Pros +
- The property is well-suited for families with young children. Staff were very attentive. Plenty of delicious food and drinks, and good access to the beach/pool. The water was very clear. The property is a bit outside of town, requires a 15-minute bus ride to Bodrum to access shopping.
- I enjoyed the food very much. Especially the desserts. The daily fresh warm baklava selection for dinner was something to look forward to every evening. The hotel is nicely located on a cove/beach, feels very private. The pool is also very nice, although in early-mid October it was a bit cold already. Facilities are really clean and well kept. The room was spacious and bathroom was tip top. The whole hotel complex is not very tall so it doesn’t feel too much like a massive hotel. Honestly I couldn’t ask for a better stay. This hotel definitely changed my vision of an all-inclusive stay in Turkey.
- Our stay was wonderful! The room was large and spacious, and everything was very clean. The surroundings were beautiful and green — banana, orange, and lemon trees created a lovely atmosphere throughout the well-maintained complex. The staff were all extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. The bar staff were fantastic! The food was varied, fresh, and delicious. Samara Hotel is definitely a place I will return to!
Cons -
- Better seafood options and better house wine/beer selection would have been appreciated.
- Gym and indoor swimming pool was a little worn. Depending on what time you come to dinner, it may be difficult to find a place to sit and I ended up walking around with a plate in my hand some evenings. That’s all.
- Cold pool, no AC, short opening hours for buffet, no à la carte restaurant opened

Room are beautiful and modern
Cold pool, no AC, short opening hours for buffet, no à la carte restaurant opened
The beach is amazing for swimming .The Philippine workers are pretty hard working and unbelievable in their service ?
Breakfast was repetitive
Our stay at Samara Hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. A huge special thanks to Miss Catharina Vermoesen, who made our experience unforgettable. We actually had a situation with a previous booking that became non-refundable due to an unexpected airport issue. She was incredibly understanding and immediately canceled our booking free of charge, which we really appreciated. Because of her kindness and professionalism, we booked again at the same hotel, and it was absolutely worth it.The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Thanks to Ms. Catharina Vermoesen, our honeymoon was truly magical. She even arranged amazing room decorations that exceeded our expectations! We also want to thank the entire hotel staff—they were all friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our experience at Samara Hotel was perfect, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.5 stars all the way!
Wifi connection was very slow
Rooms, garden and view, beach is sandy
Food was too standard and bland, nothing exceptional
The staff were the highlight of my stay—helpful, professional, and always friendly. A special thanks goes to Sudanaze for her pleasant service and warm smile, and to Ismaeil for being especially helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet was decent, with all the essentials like eggs, bread, cheese, and salads. The pool and outdoor seating area were also nice features, providing comfortable spaces to relax.
Unfortunately, much of the experience fell short of expectations for a five-star all-inclusive resort. The hotel felt outdated, with old towels and an average room setup. At one point, the room locker malfunctioned and locked me out from my valuables, requiring assistance from staff. The gym was particularly disappointing—it opened late (after 8 a.m.), was small, poorly equipped, and badly ventilated, making it feel more like a steam room than a fitness space. The food was also below average: while breakfast was fine, lunch and dinner lacked quality, and late-night snacks seemed to be leftovers from previous meals. Overall, my stay left me expecting more, especially given the rating and price.
The rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff were friendly.
Many on the staff didn’t speak English which made communication difficult at times. The food selection was small compared to other UAI we stayed at in Turkey.
It has clean and nice , big rooms. Their service is literally awesome, has great selections of food in almost all the time through the day.
A little bit crowded
The staff are welcoming, the property is clean, the food are excellent except on breakfast do not expect to see kaymak. They provide ice cream during the day near the swimming pool. All what booking described. Is correct After swimming towels are provided located next to the toilet.
They do not provide too brush and paste you have to ask the cleaner, the shampoo are two in one on the wall. No lotion or shower gel are provided like other 5 star hotels.
