Hotel Amfiteatar

The location was right next to all the historical sites. We had dinner here and it was good, not excellent - but good enough! The room was smaller, but it is to be expected in the heart of the historical district. The Ampitheater was right there.

The room was on the small side. There isn't much night life in that part of the town.

Location is very favorable, near Marina.Rooms are clean, and good-sized for Europe. Desk personnel are quite cordial and helpful with directions, recommendations, arranging taxis, etc.The STAR is the restaurant. Best Meals ever in Europe!

Perfect location with very helpful staff. The room was nice, tidy, and very clean, and the Wi-Fi was excellent throughout my stay. I would happily recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Location, comfort, value. We enjoy visiting Pula. We don’t have a car so this hotel is in walking distance if the bus station. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great!

Location, decor, room comfort, the receptionist help

Location was excellent and the receptionist was very helpful. Breakfast had a good selection though as I had to leave early on final day, I missed out that morning!

Great location with easy access to the old town area, ferry terminal, restaurants and of course the colosseum. The hotel staff are first class from reception to restaurant and cleaning. The breakfast has good selection and should you have an early ferry ride to Venice as we did they will provide a take out breakfast of fruit, yogurt, buns and cheese. When you return from site seeing, drinks are available in the lobby area for a reasonable price.

A couple of notes about the rooms on the third floor. First, they only have venting skylights and no windows for emergency exit of the room which is a safety concern in case of a fire. Each country sets their fire codes and in Canada this would be illegal as access cannot be achieved without a ladder. Secondly, although the hotel has modern technology like tablets in the rooms, smart TV, new flooring and beautifully updated bathrooms the room furnishing or more like what would be found in a hostel with bare walls, folding metal chairs and very cheap metal tables. It just doesn’t make any sense to me since everything else is so nice.

Proximity to historic sites.

Not the fault of the property, but the air conditioning was not working, so the room was uncomfortably warm.

5mins walk to the ferry dock and being next to the main site attraction of Pula.

The hotel crew all around were exceptionally welcoming and nice. The receptionist Ana was outstanding with her friendly attitude and helpful recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try. Plus, attended a concert at the Arena - amazing!Breakfasts spread was fresh and delicious and breakfast chef Ivan was extra attentive.

The location is exceptional for vising the old part of Pula. The receptionist (Christian) was very understanding and helpful

Location is central, room is clean

Way too hot in the room, even though it was just early May. Airco is no good at all. A lot of city noise, including dance bassbeats until 3.30. Didn't sleep much. Moreover, when you ask the hotel to get you a taxi to the airport you'd expect them to call a reliable one. The one they offered asked 35 euro cash only. Normally, on meter or regular fixed rate would be about 15 euro... This is criminal to tourists...

Staff & great location.

Small bathroom & shower glass was too small for area leaving the floor very wet.
