Hotel Modo

Stayed Oct 4-7, Great views from our balcony, breakfast was delicious. The location is convenient to travel to old town ( arena area), we had a car, but there is a bus that runs regularly into the center of town, and the stop is 50m from the hotel. Staff are very helpful, Melissa at the front desk was pleasant, helpful and professional.

Not much going on in the evening, no restaurant at night, probably because of the time of year. It was very quiet, although my wife and I enjoyed that.

Nice hotel. Great buffet breakfast, included in price. Easy access to downtown via bus. Good bars/restaurants within easy walking distance. Same with beaches.

Unusual hotel doesn't offer dinner or promote Happy Hour.

We loved the location with a view of the sea. On-site secure parking was a bonus. We still had to drive to the city center but being that the hotel was away from the city, it was quiet. Breakfast was delicious with too many choices to name and the staff made excellent coffee.

The room is a great size, staff was amazing they gave us an upgrade with a view and parking was included. all around great service.

Breakfast good. Room spotless. Adjacent to a bus stop. Parking.

TERRIBLE location. Very loud construction noise from multiple (!) construction sites, decrepit neighborhood. Campgrounds next door = people talking loudly outside late at night. A large structure built into the ocean floor (that towed people on water) obliterated the advertised “sea view”. A/C was not functional. Bidet not functional. No grab bar in shower, making for dangerous situation when stepping out of tub onto wet floor. ( Completely devoid of any charm - not really a complaint, just an observation. )

The view of balcony was good.

It was not clean enough. The breakfast was so poor. They did put a shampoo :(. See in foto. The hotel was not like a hotel, was like a hostel for me.

Clean, comfortable. Amazing view and coastlines.It was my 2nd stay here because of a business trip and I will definitely come back.

We loved how nice they were at serving the breakfast, they provided us also gluten-free, milk-free and eggs-free breakfast, which surprised me a lot as this package of allergies is not so easy to serve :) Thank you again, I loved the grilled vegetable and the gluten-free bread! The space btw was very clean and comfortable, I recommend staying here.

Perfect location from which to explore Pula and the surrounds. Free car park adjacent to hotel. Food excellent and staff particularly helpful. Room with sea view was large and equipped with fridge, large screen TV and FOC wifi.

There was no downside

The hotel has an excellent location. You can easily reach several beaches with beautiful natural surroundings. If you don’t have your own car, you can take a bus to the city center. There are many cafes where you can enjoy delicious coffee in the morning and wine in the evening.

We didn’t like that breakfast was not included in the price when staying in an apartment, whereas it is included when booking a hotel room. If you want to add breakfast, it costs 22 euros per person, but on the booking app, it’s listed as 15 euros per person. For a family, 66 euros for breakfast isn't reasonable.We had a night flight and hoped to use the hotel’s taxi service. However, the hotel taxi service is quite expensive at nearly 40 euros, while Uber is available for around 20 euros.If you stay in an apartment, daily cleaning is not included. They only change towels and restock toiletries once a week.

Wonder staff , location, breakfast and view.

Comfortable and spacious room. Excellent buffet breakfast with lots of choice which we enjoyed eating on the sea view terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location with frequent bus service into the centre of Pula. Shopping centre nearby with large supermarket.

Great room with sofas and view to the sea. Bathroom has window and tub. Hotel is next to two beautiful beaches and to the bus stop from where can go to the City Center and the famous arena. I loved it. Breakfast was great. We are planning to come back soon.

Nothing at all

Hotel Modo was clean, pleasant, comfortable and the location was perfect! The complimentary breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. The food was fresh, healthy and delicious and you can’t beat the view on the outside patio. Vlad, the owner, was attentive, kind and helpful. He shared info about the best local swimming spots and sights to see in town.

For the high price not even a bottle of water in the room, the window on the street and not on the sea,

Breakfast was amazing, a lot vegetables, fruit, sweets. Parking just for the guests

No coffee machine in the room, toletaries are in bag just for one time only

Great location for those who want to be close to nature, lots of beautiful beaches nearby, also a kayak rental facility next door. The city centre could be reached by bus or taxi (quite affordable prices as of July 2024). The breakfast was awesome and a little different every day, the room very large with the comfortable beds, great room service also.

Nothing to dislike, everything was perfect:)

We chose this hotel as the offerings in pula were limited and very little if any parking. The Modo offers secure parking in a very pleasant waterside location. A regular bus runs to town from just outside and taxis were available as needed. The hotel is modern and pleasant with friendly staff.

Reasonably pricey but met our expectations.
