The hotel is lovely. The rooms are lovely. The staff are pleasant. The location is peaceful. They are nice to dogs.

The food was of high quality but portions are far too small and my wife's food was not really warm. The food prices are very high and I was left expecting more. Worse was the total lack of hot water for me and my family at 7am. I understand that mistakes can be made but all I got was a "sorry" at reception. Some recognition of the inconvenience, financial or otherwise, would have been appropriate at a "5-star" hotel.

The property was lovely and the common areas were comfortable and beautiful. We had a large and spacious room with an outside patio with table and chairs. Loved the style of the room and the comfort. The bathroom was also wonderful with a tub and shower. Loved the grapefruit infused water offered in the lobby.

The breakfast was plentiful but absolutely nothing tasted good. It looked good but did not taste good. That was a disappointment but the breakfast room was elegant with great views. Also, the young girls who checked us in were not very knowledgeable and appeared to be too immature to be greeting guests at such a high end property.

Everything was a delight. Pleasant staff, very welcoming for the dog. Lovely and comfortable room and bed. Excellent facilities and lovely food.

Wonderful location in a floating lodge. We enjoyed waking up to the sight of egrets in the trees and sun glinting off the water. The restaurant was excellent. It was good to have a vegetarian menu.

We visited the hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the staff went to lots of effort to make us feel special, with chocolates, flowers and rose petals in our room on arrival. We had dinner on the terrace in from of the lake, with some enjoyable live music, and were able to relax the following day by the pool. Highly recommended.

A very beautiful hotel and peaceful setting. The room was very well designed and looked wonderful and the bed was very comfortable.

The check in was very very slow - need more people on reception as they take each guest to their room, which may be a lodge on the lake, and show guests the various amenities. This means everyone is waiting far too long to check in. Was not a good start to our stay.

The evening meal was a huge disappointment. The lamb was very chewy and inedible. For the price this is unacceptable.

Stayed in a lodge which is literally floating on the water and you have to call for a boat to pick you up every time you want to go somewhere. Fine for one night but would drive me mad after two. Would probably stay on land if we visit again. We arrived 40 minutes early and were promised a call when the room was ready but this never materialised.

in our room no 7 we had an extremely strong scent ,either it was scent styling through ventilation or a spray??Needs to be looked after . (mentioned when we checked out)
