    Pros +

    • Located in the heart of old Saluzzo. The room was clean and very up to date while keeping the old charm. Updated showers, comfortable bed, and very helpful staff.
    • The staff was excellent. The location perfect. Beautiful structure.
    • This hotel was charming and loaded with history. My room had original frescos on the wall, and was within walking distance of plenty of restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was a huge value - fresh coffee to order, fresh fruit and pastries, and plenty of fresh Italian meats and cheeses. It couldn't be beat for 10 euros. The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to answer any questions.

    Cons -

    • Not specifically the hotel - but driving the narrow roads necessary to get to the hotel was challenging!
    • The breakfast was a typical cold continental buffet. It could be improved with some variety each day, some fresh pastries, fruit, etcI would expect a 4 star hotel of this type to provide basic amenities, ie Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash other than the tiny sample size found in our bath.
    • Almost nothing. My only complaint is that the room was very cold and, by law, the heat couldn't be turned on for another week. But they provided extra blankets and I wasn't hanging out in the room, anyway.

Location in the mideval part of the town was great. If you have a car ask how to get to the hotel which has parking before you get go

This was my second stay here. Beautiful location, excellent breakfast and kind staff. Highly recommend!

We have stayed before and enjoyed it.

Not a case of not liking, but our room needed a bit of updating and cosmetic attention in the bathroom.

Amazing reuse of an old convent that retained as much of the history as possible. Nice large room with a neat design and wonderful bathroom! Excellent breakfast and coffee in an amazing cellar!

The windows and refrigerator in our room didn’t function at all. We had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant and it wasn’t too great. The lights were way too bright, the wine was very expensive for Italy and worst of all the food simply wasn’t good.

The Hotel is located in a 17C monastery where the dining area is its cloister. It’s in a quiet location and the food is good and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was great and we had a balcony wth a lovely view of the adjoining church which is directly accessible from the cloister. Parking at the facility is generally available.

Getting there can be a bit tricky as the access roads are narrow and windy. An oversized vehicle is not recommended. However the view on top of a hill is well worth the effort!

    Friendly welcome and good restaurant.

Loud sound of TV in bar when nobody was watching was an irritating intrusion to our dining experience. A lack of thought. Fortunately our meal was first class.

incredible breakfast, super nice staff and very clean rooms

Excellent breakfast. Great location if you’re ok with walking up and down hill on cobblestones. Very easy to get lost!

It is a very special spot and the room we had was large with great views. The building is beautiful and being in the old monastery makes it unique. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great.

It was a beautiful old monastery with many original features still apparent. Lovely views. Staff friendly

The description on booking was in accurate. I booked a junior suite for my friends as a surprise. It says there is a hot tub in the room and wine/champagne for guests. Neither was true which was very disappointing. My superior double room had no kettle but the other room did.

Everything was perfect! The location, the building so curated and clean felt like traveling back to the antique Saluzzo (with a modern bathroom, extra points!). The breakfast was fantastic, the view from the room in the sunny morning and the access to the terrace was dreamy. Finally the staff also very nice, I'm definitely recommending and hoping to return!

The restaurant was closed for the season, I'd loved to taste some delicacies.

A beautiful and tranquil hotel in a former monastery. Stylish interior with pretty terrace off bedroom. Beautiful views and delicious breakfast.

Stunning property located in an old monastery. Very comfy beds and good Italian style spread at breakfast

Not much. Driving up streets to hotel was fun but not for the feint hearted

    9VeronicaPosted on: 10-16-2023

That the hotel was in an old nunnery and at the top of the old hilled town of Saluzzo, which os an incredible town to visit. It was a short and interesting walk to find restaurants and the whole town was amazing.

The bedroom doorhandles gave trouble as we checked in, though luckily this was sorted out by the incredible staff on duty.

Stunning hotel. Magnificent location with beautiful buildings around it. Scary drive on narrow cobbled streets to get to if!

    8WojciechPosted on: 9-4-2023

Terrific location, both in terms of the quaint medical town, the location inside the old town, as well as the building itself. Terrific.Everything is clean, everything is working, all very good

When I arrived, it started with a quarrel as there was no parking available at the property (in the courtyard) but I could park on the street. After a manager got involved, it became clear the receptionist could simply move her car which was parked in the guest spaces and I could park in the courtyard. So the argument was completely needless.

The location is great, and the hotel has lots of character The room was comfortable, although the portable air conditioner was not really capable of dealing with the exceptionally hot weather (European heatwave). The service was excellent and the staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is outstanding.

Sadly, the hotel's own restaurant was closed. However, we were recommended a nearby restaurant which was excellent. The in-room safe is too small for even a normal-sized tablet computer.
