The cleanliness of the hotel, the warm reception by staff and the closeness to the tram station.

I feel I didn't get value for money for the breakfast. The menu was lacking in things like beef sausages and black tea.

Excellent location. With 20-25 minutes you are in Geneve. Tram stop literally in front of the hotel.

At night it was not a place you want to walk around.. not well lit and very town very dirty. Once in the hotel one feels safer.

Since I was using public transport, this hotel is located across from the Croix-d'Ambilly tram stop on tram line 17. The trip to central Geneva takes about 25 minutes and costs €4.80. (Hotels in Geneva are very expensive, and this plan worked well for me.)There is free water supply next to the reception counter.

It's a basic hotel, you need the infrastructure around it (for example, a bakery, a market).

Good value for our money. Basic room, comfortable beds, quiet, clean. Nice breakfast. Close supermarket. Tram to Geneva next by.

Size of the standard double room is good so it feels less suffocating and you have more space to move around comfortably and having a spacious hotel room gives a very good feeling. The location of this Ibis hotel in Annemasse is really a strong positive and its biggest plus as there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel where a tram quickly takes you right to the center of Geneva so travelling to and from Geneva via this no. 17 tram is super convenient.

The standard double room although good in size lacks a small fridge and a comfortable sofa and a better chair. A waste bin for the room is needed too. The Buffet breakfast although nice enough but still it can be enriched by adding some more basic variety of food like a bread with slices ( that I just saw for one day during my 3 night stay) to quote one example.

My current reservation is for my third stay there. This means all.

Reasonably good hotel close to Geneva and in good price. It's nothing fancy, but the fact that there is nothing wrong with it and it is offered in these prices next to Geneva is exceptional. Access to Geneva centre is about 30mins with tram (the hotel is in front of the tram stop).

There are small things that could improve the stay without essential extra cost, like putting some glasses in the rooms for water drinking.

If you are heading Geneve the tram stop is right in front of the hotel. There is parking which was important for me.

In a hotel like this I would expect a coffee machine or a kettle in the room. Another night I wanted to stay here but they closed the booking about an hour before last check in time and there was nobody at the reception. The check in is until 23 and I was there 23:03 and everything was closed.

Very run down hotel. Dirty carpet in the room with stains of various origins, plaster coming off the walls, horribly laid silicone in the bathroom and worst of all a filthy disgusting toilet brush. Towels and linen clean and bed reasonably comfortable.

Worst experience ever

The second night our room was left unclean and when we called the receptionist, she was so rude and unkind, she said: “It is your fault you didn't call the cleaner to clean up your room.” Never have I been told it is my responsibility to request a cleaner to clean up my hotel room. We went out at noon on the 3rd day, and when we returned in the evening we met our room door widely opened, our clothing brought out of our suitcase and left on the floor among dirty towels. We went straight to the reception, and we met this ride lady with an Arab name (can't remember her name), she said brashly: “I will look at the camera and you can checkout tomorrow if you want.” we ran back to the room only to realize we have missing items and money, we went back to her, but she remained cold about the situation and said: “Don't start a drama”. This statement was completely obnoxious to me, yet we ignored. And we just checked out the next day. We were supposed to stay for 4 days but of course, we had yo leave the hotel. We were promised a day refund but received nothing till now.

Nice hotel with good connection to the center of Geneva. Nothing fancy, but nothing wrong either, so, given the price, it is a really good deal. I have stayed here three times and never had any serious issue.

Cleanliness could be improved. Also some equipment in the room could be offered without any essential extra cost for the business, for example glasses for water.
