We stayed here just one night before a ferry to Santorini. Private pool was nice but surprisingly cold for a small pool in the sun. Loungers and outside area including shower, private and nice. Didn't notice the planes that others mentioned. Room and bathroom was large, clean and comfortable. Dining options for lunch and dinner were awesome. We missed the full breakfast because of our ferry time, but they opened the breakfast early upon request and prepared 2 plates for us that were nice. I was able to reserve a deep tissue massage. The online portal said there were no availabilities but after stopping at the spa there was one. Excellent massage therapist. They reserved a transfer to the ferry for us and it worked out well. Welcome drinks in the room included alcohol but were quickly replaced with smoothies when we let them know we didn't drink. Staff were excellent and helped us with everything we needed.
    • We loved the food (especially at the Thymises restaurant), the private swimming pool, the proximity to Heraklion and Knossos, the quality of the service and the friendliness of all the staff, the fact that you could reach the reception very easily via Whatsapp and that the room got made twice a day - it was always clean and fresh! We also really enjoyed the direct access to the beach. Overall we felt pampered and extremely well looked after during our stay and would have loved to stay longer :)

    Cons -

    • No bidet and you cant flush toilet paper in the toilet It would be good to have a bidet then
    • We really did like everything! Some people mentioned the noise from the (very) nearby airport: personally it did not bother us, but I can understand that some people find it annoying. When the new Kasteli airport opens, even this should be gone :)
    • They dont have any facilities by the beach as they dont own that piece of land as I see but it would be nice if they had beachside facilities. This could be the only concern about the hotel but otherwise it is exceptional service and facilities.

Amazing experience! The room was great, very comfortable and with a lovely pool, but maybe the highlight for me was the shower - it was the best shower I ever had!The resort itself is beutiful and calming. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a real 5 star resort. The staff is super attentive and kind, especially Manos who brought room service. The food is 10/10. The location is 10/10. The property is gorgeous. Beautiful beach nearby. Excellent amenities. The pools are excellent. Some good shops up the street. Access to world class excursions with pickup being so close to Heraklion; think scuba, horse riding, quad bikes, boat rentals. Not that we ever wanted to or needed to leave. This immediately became one of our favorite places and we will be back.

Some slight plane noise can be heard but is rarely noticed—for proximity to the airport it’s worth it.

Rating: 10/10An absolutely amazing hotel! The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. The pool was always clean and very relaxing. Service was professional, kind, and responsive to every request. There are two restaurants for dinner – it’s not a buffet, so the selection is more limited, but the food quality is excellent and the atmosphere is quiet and refined.A huge bonus is that the hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the airport – incredibly convenient, especially after a flight.I honestly have nothing negative to say. A perfect experience. We will definitely be back

Beautiful! Comfortable, very clean, smelled wonderful, special touches, outstanding customer service, excellent food.

Didn’t know spa facilities were only available for limited hours during the day. The technology in the room was a little tricky for us to understand but it was a cool modern feature to have. Box breakfast which was a nice offer was actually a lunch of plain white bread sandwiches. Not great. We did not eat them.

Nice breakfast and meal. Prices seemed reasonable. No one put their towels out at 7am to reserve the loungers. Very pleasant and relaxing place

Hired a bike and car from down the road so we were very independent for getting around

    The breakfast was good.

We traveled around Crete and stayed at several hotels, and unfortunately, this one was the most disappointing. It’s significantly overpriced for what it offers. The nearby beach is overshadowed by an abandoned property, which really takes away from the atmosphere. On arrival, you're required to check in through an app — something I personally didn’t appreciate after a 16-hour flight, especially when I was hoping to disconnect and relax. The staff didn’t make the experience any better. I called to request an iron, and it took over 30 minutes. When I followed up to cancel the request, the response I got was a sarcastic-sounding, “Aw okay, enjoy your outing,” — which is the same kind of passive, dismissive tone we experienced multiple times during our stay. Rather than resolving concerns, they smile and give these insincere responses that feel more frustrating than helpful. They also advertise a complimentary hand massage, but it was fully booked for five days — so if you're not staying that long, you miss out on it entirely.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It simply isn’t worth the price, and you can absolutely find better places for the same (or even lower) cost. The only real advantage is its proximity to the airport.

