Old,but nice & clean hotel, 15min walk to city center. Comfortable room & various options for breakfast.

It is 10 minutes waking to the downtown and 5 minutes to the Beach.. All the staff are very kind, breakfast is good and the restaurant ladies also very kind, the Hotel manager is also kind. It is a good example of good people in Croatia..

Big room, nice big bed. Breakfast was pretty decent.

Little bit of a walk to local attractions. A small refrigerator would have been nice.

Great value hotel,

Bordering on a hostel-like facility with minimal investment, but it's a giant building repurposed so would cost millions to do well, so all things considered, it served the purpose. Lighting in the room was a turn-off, fluorescent tubes on the wall that would suit a car park not a hotel room, but warm, comfy, good value and basic, so no complaints.Curtain in the room is only half the width of the window. It's a 10 euros piece of fabric to fix this.

Very friendly staff, very helpfull. The room was nice but it could be a little bit updated. Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the center of Pula.

The bathroom was not completely clean. The shower should be updated.

The hotel is stuck in time. The room was clean but very cold. The heating was not adequate.

The room decor. The fact that it looked like a hotel room from the 80s. The room was very cold.

You get what you pay for. I was expecting old furniture, an OK breakfast, a 20 minute walk to the city, and minimal luxury, and this is what I got. The room was bigger than expected and clean. Two of the receptionists were friendly.

There are easy improvements to make without completely renovating this ‘thing’. The receptionist lady that had duty on Friday 19/9 was very unfriendly and wouldn’t even look at you when greeting - not a good impression, easy to improve. The sheet that was underneath my blanket was way too short, so my feet were touching the same blanket that the 100 people before me slept under. Just take care of decent bed covers… Since I had a bike that needed storage, the only place they had was behind the other/closed entrance door at the front side of the building. This meant I had to carry the bike up and down stairs to park it. That was inconvenient and reason enough to pay a bit more for a better hotel next time I’m in Pula with a bike.

Hotel Veli Joze is located just 10-15 minutes walking from the city centre in Pula. Relation quality-price is ok. The building is interesting, room with high ceilings and very spacious. Breakfast was ok.

As the building is old, it may need a refurbishment in some areas. Mattress and pillow would be also recommendable to be changed, for me they weren't comfortable at all.

Good size rooms. Good value for money. 15 min walk to centre.

The hotel location worked well for us as we didn't want to be in the centre of Pula. It took us 15 minutes to walk into the town and we also had some nice morning runs along side the waters edge. Veli Jože has a lot of Navel history to explore.

Breakfast was OK, nothing special. The bed was on the firm side. No lift available.

Breakfast is tasty and plentiful. The location of the facility is very good, everywhere on foot, but you can also take the bus.

Rooms are modestly furnished. At least glasses would be useful.

breakfast was good, not too muh stuff to choose, but was ok for us. nice place 20min to beach 20min to centre so it was in the middle...caffee or restaurants close.AC works well, saved our comfort...we had it on all the time we were there and during night.

one night we smelled smoke from cigarets, seems like it was comming from AC...dont know if somebody smoke near outside units..

The property was very clean, the staff was very kind, and the breakfast was very good.

The Wi-Fi signal could be much better.

The bathroom kept flooding when taking a shower

Location is unbeatable and the staff was very very nice and accommodating.

The installations are a little dated, specially the bathroom.On a minor level the wifi was not the greatest.

The air conditioning was the only good thing. The room was also very large but that also made it feel hollow. Little to no decoration.

Our shower was moldy in the walls, the room felt like a field hospital during a war. There was a hair in my breakfast.

Very nice staff and quiet rooms

Not much variety in the breakfast for people who are gluten free. Yogurts would be nice to have aswell.