-Beach was amazing and clean -Pools and activities are great -Staff at pool bars, activities team, and restaurant were amazing, welcoming and everything were on spot , special thanks for them- Resort activities are fun and family friendly- location is good but you will need a car to drive around bodrum - you have huge selection of food options, you feel hungry in the resort, just sometime quality not greatest and coffee weren’t so good Overall the hotel is good for family resort stay just need to work with some of the bad points that made our stay annoying
- front desk team attitude wasn’t welcoming and where very rude to my wife several times- food quality against to what value paid wasn’t good food was repetitive no options same thing everyday and quality was very low - room service cleaning wasn’t up to standard or expected quality we had to complain several times to get good room clean up. One time my wife complained about room cleaning and front desk where like “oh well hotel is busy”, - towels and bedsheets are old and.rough- our first room was ready for us but smelled so bad as if we are sleeping in toilet , when my wife asked front desk to change room they were like “no we don’t have room for you and we won’t change it” and they sent air freshener, until I went and made a scene at front desk to have better room
The best thing about Samara is that it is compact, without feeling small. The property is well laid out, with plenty of space for all guests. There is a large sandy area, and a smaller travertine patio for those who don’t like sand. A large multi use pool, kiddie pool, and an adults only pool. Several bars spread across the property, and two restaurants that serve AMAZING food! The personnel were fantastic, they make this property run smoothly and make the guests feel welcomed and happy! Special thanks to chef Buse in the pool kitchen, our server Ahmet in the main restaurant and our server Yaren in the pool restaurant!
I may be nitpicking, but some of the lounge chairs could be upgraded, and some of the staff need a lesson in courtesy, especially Mr. Ahmet in the reception area who was very condescending and disrespectful.
The location is good
The rooms we’re not very modern but kind of classic. The housekeeping is poor and is not up to standard. The bed sheet was dirty and was not changed throughout the duration of our stay. The a la carte restaurant was advised as fully bookies for breakfast when the Restaurent was empty when I mentioned this they confirmed the booking.
The hotel left a very good impression overall. The facilities were excellent, the rooms were comfortable, and the food was delicious with a good variety. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool area and the nearby beach, which were both well-maintained and relaxing. The location is excellent—very easy to reach from the airport, and getting into Bodrum city is simple and affordable with cheap public transport tickets.
The only minor issue was that the bathroom inventory felt a bit old, but it didn’t significantly affect our stay.
the nature is very nice. The staff is extremely nice, they were super helpful. We had no problem with cleaning. Every place was very well cleaned. After every meal everywhere is cleaned so you can smell it.
I mean nothing is horrible but for the price and tag of luxury all in it doesn't pan out. Food is ok at best. the beach could have been amazing but it is not maintaned at all, not clean. The kids play ground is in terrible terrible condition, right under the sun (34C), weeds alround (spiked). The chlorine in the pool is so much it burns your nose. Sea was a bit dirty on the enterance along the whole coast. There is a very lound horrible music coming from the place next door.
The place literally is peace of mind. Easy to reach out
Need to work out hard to people activities and party. Water sports too expensive
Had a fabulous stay at Samara. Warm, welcoming & helpful staff, great food, clean rooms, pool & beach. The hotel
The beach access, pools and fitness club. It was ultra all inclusive which meant even drinks were included. The quality of the food was very good. When I contacted the front desk for request we got them within a reasonable time. The ala carte dining experience was very nice. It is allowed once per stay.
The deep cleaning of the room on arrival could have been better given it’s a 5 star resort hotel.
Facilities and swimming pools
I’ve booked and paid room with sea view and they gave me room 530 which you can’t see the sea unless you stand up and stretch your neck to the extreme right side and your body out of terrace!!No body was handling our baggage’s when arriving at entrance, so I have to handle myself then return to park my car. When I asked they said the only one man and he was busy with other. The reception was not in rush and we are only the guest at the reception counter