Pnoe Breathing Life is not just a hotel – it’s an experience that redefines what hospitality means. This was actually our second time staying here, and we loved it so much that we extended our trip by two extra nights – we just couldn't bring ourselves to leave. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible staff – every single person we encountered was genuinely kind, warm, and incredibly helpful. Their smiles, attentiveness, and good energy made us feel welcomed and pampered throughout our stay. And let’s talk about the music – WOW! The playlists at this hotel are on another level. Whether we were at the pool, the spa, or just enjoying the vibe around the resort, we were constantly surrounded by the perfect soundtrack. We didn't use our headphones once – the hotel’s music choices were so good that we simply didn’t need to. Every song felt like it was handpicked for the exact moment. Pure magic. Now to the food – absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was a culinary masterpiece, worthy of top chef restaurants. It was so delicious, so beautifully presented, that we forgot we were even at a hotel. The quality, flavors, and creativity of the dishes were out of this world. The service here is unmatched. Everything runs so smoothly – from the impeccable cleanliness, the attention to detail in every corner of the hotel, to the amazing yoga and pilates sessions, and the fully-equipped 24/7 gym that feels like a private wellness retreat. The little touches, like a WhatsApp concierge always available, make everything feel seamless, personal, and easy. We’ve traveled quite a bit and stayed in some great places, but Pnoe Breathing Life has set a new standard for us. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave and can’t stop dreaming about once you do.If you’re thinking about booking – don’t hesitate. This place is a true gem. Thank you, Pnoe, for everything. We’ll be back again – without a doubt!

the staff were very kind and the food was decent

We stayed at Pnoe Breathing Life and unfortunately felt that the experience didn’t justify the high price tag. While the staff were very kind and the food was decent, the overall hotel experience was underwhelming. This isn’t our first time in Greece or Crete, so we came with reasonable expectations — but the hotel didn’t meet them. It looks much better in the photos than in reality. The design felt claustrophobic, small, and cramped, with no view whatsoever. Even the pool area was disappointing — the lounge chairs face a wall, which made for an unpleasant and uninspiring atmosphere. We booked several treatments at the spa, but the quality was far from 5-star. One day we had a massage, and the very next day, the same person gave us a manicure and pedicure — not what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. To make things worse, the manicure and pedicure were overpriced and felt very unprofessional. We were also very disappointed with the limited dining options at the hotel. There’s barely any variety, and honestly, it’s much better to dine in Heraklion — the experience is far more enjoyable. There are definitely better hotels in Crete at this price point. Sadly, I would not recommend this one.

Amazing place to stay. Very clean and chilled.

Gym is quite small but still efficient.

Wery clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. Resort territory is like it was created for the Instagram. You can make a lot of nice photos. Stylish rooms. You can always find free sunbed near the main pool and on the beach. The beach is mostly sandy. We appreciate the variety of food for the breakfast.

    Too small gym

What can I say, we are more than impressed and will be back next year! This place is a wonderful escape from reality if you want that. It is super modern, all new, very elegant, with a very friendly staff. The rooms are great. The layout, the quality of materials, the smart room features and warm color scheme are wonderful. The two restaurants serve great food, and the breakfast has a wide range of offerings and is yummy too. The gym has great options and the SPA offers a wide range of activities and experiences. We stayed not long enough to really let go and fully embrace the hotel, but we want to be back.

There is not much to dislike about this place. If you want to be super picky, you could argue some rooms do not get enough of the sun, because of the walls separating the suites. Also, if you want warm pool water, let the staff know before, or come during summer. For us, it was not a big deal, though.

Close to airport perfect for immediate relaxing - no hassle with transferThough you will be entertained by planes flying over regularly - which you soon zone out as the vibe of the place is so nice. Such a joy to be adults only - great gym & stunning spa, fabulous breakfast, food, great DJ in bar area
