The Plaza Bodrum

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! A special thanks to all the staff who patiently cleaned up after our 1-year-old boy—they were so friendly and accommodating, which made our stay much more relaxed and enjoyable. The food was delicious, offering a good variety, and the hotel facilities are truly exceptional, from the comfortable rooms to the well-maintained common areas. The overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it perfect for families. We strongly recommend this hotel to everyone and hope to return in the future!

The food, the location and the staff was amazing. Especially Ahmet Demir, always engaging and lots of positive energy and Serdar, the guest relations manager for his personalized welcome and support. Also Yasmin and Seyma were very helpful

In the main restaurant, sometimes the waiters are very late serving coffee but I think it is too busy

Super friendly service of the staff, including those working in the restaurant, house keeping, and Customer Relations. Mr Yaman and Ms Yasemin helped us greatly. We had left an iPhone in the Istanbul Airport on the way to Bodrum. Mr Yaman helped us initially and then Ms Yasemin took over the case, corresponding with the airport information and Lost&Found office. Due to her dedication and relentless efforts, the iPhone was finally found! She went over and beyond the call of duty to help us recover the phone.

i) food in the restaurant was very oily. ii) live entertainment was short, not much dance music. We had higher expectation.

Our stay at The Plaza was truly unforgettable. The hotel’s position is unbeatable, small peninsula up the hill with breathtaking views and sunsets. The sea was very enjoyable. Beautiful territory with everything close by and easily accessible by walk or shuttle, grounds and facilities well maintained and pleasant. Special thanks to Mr. Serdar, the manager from guest relations team, who made an extra effort to accommodate all our needs, and to Ayhan from the beach bar.The hotel should be more eco friendly and reduce disposable plastics

This is our second stay in this hotel and every time we are obsessed with everything from cleanliness to service. Affordable luxury hotel with such a great view and activities for kids. We had a great experience in Privee beach with Ceren Ozturk playing tarbuka. It was so much fun. We couldn’t even see any cons. Yet you guys better bring an iron with u since its not free to rent one. Other than that my kids didn’t want to leave such a peaceful and at the same time funny place. Special thanks to Yasemin in Turkish Hammam who helped me to have a good time in Spa :)

Property is very beautiful - greenery, beautiful beach, amazing pool. The property is also massive but they have golf carts to go around. But above all, the service was impeccable. In my experience, Plaza Bodrum has had the best service so far.

Couple of the younger staff members who are assigned to us try to do their best to help our stay make as pleasant as possible. But their top leadership seems to not have an understanding of what needs to be done to make the guests happy and restful.Their food selection was lower level five star. What I mean is that they did have decent options of seafood and meat and other desserts fruits and a variety. It was not reaching five stars top tear though.

NOISE! The right side of the hotel is facing a fish restaurant that plays music the entire afternoon later into the night and uncertain days through the entire night, using subwoofers and base. Impossible to even hide in an expensive cabin. The entire cabin vibrates because of Bass. They don’t seem to understand that tranquility that they seem to be promising in the lobbies is about normal music sound.If you are looking for a peaceful relaxation time, do not expect it.They don’t respect their guests. It may be my passport. But though we paid for a more expensive room, they gave us the smallest and cheapest room. It was dirty. After speaking with them and pointing it out that we paid for a more expensive room they offered us a different room that was just tiny a bit larger. Still not what we paid for with extremely dirty armchair and dirt around as the hotel was very worn out.After I finally went to the reception and told them in a calm manner that I’m willing to pay for an upgrade, they showed me two more options, including a cabin with a private pool and the neighbors on the other side of the wall.That cabin was very nice. I did pay quite a heavy upgrade fee.They did not tell us that the music from across is going to be like a nightclub level playing Bass as loud as they can. After we ask them through the Butler to please keep it down, they actually were able to bring it to a normal level but just for an hour or so. The very next day, the music came back on. Worse, in the evenings they would run either private parties and birthdays were the music was playing all the way up to midnight with fireworks at 11 at night and no peace. Then on Friday, the music would wake us up at two in the morning playing disco Bass all the way through the night. Once we inquired again, we were told that this is going to be a weekly occurrence.

The staff, especially Mesut, were incredibly kind and accommodating. We were very comfortable our entire stay. We splurged on a villa with private pool. It was quite luxurious. All of our meals were outstanding. When we ventured to the beach or Privee Beach Club the service was outstanding.

It was cost prohibitive to have friends join us on property. There's an access/entry fee, which we totally understand. However, if we were to rent an over-water bungalow for the day there would've been additional charges. We couldn't justify bungalow rental fee + guest access fee.

So many facilities, great beach and sunset view. Very friendly service and staff, especially Ezgi and Buse.

The facilities

Fair service, I did not like the late check out policy. Upon my arrival I asked for late check out they let me wait until last day to approve for it, at last they allow me to late check out but made me pay 100 euro just for 3 hours and forced me to leave at 5:00pm!! Most hotels around the world allow the guests until 9:00 pm if there is extra charge for late check out!

I asked for late check out, they told me to wait until the last day to check the availability! At least they charged me 150 euro just for three more hours!

The location, the view and the beaches and the pool view were amazing .The staff hospitality especially Mr. sabri and all the plaza assist team ( especially semi ) were amazing.

Some area where not open yet. Maintenance activity noise near the pool and the heated pool were out of service

Gorgeous and opulent property and landscaping. Spacious room with beautiful seaview.Sandy beach with crystal-clear water , almost wave-free.

1. Beach lounges did not have mattresses, and some were torn or broken, making them uncomfortable- definitely not a 5-star experience. Also beach towels need replacement as they were worn out.2. Bed mattresses too soft. Housekeeping needs improvement.3. Food was plentiful but not the best quality - more of a 4-star hotel, not 5-star.4. Lack of information on facilities, entertainment, restaurants etc.5. Bad communication with staff due to their lack of English language knowledge.

Excellent location. Excellent food. Very kind and helpful staff. No complaints. Had a wonderful time and will happily return.

Room service food not standard of 5-star hotel. Quite a long way from Bodrum. Lots of "extras". SPA is more expensive than Central London!
