Pros +
- Staff really not welcoming a tall wanted to stay another night but didn’t feel that welcome so decided to leave after the first night wouldn’t return to hotel
- Pine trees park few steps from a Hotel and beautiful beach Gortanova and Lungomare
- The breakfast was fine. Tasty but same every day with no variations. Pool seems ok but the inside bar doesn't serve or allow drinks at the pool, only if you buy in the poolside bar which doesn't serve coffee.
Cons -
- Very nice people
- There was no minibar or fridge in the room which I found an inconvinience, especially when 3 stars usually provides this service. Room air conditioning seems dirty and not maintained. Furniture in the lounge is old and dirty. Restaurant is often missing cutlery and food is not restocked quickly enough. At times waiting period exceeds 10 mins. The staff seem uncoordinated in that sense, not enough control over food.
- The hotel needs a restoration.

Location, free parking, pet friendly, nearby areas for dog walking.
The hotel needs a restoration.
Stuff was very nice and helped me with my car that broke during our time in Pula. They were very nice even took me to the local car service. Big thank you for the guys! Rooms are clean and regulary maintained. Food was nice.
Property is old and need renovation. At the same time I was in the hotel there were also few group with kids. It was very hard to chose the meal because it was crowded.
Staff is very nice. Was lat for breakfast and they served me one anyway.
Quiet location, near the beach.
Bed not comfortable !Dinning room "old style" but felt like in Russia !Carpet worn up in common area.
Nice quiet area. Nearby restaurant Stari Grad 2 was great. Short walk down to a beautiful swimming beach. Breakfast had a reasonable range
Bath shower difficult to use as it has doors that make the space very narrow. Small room with few features and a view of the carpark. Seems over priced for the old facilities
The location is relatively close to the beach. Very kind staff. Very good dinner at a very attractive price.
The breakfast was okay
Air con was barely working, mould in the shower beds were terrible, carpet was grotty toilet wouldn't flush had to bucket water into it to clean it.
The staff genuinely did their best. Changed our rooms when we asked. Hats off to the cleaners for keeping the place clean despite everything being clapped out. It must be soul destroying polishing a turd day in, day out.
Avoid like the plague. To my mind, the owner is laughing at guests and his staff. Totally run down. First rooms we were shown looked like they hadn't seen paint since communist era, plus the furniture was as old. A complete joke. Carpets in communal areas worn out. Breakfast abysmal, nothing there. Owner seems to be aiming at the bottom of the market and hitting lower. Window frames rotten. Air con in first rooms thundering out warm air. Don't try adjusting it, said the receptionist, would have been hard, as the control was broken. We actually like brutalist architecture and mid century modern furniture. Not as run down and broken as this though. In the 90s I worked inspecting farms for the UK Environment Agency. We had a sad case where a farmer went mad and stopped feeding his animals. 100s of them either died or had to be shot. Honestly this hotel reminds me of that case...in God's name give it up and pass your business on to someone who cares about hospitality.
Very old hotel which needs to be renovated. Much too expencive. Old and dorty carpets, broken furniture. Tiny bathroom.
Very old hotel, old carpets, broken furniture…
I stayed in this hotel 2 nights from 29.7. – 31.7.2024. This officially 3-stars hotel is more than half a century old and one can see that right away. Although relatively well maintained, it badly needs to be renovated to satisfy the standards normally valid nowadays of a 3-star hotel. My room was clean and the bed comfortable
The bathroom was a problem. The bathtub rim was unusually high – some 70 cm – with a sliding door that was obviously retrofitted. Particularly climbing out of the wet and thus slippery bathtub was difficult and potentially dangerous. Equipment in the bathroom: towels and soap dispenser. Breakfast was poor: bad coffe, already at 9:00 am there was no more fresh fruit, just a few thin orange slice, juices from syrup. There is small pool behind the hotel; all the facilities were in poor condition, particularly the shower. I came to Pula for the Duran Duran concert in the Arena and was disappointed that the distance to the venue was incorrectly indicated at hotel’s booking.com site (2km). The receptionist corrected this information to 3km – according to my Bike Tracker it was some 5,5 km, which is a big different particularly late at night.
Hotel has best location and I choose it because of lowest price (108€ per night incl breakfast + dog fee). I only tell something good about pool (not about damaged pavement around). Breakfast normal, nothing special
Room with balcony with mould, bed mattress bedsored, stale air, not so good working AC, bathroom with mould, shower hose with water leakage. Parking for disables persons (I'm DP) far from main hotel door.
Great location beach only a short walk
Hotel is dated
Nice view from the balcony and good breakfast.
The hotel is not modern and requires renovation.
Free parking, balcony location
It was like walking down the memory lane. The hotel is screaming for renovation. It has an 80s look.
For the money, very good. The hotel is from the former system, I see it as a "retro" style. Clean, tidy, enough for me
I didn't find anything to complain about
Breakfast and dinner were good. Room was big enough and also clean. From balcony we could see sea. Staff was very nice. The hotel is close to many paths that lead along the sea.
breakfast ok , personnel very genitle , poor quality of room and bed .
room poor , bed and unconfortable , the windows have only small transparent cover lot of dau light inside room the since early morning
