Hôtel Du Centre Annemasse

Location was perfect to catch the bus to Geneva. The staff was helpful.

The hotel was to have Air Conditioning. Room 102 did not have air conditioning. The room clerk told me that the hotel had no Air Conditioning because it never got hot enough to need it. I had to open the windows every day and night to keep myself cool.

The receptionist was very helpful and kind he’s name is Ahmed

Location was central in city. Parking available, but due to the in-city road constructions, it was difficult to get in there in the first place. But OK as soon as I found my way (Google map was not of much help).

The hotel is a bit outdated, but was clean and OK.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The building is old, but it has everything you need for a comfortable visit. The AC worked perfectly, the bed was comfy, and the room was clean. Having a dedicated parking space was a big plus and made the stay stress-free.The price was definitely worth the value — we stayed 3 nights and it was the perfect base for short trips to Annecy, Geneva, and other nearby places. The staff was attentive and overall the atmosphere of the hotel was very good.Would recommend for anyone looking for good value and convenience in the area.

The neighborhood is currently undergoing tram construction, which makes it a bit difficult to drive or walk around. However, this is not the hotel’s fault, just the circumstances.

Rooms were great. Breakfast good. Location is great but lots of construction work going on in the vicinity made it a little hard to get there but we think it is very accessible if it were not for the construction works.

The location was in the center of the city but it felt dangerous in the evening/night (9 p.m.) and there were roadworks which made finding the parking a bit challenging

Good reception and helpful, comfortable room. ate breakfast locally as lots of coffee shops. really convenient for train station and car parking worked well.

There was extensive renovation work going on in the streets around the hotel - likely to go on for at least end 2025.second floor room was quite noisy - both external bars etc, and room above scraping sounds.

Everything is clean and the staff is nice and helpful.

There's nothing not to like.

Disappointing

Room didn’t have any refreshment. No kettle no tea or water. The toilet brush holder had dried leftover poo on it. In the room was a door with a little lock on it which could be an access for the neighbours room. The WiFi connection was off and on. Really unstable. In the shower, wasn’t a shower head holder. So you needed to hold the head with one hand while you shower. And lastly sometimes you could smell cigarette smell through under the main door with draft.

The reception was open around midnight so I did not have to sleep in the car. I really appreciate this place as it saved me. There was breakfast good enough.

Tobacco smell in the room, possibly coming from the bed sheets. It was bearable but not nice. The entire area around the hotel is under heavy road construction, had to leave the car and walk some 5 min under rain.

Location was nice. Near the middle of town, shopping, the Xmas market and the tram to Geneva. The train station was also not that far away.The staff were very nice, we had a nice time talking to them and they tried their best to make our stay comfortable.The duvets are excellent.The front desk is always staffed.The breakfast is open until later.

The rooms could use some work. We were moved to a second room, which was nicer, but still had issues.The staff are not exactly meticulous either in the rooms or the breakfast area. We didn't love the pillows.The breakfast is not really great, although I've been to big brand hotels that were no better. The hot food is not cooked, it's taken from packaging and put straight in the hot plate.There is no ice, glasses or bar service at the hotel. This is something I expect at a hotel, especially one boasting 3 stars.Apparently this hotel has attracted people who get away with smoking in the rooms. It would be strictly forbidden, but we regularly smelled cigarette smoke in the hotel.

Less than 10min walk from the train station, convenient location. The room is quite clean and it does the job if you want to spend just one night.

I have been staying at Hotel du Centre for years. Like the location, staff very nice, room cleaned and comfortable.

Breakfast was good but not initially available as we were included in the planning, even though we payed for it.Safe Parking is a big atu for the area.

Location is not the best one - works going on around the hotel every day, so it might be tough to spent long morning in bed. Access to the hotel is also tough because of the same reason.

The Hotel is in the center of Annemasse, so you may hear some in the evenings, but if you have a room facing the backyard it is quite good. The hotel is decent, though modest. The rooms are not big, but sufficient The bed is good, and the bathroom nice white, clean and tidy. Very helpful and nice staff :)

The elevator is small and works slowly. At the time of our stay there was a street construction outside, so getting to the hotel was problematic, though the staff sent us a good note on this the day before and was very helpful in directing our car to the parking entrance once we arrived ;). This, however, won't be a problem once the construction is finished. It should be noted that if you come with a car, the parking in the backyard costs 10E a day. Also there is a small local tax of 2E a day

Unfortunately, it was very challenging to get to the property with most of the roads being closed due to roadworks and it was quite noisy with all of the construction machinery just outside of the hotel

Located in the very centre. Breakfast was very good.

Currently extensive roadworks underway until 2025 I think just in front of the hotel. Windows not very hermetic so you can hear a lot of noise and also wind through.

The bathroom was big and comfortable, and the room has enough space to move around + a closet

The lift looks a bit old and the corridor has a strong smell. Maybe leaving the window open in the corridor will change that
